I started building my tower PC today. I forgot to buy a processor fan so it's not quite finished. Lots of nice wires and shiny bits though.

AutumnLeaves12 · 24/11/2018 06:51

LOL! Happier No, I'm afraid horn humour does it for me every time. There's going to be a lot in this house too, since we have our own horn section now. ROFL!

The only musical phenomenon that I find funnier than a gigantic horn is an organ performance. That's terribly rude but I'm going to shut my eyes and press post anyway

SnugglySnerd · 24/11/2018 07:11

Nsd planned today but getting flooring measured for the kitchen £27.99 per sqm. Cries.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2018 08:24

Ooh what flooring did you choose?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 24/11/2018 08:41

autumn 😂

The day of the party is finally here, am not feeling much atm other than a bit blughhh thanks to AF 😕 am sure excitement will kick in later though.

Need to pick up a load of French sticks today but otherwise no spends.

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2018 08:45

I've just counted up and bagged my coin stash...£250 Shock and I barely use cash. I haven't spent a 50p or £2 coin (execpt that one at a carpark I'm still cross about) all year. The rest is from change and £14 of 2p's that came in a tin with dp should have known then that was all his worldly goods

So, today I am off to the post office with 8 parcels and a truck load of small change. The saturday queue is going to love me!

Then morrisons, the pound shop (for big christmas bags) and hobbycraft. Might swing into sainsburys too, if the 25% is still on?

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2018 08:47

It’s on till Monday.

ememem84 · 24/11/2018 08:53

Today

£30 riding.

Have to go to the post office and pick up some parcels and boots to collect an order.

lonely I’ve got a jar of change - almost counted it up and paid it in the other day but will wait until the end of the year. At the last count it had around £60.

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2018 08:56

Thanks fluff ds needs a christmas 'top' and will get my nephews unallowed character clothes they really only wear boden or ralph lauren my sister and I do really good line in PA presents.

em it's such a fun way to save without saving. Three giant smarties tubes, thanks @laska for the idea, it really works! (And we miss you, come back!).

Wolfcub · 24/11/2018 09:06

Morning all. My cold is in full swing. I feel shocking. Ds decided to get up before six too bleirgh

Happier enjoy your shopping trip

Going to take ds for contact, post parcel for niece and then sit on the sofa and feel sorry for myself. We are supposed to be going to the pub with friends for a pint later, right now I don’t feel like it but hopefully will perk up

Girlie have a wonderful party

Lonely that’s a fab change stash

Thinking of Cag and Laska and Wreck and Quite and all our absent frugaleers

Life I hope the flooring is gorgeous

Lovemaltesers · 24/11/2018 09:59

autumn you are hilarious Grin

My new oven has been and gone. It doesn't fit 😢 DP ordered it so he can sort it with customer services. I think I did well not to cry in front of the delivery drivers (DP was out at the supermarket)

Trying to catch up on all the chores at home which have been neglected the last few days.

Lovemaltesers · 24/11/2018 10:00

Ooooh I'd love to have that change stash lonely

ememem84 · 24/11/2018 10:47

Ds was up before 6 too. He’s still full of beans. I’m flagging.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2018 12:09

It's a kardean one entry level price. Which is similar to what I have. Will post a photo in a bit. Not frugal but this one has only lasted 2 years and was cheaper.
It will either be a selling point in a couple of years or stand up to tennant wear.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2018 14:08

£10 riding,£5 footy

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2018 14:20

I have done an epic shopping trip, paid in all my cash, and bar a couple of teeny presents, am pretty much done! And about half wrapped last night too.

I spent a whopping £160 in Morrisons, but that was a lot of meat, 2 bottles of plonk for my parents, several presents and christmas eve food. I am feeling reasonably festive.

Got home to about 6 amazon boxes, one was full of crisps! They were ordered yesterday.

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2018 14:21

Oh life that is not a messy kitchen. Just saying Grin

Wolfcub · 24/11/2018 14:28

Lonely I’m with you on that. Definitely not messy Life

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2018 14:42

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2018 14:43
