I really wish I'd kept a list of every one as it'd be really fascinating to chart my musical education !
First thing I saw was probably Elton John along with The Beach Boys, Chaka Khan,Beach Boys and others at Wembley Stadium - taken by my cousin probably back in 1975...
then,in no particular order ...
Loudon Wainwright 111 at Cambridge Folk Festival, Cheap Trick, The Tourists, The Clash (several times),Toots and the Maytals, Pablo Black, Magazine, Throbbing Gristle, The Slits,The Raincoats, Spizz Energi (or one of the variants), Bow Wow Wow, Crowded House, Jane Siberry, Pete Townshend, Aswad,The Rezillos, the Undertones, Laurie Anderson, Stereolab,Lemon Jelly.......and my mind has gone blank...some were truly fab experiences !

One of the most surreal gigs was for Moloko I was only recently dating a bloke who asked me if I wanted to go to a festival type gig, turns out Moloko is his sister Roisin Murphy. Dumped him soon after he was a plonker!

Ah you hit the nail on the head Paula! One of my main reasons for going was because my darling mum, now sadly passed 8 years last week to be precise had always loved them. So it was quite an emotional night for me tbh but fab nonetheless!

paulaplumpbottom · 23/05/2007 23:55

My parents are responsible for my love of them as well. My Mom was incrediable jealous.Sorry about your mom. I bet she was there tapping away with you

paulaplumpbottom · 23/05/2007 23:57

Did you notice that they didn't make eye contact for the entire concert?

Mhamai · 24/05/2007 00:22

Aw thanks paula yes I did notice that, I also went to one of the Eagles return concerts in 96/7? and it was exactly the same but my overall feeling was that because they were/are true professionals that they still managed to produce a knockout concert.

paulaplumpbottom · 24/05/2007 11:11

at getting to see the Eagles. I have never been able to get tickets
