I’m getting up. But only because I need to pee.

Ds has just woke up and is shaking his jingly bunny around. I need to sneak to the bathroom and make sure he doesn’t see me otherwise he’ll cry whilst I’m peeing. Haha.

Then tea and breakfast.

LonelyOversharer · 03/11/2018 08:00

Oh, it's one of those mn days. My post just vanished too.

Am up too. Kettle just boiled. Which is good as this is what I have to deal with...dp thinks this is fine, as it is all clean. But it is my living room floor (all of it). Sigh.

Morning all. Awake since 3am. Grr bloody stupid hip.

Taking ds to his activity and will then make a beef stew for the freezer and some stuffing for later. Also have a mountain of ironing but not feeling like doing it at all

Back to work on Monday and I do not want to go

Aiming for a nsd as half term has been spendier than anticipated. Need to take ds to spend some of his own money on a new piece of sports equipment which he destroyed

Girlie Yes that’s very cheap.

Quite The cat will pinch it off you, ours was trying to sleep on mine in the summer when it was 26c inside. He’s obsessed with it.

That laundry pile is epic.

QuiteFabULousDahling · 03/11/2018 08:19

I suspect I will end up looking like a cat tower with them piled on me Fluffy

Why has DP just dumped all that laundry Lonely
Strict rules here-washed,dried and folded .
DH does his own now though .

Lovemaltesers · 03/11/2018 08:29

Shock lonely. What is he thinking?!

Sorry to hear about ddog mammy

Can't keep up with the thread at the moment. DP is off to collect his new car today Smile

Otherwise just food and bills being paid for here. No time to shop Sad

Thatsnotmybookworm · 03/11/2018 08:42

Have a great weekend everyone. Have some friends coming over to play with their DC later; quiet day besides that hopefully, getting weekend chores done.

Yesterday's spends:
£55 supermarket delivery
£2 work canteen

Cagliostro · 03/11/2018 08:56

Aww em 😍 he has changed so much since the last photo, so grown up! So cute 😍

Blimey lonely I find clean washing sometimes piles up a bit (less so now the Caglets are entirely responsible for their own laundry) but that is extreme 😭 he is putting it away yes???

Gum still sore. I have given in and started using Corsodyl last night as it specifically says for healing after surgery 😕 but will continue salt rinse as well. And am continuing ibuprofen. Supposedly last appt on Monday.

Feeling rather sorry for myself this morning, let’s just say it seems last month’s horrible first post birth period (axe murderer period as I think wolf called it) was not a one off 😖😡 hopefully it won’t get quite as bad but I’m quite scared to leave the house and I have to later as Caglets are at a party and DH will be at work before pick up 🤦‍♀️

AutumnLeaves12 · 03/11/2018 08:58

I just tried to do a QualityParentingActivity with ds (smashing our old wii console with a hammer to look inside). I was just getting really into the smashing when I looked up and huge spider was sitting on ds's shoulder walking towards his neck.

I would like to say that I reacted in a calm and sensible manner, gently removing the spider with my hands, while chatting to it. But I did not.

I think my hair is still standing on end. Ds is unphased.

Em I love your ninja progress to the loo. I totally get that.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/11/2018 09:06

Morning all.
Have just caught up, been super busy here.

Cag that is so lovely of your df.
Sea sorry you and dd are poorly, but very glad to hear you are back on the mend.
mammy so sorry to her about your ddog Flowers

I had my coil removed yesterday and a new one put in, and the pain was pretty intense, it's funny how your brain makes you forget.
Spends yesterday £53 shopping.
Have a good day everyone.

Unescorted · 03/11/2018 09:07

lonely our washing pile looks like that too, complete with rim and other assorted bike bits. This is why it was essential to have a separate laundry.
I am holiday for a week so am having a v. Idle lie in. I may get up in a bit to have more tea.

ememem84 · 03/11/2018 09:40

cag he’s changing every day. It’s crazy how much he doesn’t look like a baby any more. Proper little boy now.

autumn stealth ninja peeing is where it’s at at present. Ds when awake and in his cot is like the eye of Sauron. He sees you.

Beautiful sunny day here. Have opened all blinds and the sun is streaming in showing up the dust

Am showered and dressed now. Towels in the tumble drier. Ours is a condenser one and I didn’t realise I had to empty the water trap every time.

