God I REALLY fancy my sister in law

Tooembarrasedtousemyrealname · 29/12/2007 19:49

She is about 6 years younger than my DW and very good looking indeed, but has never really had a serious boyfriend and I think she is a tad jealous of her sister (DW and I are hand in glove).

I would NEVER do anything, but I can't help fantasising about her. She once injured her knee and DW suggested I massage it - with DW in the room - I obliged but when my SIL asked me to move my hand in a Northerly direction to massage her quads, I felt a bit hot under the collar TBH and broke off.

This is not an "am I normal" or "am I being unreasonable" thread, because (a) I know it's normal, and (b) it won't be unreasonable unless (to quote J.L. Picard) I make it so.

Just wanted to share...

yes, I admit it to my DH. He's fine with me and Johnny (depp)

And totally accepts that he can watch if Kylie comes a calling.

I don't have a BIl

DavidTennantsMistress · 29/12/2007 20:11

yes I ahve a top 10 shag list (well did when with H) no 1 was david tennant no 2 was brad pitt! lol.

his brother did try saying somehting when H & I first lived together but soon got the big thumbs down! lol. it's not the done thing.

BrieVinDeAlkaSeltzer · 29/12/2007 20:12

Happy Daddy is that you ????

Snaf · 29/12/2007 20:13

'Scuse me if I'm being ignorant and naive and prudish and all but...isn't there a big difference between fantasising about e.g: Johnny Depp/Nigella Lawson and fantasising about your wife's sister?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 29/12/2007 20:15

No harm in fantasising as long as it stays that way

brusselbeansprouts · 29/12/2007 20:15

Knowing that I wouldn't kick Colin Firth out of bed is not the same as fancying someone I am related to!!!

holidaywonk · 29/12/2007 20:17

LOL at Brie... but also a bit ... what if it is? The swine.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 29/12/2007 20:19

Well, I quite like my BIL, but I wouldnt shag him. In fact, I'm not the only SIL he has that has expressed a liking for him

morningpaper · 29/12/2007 20:27

I don't particularly fancy any family members

But I fancy EVERYONE I work with

Everyone I meet really

Fantasising is fine unless you actually shout out the wrong person's name mid-coitus

BigGitDad · 29/12/2007 20:28

Could be worse, you could really fancy your BIL!! Mind you I can't see you massaging his knee

fireflyfairy2 · 29/12/2007 20:29

I would quite like 3 of my BIL's mixed together.... 1 would do all the housework as he never has a hoover out of his hand! The other would cook as he is amaing at it! The other would massage my ego & laugh at my jokes... as he has known me since I was 7 & knows all the right things to say & do to make me tick

Ooohhhhhhh that'd be my ideal man there....with the looks & sex appeal of my very own, dear, DH

CharlieAndLolasMummy · 29/12/2007 20:33

oh christ re the sil being no 1 fantasy

my SIL looks INCREDIBLY like me

eeew.

BigGitDad · 29/12/2007 20:40

I don't have a SIL, am I missing out here?

whispywhisp · 29/12/2007 20:43

I feel incredibly sorry for your wife, imo, especially with reference to your post of 19:56 re the sex with DW. What a bloody awful insult.

fireflyfairy2 · 29/12/2007 20:44

Do you have none at all?

My dh only has my 4 sisters', he has no brothers' therefore no SILs on his own side.

I have just asked him, if pushed, which one of my sisters he prefers... his answer.. "I never really thought about it.. why?"

BigGitDad · 29/12/2007 20:48

very sensible answer if you ask me

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 29/12/2007 20:48

lol morning paper; i quite fancied you too

whispywhisp · 29/12/2007 20:52

It's no wonder you are 'too embarrassed to use your real name' tooembarrassedtousemyrealname.....

Elizabetth · 29/12/2007 20:58

I'm with you whispywhisp. If the SIL came on here and announced she flirted with her sister's husband and fantasised about him, she'd be tarred and feathered and run off Mumsnet.

It's creepy, and it's creepy to boast about.

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 29/12/2007 21:02

I'd be most surprised if DH fancied his SIL as I have the entire family nork-allowance for 4 generations of women. And he is a man of simple taste.

My BILs do nothing for me either. Nor the milkman. The postman is a postwoman. We don't even have a paper boy.

Actually, the farrier isn't bad.

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 29/12/2007 21:02

My EX BIL stroked his hand down my spine and said "what a nice and strong back" ....

I am the 13 year younger "pretty sister". Did I find the attention exhilirating? Hell no. SIL's are soooo out of bounds. You are Soooo out of order.

frostythesnowmum · 29/12/2007 21:05

What a pathetic post - there really is no need to share and the fact you have done makes me think you are rather sad

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 29/12/2007 21:06

Eurgh Quint - unrequested stroking is toe-curlingly foul. Did you leave him in no uncertain terms?

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 29/12/2007 21:07

No Duchesse, that was my BIL stroking ME. My sister was gobsmacked. They are not married anymore, for many reasons.

fireflyfairy2 · 29/12/2007 21:07

He has said he would never do anything about it.. & often the grass seems greener on the other side.

One of my BIL said I was a crabit wee bitch, on a recent night out, and my other one (who has known me since I was 7) said that I was always pleasant, smiling & generally happy.... actually the one who said I was a crabit bitch was probably nearer the mark.. so I guess people don't know you as well as they think they do...

My betting is that the SIL has some manky habits that you don't know about... like sniffing the crotch of her leggings to decide if they need washed....
