Thanks Bear :) slept soooooo badly last night, was all worried that lining would be too thick and that af wasn't heavy enough etc, that then made ibs horrible so wasn't the fun-est day but yay for take 2. The lady today was like you ready for round 2....ummmm yep :) got v v v busy 2 weeks of work as one lady is off so that'll make it fly by. Not long till a week off for me thank goodness :)

Yeah I worry before every scan, will lining be thin enough then will it be thick enough and will the follies grow big enough. I see it as good prep for motherhood where the worrying will take on a whole other level 😜

Exactly!!!! I'm alright in between waiting for the scans it's just the evening &morning before that my stomach turns to a washing machine and I get so nervous. Least I'm mostly ok with the scans now its just the iui I got to work on 🙄 have support counsellor again on 8th so I can see her before iui on the 12th(all being well)

I found the counselling helpful - I really had not considered the possibility of half siblings living in the next door street and so on.

I think in Spain - where my next donors will come from - as it is all anonymous you get less ability to choose on specifics. From what I understand is the clinic matches based on ethnicity.

Throughout all my IUIs it never occurred to me to worry my lining would not be thin enough!!! Not sure why as I worried about everything else!!!

I feel so full of cold my nose is so red & sore despite the balms I have been applying. Thank God I have been able to take drugs!!! Over the past two years I have had so many colds (well a couple) where all I have allowed myself is paracetamol as TTC.

I think because this af has been barely there I was so worried I wouldn't have shed enough lining but the nurse said it was likely the norethisterone just stopped the lining building up as much. I just get so worried they'll say I can't do the cycle

Well thats me had my official bfn from the clinic, no surprise really and the nurse was lovely. Says they will review my file on Tuesday and send out a letter telling me if they are going to change anything for next time. Says the best thing I can do is diet, exervise and enjoy my holiday.

Gonna be a long 2 months

Greetings, ladies, so I'm officially in my second TWOT. I had my IUI yesterday afternoon. I'm very happy I had had such a great experience for my first try, because this second was so.freaking.painful. I had a different nurse, I'm sure she does it differently, so that's why it hurt more. But she was very nice and understanding and comforting, I was very embarrassed and still am. I just wasn't ready for this kind of pain. Well, I'll know better now.
So far I think I'm in a good place - clinic has some new donors that I like very much, so if this one is a bfn I will as the try next month with a new one. And I will read sth on breathing techniques to manage the pain.

Congratulations paisley sorry it hurt so bad this time I wonder what was different. The first time was really uncomfortable for me whne they stretched the speculum but this last time wasn't too bad.

Awe paisley certainly get that, my first one was horrificly painful and really made me feel 😔, when do you have to travel home? Congratulations though tww yayyy!! I should be having my iui on 12th July so you should be getting your result as I start. What's your otd?

pickle , my OTD is 13/7 but my af is scheduled for 11/7. We'll see.
Was the question about going home for me? I came back from CPH yesterday evening. It was a looooong day.

What hurt? The speculum? I have had very painful IUIs too - it really does depend on who is messing with your fanjo!

Got my appointment date today, yay! Just waiting for the letter to confirm. Appointment is in 3 weeks time and falls on a non working day which is great as I don't have to think about what to tell my boss.

What should progesterone level be juney?

Just saw my cousin - the one that has twins through IVF - she is stressed and exhausted... part time job, twin girls and a full house gutting and reconstruction do not make for an easy life!

I know quiet day on here button..... my only news for day was I had to do my suprecur injection whilst sitting on the loo at a Chinese restaurant-not exactly ideal but did the trick and at least suprecur involves no mixing just drawing up the medicine so could have been worse 😬

pickle I think anything over 30 means ovulation has occurred so that's good news.

Feel a bit negative Nancy over here though I'm 9/10dpo and foolishly did a test which was obviously BFN. Grr!

Don't be too down 9/10dpo is way to early, try and leave a day or 2. When is af due? Keeping everything crossed for you juney and all others in twot

I used to belong to a thread where they would have shouted "Hooyah!!" at you for this type of naughty behaviour

Haha it's so hard when they send loads of cheapies with the OPK sticks!!

AF is due Thursday I think. Periods vary from 27-30 days. Need someone to smack the sticks out of my hands.
