Shopping done...£130 this week, but we needed laundry powder, dishwasher tabs, loo rolls, stuff I buy huge packs of, but only buy once every couple of months.

Otherwise £33 in Dunelm and £20 in Hobbycraft.

And £40 fuel, and a scratch card.

Girliefriendlikescake · 02/03/2019 14:38

Busy morning, dd enjoyed riding and we popped to a discount type garden/home place afterwards. Spent £30 but got a lot for that, have bought lots of seeds some of which I will start sowing this wend (sweet peas, sunflowers) also bought some primroses, grass seed, bird seed, hamster stuff, a gift and some chocolate!

Dd has a friend round now and they're sorting the new hamster 🐹 out.

I'm getting out in the garden before the weather turns ☔️

ememem84 · 02/03/2019 15:11

Eventful riding lesson. Did some jumps. The pony decided twice at the last minute to stop And refuse the jump. Then when I encouraged her with the stick she kicked her back legs up.

ememem84 · 02/03/2019 15:12

But £30 spend riding and then came home. Bil was here with Fil. Fil told me off for riding...

We’ve been for a walk round the lanes and took ds to see the baby cows. Poor Bil is absolutely shattered. But needs to stay awake until at least 830 to combat the jet lag.

Wolfcub · 02/03/2019 16:56

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/03/2019 17:04

What's in the class pack wolf?

I took the carving fork to my belt and added 2 more holes save buying new ones

WreckTangled · 02/03/2019 17:04

Just spotted dd reading my messages on the iPad. So now she knows about her birthday surprise to see the cursed child and the hotel etc. I could cry. She hasn't said anything but I was really looking forward to surprising her with it Sad

Wolfcub · 02/03/2019 17:21

Life that’s 10 standard (no extra equipment classes) a 70p saving per class

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 02/03/2019 17:23

Actually she might not have seen those messages. Still annoyed with her though 🙄

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/03/2019 18:14

Ah rubbish wreck hope she didn't see.
Is that for Pilates wolf? Good for you spending on you.
£17 Chinese.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 02/03/2019 18:22

Evening all.
Sorry I haven't been posting, but needed some screen free time.

Thank you to north and unescorted for the kind messages.

Girlie and wreck hope your DCs are doing better now.
Sea, sorry about the car.
Ggreen, that's fantastic news about ds2 pip!

Girliefriendlikescake · 02/03/2019 20:12

Rubbish wreck my friend had something similar happen, kids and technology is such a mine field!

Nice afternoon here, dd had fun with her friend and we had a nice dinner of salmon, home made chips and veg with home made chocolate muffins for pudding.

Dds friend is a lovely girl and they've been mates since reception, go to different secondaries now but still catch up quite often.

Popped to coop and got some yellow label bargains, 3 loaves of bread for 60p!! Also milk and some other bits, £3.50 total spent.

Thatsnotmybaby · 02/03/2019 20:27

Spends yesterday:
£19 lunch
£6 soft play

Spends today:
£19 supermarket (just a top up shop as I really don't need a full shop this week; I have too much food in the house. I might try to do this semi regularly as a way to use up stocks a little).

@ChristmasSeacow A weekend a year just for you and DH sounds like a good thing to aim for; it's so good to get a proper break and I think when you are used to having so little time to yourself with young DC, even 24/48 hours with just you to think about, feels like such a lovely long break.

Wolfcub · 02/03/2019 21:11

I suspect I am going to be feeling f agile tomorrow. I feel fragile now and I haven’t finished drinking yet.

OP posts:
Cagliostro · 02/03/2019 21:52

DD’s ears done. Also the lady said she reckons she can repierce my ears easily so I’ll just have to pay for the actual earrings. It’s not the highest priority however I’m thinking of using my personal spends for it. As a sort of self care thing. For a long time even putting earrings in has felt like too much to bother with (hence them closing).

Got a couple of piano pupils lined up already, and also made contact with the author I did editing for before, and she’s nearly finished the first bit of her next book. Agreed on the same fee as last time. Yay! I am really looking forward to using my brain for something other than home ed TBH.

AdoraBell · 02/03/2019 22:19

My shopping was £120 this week Lonely, we needed vino Blush

Oops Sneaky

Having a good time Wolf ?

Hope you told him to fuck off em

Ah crap Wreck 🤞 she didn’t actually see the messages.

Glad DD had a good time with friend Girlie

DD2 started a partime job today 👍

Justanothermile · 03/03/2019 07:08

Was probably worth it though wolf.😁

seacow/life the car is a Countryman (Mini). It's so funky and fun! I did love my old car, and it never let me down at all but we simply didn't need a big 4x4 (no more horses, trips down to a muddy farm etc) anymore.

Hope you're okay curvy. Understand needing to step anyway.

You're evening sounds lovely lonely.

Spends yesterday
£4 coffees for a friend and myself at a spa day (pre paid)
£40 meal out for myself and Dd at a Turkish restaurant.

We went for afternoon tea after our spa morning, everything in the photo below is vegan. Homemade soup in the little pot!

Justanothermile · 03/03/2019 07:10