Today’s jobs are:

Empty dishwasher and reload
Clean bathroom
And tackle the spare room. We dumped the bags we left at dparents in there so I have to unpack them and sort. I suspect half will go to charity shop.

WereWolfcub · 03/11/2018 09:43

Stew is bubbling, stuffing is done, dishwasher has been unloaded and reloaded. I’ve had a cuppa an my rascal and need to wash the kitchen floor before i pick ds up. I’ve akso hung his wet washing up as he abandoned it in the machine. He needs to wash school shirts today otherwise he will be most embarrassed at school on Monday.

SneakyGremlins · 03/11/2018 09:47

I miss wearing a onesie to school.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/11/2018 09:57

If there a sink in the garage you can connect a tumble drier to it so it continuously drains Em. He does look like a little boy now, so beautiful though. Like the kitchen!.

Free tinned cocktails on checkout smart in Tesco. Sometimes there on 3 for 2 so you’d get all free if they are.

Have you got any maternity pads Cag? There’s a tablet the gp can prescribe for heavy bleeds. They use it for heavy blood loss from trauma in hospitals.

I thought I bled a lot till I got my menstrual cup and realised I’m smack on 15ml per day.

Sneaky www.ceoemail.com If you email your banks ceo your more likely to get a favourable result. I contacted Lloyd’s when they didn’t shut my old business account down properly and I was charged fees. I got a refund on fees and £100 compo.

Cagliostro · 03/11/2018 10:15

I’ve got a GP appt on Tuesday fluffy so will ask then.

House to myself as they’ve all gone off to ballroom then a party, but I’ll have to meet DH to get the baby off him then pick up the Caglets from said party. Will prob grab lunch with him if time. Maybe then we can discuss money/house stuff. In the meantime I’m off to catch up with ITV player. So many series I want to watch ATM.

ememem84 · 03/11/2018 10:26

We have a drain in the garage. So dh’s plan is to hook dryer up to said drain. Maybe next weekend.

He’s just put washing line up. And my washing is outside.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/11/2018 10:27

Tranexamic acid.

LonelyOversharer · 03/11/2018 10:28

cag you definately need to get seen, before you get anemic. If you can bear a tenny (it is teeny) bit of hormone, a mirena might be an idea. Plus they are fit and forget. And no more babies. I don't bleed at all now vs. a scary murder scene post ds. I also am due a smear and a removal/refit. Wonder why I'm putting off making the appt??

Annoyingly I need to shop. All branded stuff I could buy from morrisons for the same money as I'll spend in asda, but the coupons don't start until monday.

Laundry mountain is conquered. Seven very full baskets, a pile of towels and socks paired. Thats an hour and a half I'll never see again. Dp does retrieval, wash, spin and dry, then fails. It was more the entire floor space being used that made me sigh, as if he sorts dd1,2 and myself basically get each others clothes. And I kind of get that checking the sizes in 30 pairs of ladies pants would be grim, whereas I can tell by the patterns who gets what. Plus he balls up socks wrong

em you have a very handsome little boy there.

ememem84 · 03/11/2018 10:56

Spare room sort of sorted. Have charity shopped a lot. (Or will take later). Have sorted a bag for dh’s colleague. She’s pregnant and asked if we had any newborn stuff (including steriliser...) so small bottles, streakiest bottle warmer, keep warm bottle pouches and a couple of ds’ newborn jumpers sorted for her.

DVDs have been packed away into charity shop bag. We have no DVD player.

Washing sorted (nowhere near as bad as lonely’s laundry mountain.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/11/2018 11:00

She wants a free steriliser? You might want another baby. Surely free sterilisers come from parents with 2 or 3 kids.

ememem84 · 03/11/2018 11:06

Oh no she’s going to give dh money for it. They agreed £50.

Yes we might. But. Im not wanting it yet. And I know it’s unfrugal. But we can buy another one. I said to dh the other day that the stress and anxiety I feel at the moment puts me off having another so I’d rather get rid of the stuff we have instead of keep it just in case. He’s keen for another but at the moment I just don’t want to be pregnant again.

ememem84 · 03/11/2018 11:07

I have kept some of ds’ clothes my faves from the last few sizes and the more neutral stuff. So if we do have another... I had up until last week also kept a load of my maternity clothes. But I charity shopped them.
