I’m sorry to hear that tlc it must be very frustrating!
Went for my bloods this morning they phoned this evening to say I have to come in on Wednesday for the IUI procedure!

Ttc Hope you got to talk to one of the doctors and are feeling a bit better about things.

Spoke to doc she said no point scanning in a week or two as lining will be even thicker then and polyps are hard to see when thick so can only scan at start of next cycle to check so another 6 weeks wait for me as can't take the norithserone til 4 weeks then have to take them for ten days then wait for bleed then see what next with results of scan I'm locking myself away at moment been hiding in my bed

Yea all very quick! I’ve been doing opk’s since Friday, the darkest line has been tonight! We went to the clinic this morning for an LH blood test so they discussed the result this afternoon and have decided Wednesday will be the next day! All very exciting but scary at the same time!

@Ttc2017 oh how devastating. I hope you have a better time of it next cycle. Maybe try castor oil packs in the meantime?
I have had things resolve themselves from one cycle to the next.
I have never known private FCs to not offer intervention if required - if they are saying to wait there is probably a reason to do so. A hysteroscopy is a big deal - better to avoid if you can.

Thanks I hadn't heard of caster oil will defo be trying that! Think I'll be out for next month now to though as period has stopped already after 3 heavy days then nothing! So guessing what ever they saw on screen will still be in there as haven't had any more bleeding to get it out. Really need to try get my cycles regular again and find out what's going on so going to go gp soon as can get an appointment. X

@kwick thanks for the advice...I got in touch with the clinic and they said they weren't expecting a breakthrough bleed as af ended really recently. Feel much better now.
@Ttc2017 so sorry to hear about your issues with getting started- I'm sure everything will sort itself out...it might just take a while. Pretty crappy though all the same.

Also just as a point of interest- my sister only had one ovary but still had a child. As they say it only takes one!

Not yet tinypaws, they did say they test your blood 17 days after I think she said they get you to do a test 14 days after, so that will make it Valentine’s Day! If so it will either be our best or worst valentines yet lol

Procedure done, more uncomfortable than I thought it was goin to be! In for blood tests on the 14th, lets hope the next 2 weeks go quickly!!!

I'm back to the clinic tomorrow - just a 'back to square one' meeting. Fingers crossed they're still ok with me trying IUI and don't push for IVF. Fingers doubly crossed that there aren't weeks/months of fannying around before treatment, too.

I'm feeling a bit down for no very good reason (sadly, three friends recently had bad news with pregnancies, and a forum I'm in has a very necessary but very depressing current thread about people's experiences of things going wrong). So please tell me to stop moping!

Quick question for anyone who has had IUI, did any of you feel anything after? I have a slight pain in my side I dunno if its just me overthinking!

In all my IUI's I had some pain around my ovaries (think it was probably related yo ovulation). On my 3rd IUI I had cramping and spotting the day after. They had trouble with the catheter on that round so think it was linked to that.

I am sure what you are feeling is normal (as long as it's not too painful). If you are concerned then I would recommend that you phone the clinic as they will be able to put your mind at ease. I think you feel things on the tww that you wouldn't normally feel because you are hyper-aware of what might be happening.
