Ah, thanks Born, that’s very kind. I’m after a thick warm hoodie for Ds so that’s ever so helpful.

Been at in-laws today, and saw BIL (DNephew had a cold so didn’t see him or SIL). We all exchanged birthday presents for recent birthdays, including BILs, but once again BIL and SIL forgot my DS’s recent birthday. He doesn’t need more stuff so that’s not the point, I just feel really pissed off about it. They forgot DD’s first birthday last year too. Just crap. One day my kids will be old /aware enough to notice and they will be hurt.

Anyway, NSD. I’m out a lot this week so logistics /food /spends will be a bit irregular. I’m also in the office 3 days instead of 2.

Mynameisnotthis · 17/11/2019 22:14

Thanks for even more welcomes 🤗
Snuggly we kept all of DDs clothes. Some really lovely stuff. Then got pregnant with DS. I have it all away and now kicking myself as I should have sold it!

I ended up out this afternoon with my mum. Spent £3 😇 went to Mothercare and Primark but only bought Grinch marshmallows. It was a small Primark mind. Haha!

Wolf divorce paperwork does indeed sound shit Flowers. I’m mean I’m sure the situation is shit never mind the shit paperwork on top. Did I say shit enough times??

Mynameisnotthis · 18/11/2019 08:57

I killed the thread Blush

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 10:17

hiya myname :o

Got a “work coach” meeting this afternoon for universal credit. Totally nervous.

Wolfcub · 18/11/2019 10:56

Hope it goes well Laputa and you get a decent assessor

Definitely the right amount of the word shit used Grin

Big smoke today and tomorrow. First house valuation sorted for Wednesday

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 11:36

Thanks. The woman who checked our ID etc was lovely but it isn’t the same person today. I’ve no clue what to expect! It’s a weird situation all round with DH being unable to work now (but he’s also technically my carer now which is why he doesn’t need to do the same interview)

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 18/11/2019 12:56

Sorry ex h is being even more of a dick than usual wolf you do so well keeping it all together.

Welcome newbies

I'm on my lunch break, just got a subway 😶 £4.50 tried their new chilli bread 🤯 nice though!!

Ystd was a nsd, watched telly from 4-10pm!! Anyone with older kids I can really recommend Anne of Green Gables on Netflix, it's kept mine and dds interest and had us laughing and crying at times.

I'm too scared to look at my bank account, this month is so shit.

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 14:55

£44 at drs. Got an increase on my meds and have been referred to a therapist. Have had a few arguments with dh this weekend over various things but my anxiety is one of them. So I’m going to try and talk it out with someone else and see if I can establish why.

WreckTangled · 18/11/2019 14:59

Well done em hopefully you're not waiting long. Dh and I have been arguing a fair bit recently mainly because I'm grumpy and fed up.

Nsd today.

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 15:32

Thanks wteck dr said general wait time for a referral is 18months which is shocking. I’ve got insurance so should be able to see someone before Christmas. Hopefully within 3 weeks.

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 17:53

Well done em Thanks do you know what type of therapist?

Meeting at the job centre was ok. Turns out I don’t really need to do much at the moment as Cagletini is under 3. We just talked about confidence building and well being and all that stuff.

northender · 18/11/2019 18:10

Sounds like a good outcome for now lap
Hope you get something sorted sooner than 18 months em
Wolf the sooner the divorce is sorted the better by the sound of it.
Starting to feel better although I went in to work this morning & only lasted until lunchtime. Still coughing & feel so tired now.
Going to do a variation on spaghetti carbonara for tea, then it'll be an evening of feeling inadequate watching Only Connect and University Challenge!

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 18:15

Ha, DH was super smug last week at the pub (he goes with his older kids to the quiz) as Only Connect was on in the background and one of the questions started Roasted fox, Scrambled snake etc... they were all amazed he got it. #dadlife

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 19:25

lap no idea. Other than “psychotherapist” drs going to refer me to her choice (I asked for recommendations). She said all the ones she’d recomment deal with anxiety and depression issues, as well as relationship family and general life issues.

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 19:27

Recommend. Ffs. Catface jumped on my laplaplap.

Gym this evening.

And comforting veggie pasta bake with cheeeeeeeessssssy sauce. #fuckyouveganismilovecheese

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 19:28

HAha lap I got that q right!!! I’m getting quite good at only connect.

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 19:33

That sounds good em :) if anyone does ACT I highly recommend that type (acceptance commitment therapy. Sounds all hippy but it’s awesome and working much better for me than CBT ever did).

ememem84 · 18/11/2019 19:40

I’ll bear it in mind lap therapy for me is a difficult one. I’m a massive advocate of it. But it’s never been “for me” my mum and dad see it as a weakness. so I won’t be telling them about it

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 19:44

Oh ugh. So much stigma about mental health stuff :(

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/11/2019 19:56

Great you are getting some more help em.
Sounds positive lap.
I will post the parcel Wednesday wolf as in traveling tomorrow too. Q was too big today and i had other stuff to get.

Plancina · 18/11/2019 20:21

I got my referral - 28th November... they acknowledge this is outside the 2 week period but they say there’s a massive backlog and it’s the first free appointment possible. Am really annoyed and upset. What’s the point of saying it has to be within two weeks and then not doing it?!
Grrrrr!

WreckTangled · 18/11/2019 20:32

That's awful plan I've not heard of that ever happening round here so I'm not sure what (if anything) you can do.

LivingInLaputa · 18/11/2019 20:46

That’s shit plan sorry :( really hope the next 9 days go quickly
