So had my scan this morning everything looks great and it's twins!!!

star re serum clinic, I think ever answered everything, but if you need anything else let us know. I did donor embryo and they matched me down to my education and hobby level! So I’m quite happy. Good luck!

I’m 18wks tomorrow and found out on Sunday that I’ve been blessed with a little girl so all is good here!

I love hearing everyones success stories it's only thing keeps me going through all this

I'm so nervous for my scan tomorrow last time I broke down like an emotional wreck I just want to get off the starting block and at least have a shot at injections and the actual iui it's constant hurdles isn't it I know you all understand I can't talk to anyone as my family and friend I had told now think I'm not going ahead any more as it was too much stress they didn't think I should carry on so I'm going it in secret my own journey x

What time is your scan ttc really hoping everything is ok for tomorrow: we are here for you all the way x

Ladies! Thank you so much making me feel so welcome to the site! It’s so lovely to talk with people who are experiencing/have experienced similar things! It’s made me a bit emotionally!

Thank you for your post everhopful! And congratulations- really positive and wonderful news for you. I have had a hysteroscopy only two weeks ago as I have just finished 6 months of superovulation ( with no luck and now think I just wased time and money with that). I have a cyst on my left ovary whichever they were unable to drain, but my consultant feels this should have no impact on iVF with DE. Thanks for sharing the positive thoughts on the European clinic. I have a very supportive DH which has helped a lot. We are booked into serum at the end of the month and my next cycle is due to start around then- so I guess it could be really quick! Although we have a holiday mid April which might delay things!

Based in Essex- have a local fertility clinic so hoping they’ll do lining scans- I was wondering how they’re done, so thanks for answering that for me.

Reading through the thread- Mandy- I hope the HCG is continuing to climb! 🤞

Thanks @StorkAhoy and @Starshine1. Had my 2nd blood test today after work so will find out what's happening tomorrow. I sooooo hope it/they stick around! The clinic are starting me on lupion tonight. So really looking forward to that. I know that might sound mental but I'd rather do the injections as I think the pessaries/gel might have been aggravating my insides and I'm hoping with injections the blood will stop but I did do a clear blue digital this morning and it came back 2-3 weeks pregnant. 🎉🙏🏻

And that doesn't sound silly about the pessaries at all - I think since everyone's shaped a bit differently, some people will find them a bit of a problem! Just anecdotally from me and DP, we had totally different reactions to them and I am sure it is just to do with what shape you are inside.

Well spoke to the clinic and they said to do the injections every other day as a top up and I still have to take the pessaries 2 a day orally and 2 a day vaginally 😩 If I keep having problems I will ask them if I can do them all orally or 2 injections a day instead.

Oh, crikey, that is a lot. Yeuch. Lots of solidarity and sympathy.

Ouch Mandy, that is a lot! Hopefully all worth it in the end.

Good to be here! My wife and I are just embarking on our journey to parenthood. It's an exciting, and of course daunting time. Though it's great to be in the company of many others in a similar situation.

We have chosen IUI, with a bank donor as our preferred route - this will be at Birmingham Women's Clinic. My DW will be bio mum this time round, while we hope for role reversal in the future.

It's great to read everyone's experience. We look forward to sharing the good, bad and ugly! It most likely won't all be plain sailing.
