Girlie I don't know much about ortho etc but I hope you can get it sorted

TakeItSlow · 31/08/2018 19:00

Me too Snuggly so frantic trying to get everything back up to date.

Wolfcub · 31/08/2018 19:01

I did mean you Wreck. I remember the shorts picture you posted in the garden, you have lovely legs

WreckTangled · 31/08/2018 19:09

Ooo wolf BlushGrin** i have very fat knees!

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:14

I thought cats and boots lived in the channel islands but then she doesn't wait for maintenance.

I then thought she might live over the hill from me but I'm not sure she has cats. Other pets yes but not cats. Or have I forgotten.

Hmmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:15

You do not wreck. You have lovely legs

WreckTangled · 31/08/2018 19:23

Someone who's lonely isn't it?! Wink

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 31/08/2018 19:26

Does catsandboots know one of you irl?
I haven't been on here long enough to know if any of you know each other.

LonelyOversharer · 31/08/2018 19:29

life and girlie I'm sending you both big squeezy hugs. Hoping you both get sorted soon.

My house must have valued ok, as the bank guy rang at lunchtime, we're on. So I quickly gobbled the frog and actually phoned the solicitor. Lots of forms to do and email back to them.

£20 sainsburys on bacon and bread etc for tea, dd1 had a whole pack of king prawns. It's a good job I like her.
Paid the garage £100. I now only owe them £260, so two weeks to go! Original bill was just over a grand.

I also ordered 2 packs of plus size school shirts for dd2, so I could get her 13-14 instead of 17-18 not fitting. Her ribcage is 36" she is going to be very sturdy, and is only just touching puberty so heaven only knows what we'll do when there's breasts too. And two pairs of slim fit boy trousers. Ds is at the other end of the scale. £50. Pick up monday from M&S.

Dd2 is 12 and her hands are bigger than mine! Dd1 has tiny hands. Like squeeny, but she's almost as tall as me now. I have a feeling dd2 will be the tallest of us all. It's quite exciting watching and waiting as they grow into adult sized people.

Sold four more things on ebay, I think my pricing was very keen, as most of what I listed last week has gone. Which is good.

We still find the odd ball pit ball in the garden. I only ever had the 3 bags from elc, but they ended up everywhere.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:32

No curvy we don't know each other irl. We have just been here for ages.

Sea. I no longer work near Morrison's but I'm happy to drop by and post to you. I pad it to get to Aldi.

Not lonely then.

Justanothermile · 31/08/2018 19:33

It's the one thing I've never liked about to wrecked, your damn kneesGrin

Not surprised you are busy snuggly, three small DC and a demanding job.

Oh life, that's crap. Work shouldn't make you cry. There should be testing days, boring days, manic days, complicated days and mediocre days but not ones that make you cry. Because of work itself anyway. Not knowing your industry I'm at a loss to know what to suggest.

I'm still none the wiser re the NC.

seacow, I think I overdid my cookies by just a couple of minutes. I like a gooey cookie, these verge into biscuits. But the dc won't care anyway.

I'll let you know about the instant pot. I've joined all the Facebook groups for recipes. It's scaring me at present. I used the SC feature tonight for my jackfruit 'pulled pork' alternative, it's similar to my Morphy Richards, on the hot side for a SC, so reduce times accordingly.

My rice cooker had broken, so that was my justification.....Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:33

Good news about the house lonely

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 31/08/2018 19:34

Can someone explain the frog references to me please?
Does catsandboots know cag irl?

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:35

It's ok jam no suggestions needed. I'm civil service.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:36

Someone said when they do something difficult and they don't want to do they "swallow a frog" ie be brave and just do it.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 31/08/2018 19:38

Ooh thanks life, I like that!

LonelyOversharer · 31/08/2018 19:38

Thanks life such a relief. I have to sort dp out next. He still owes a lot (mostly overdrafts) due to the bike shop. I'm guessing I'll gradually pay it all back. He's very not well at the moment, and firmly has his head in the sand about it all.

I'm not nc-ing anytime soon! Thought it might be cags pal?

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:40

Boom yes I think you have it quite I know who the NC is now.

Meant to say I like the mantra, if you don't use it why do you have it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2018 19:43

Yes lonely I think you are right.
Sorry to hear about do, head or body? That probably isn't the right way to ask but I hope you know my intention is good.
Once you are sorted then yes you can help him. Baby steps.

LonelyOversharer · 31/08/2018 19:54

Sadly both life Sad he's just started new ad's, and is feeling weird. I'm pleased as I think he really needs them. Body wise we're waiting on an appt for new scans. He can barely sleep for the electrocuting nerve pain, even with morphine. But we just had a positive "here's what we are going to do for right now" conversation, and he's gone to wash his bike!

TakeItSlow · 31/08/2018 19:56

Gosh that's awful lonely. I'm sorry to hear that. Poor fella. Flowers

WreckTangled · 31/08/2018 20:04

Wow sorry for those struggling ThanksThanks

Ah yes cag's friend because cag went to Pizza Hut and bowling for her ds' birthday.

I've been off sertraline for a week now and I'm feeling good. A year ago I was too scared to come off of them but I'm so pleased I waited until I was ready and did it. My dr said Two years is a pretty normal amount of time to be on them.

TakeItSlow · 31/08/2018 20:06

That's brilliant Wreck. Well done. Smile Was that for PND so something like that?

TakeItSlow · 31/08/2018 20:06

or something I mean

WreckTangled · 31/08/2018 20:07

No it was anxiety but it all started happening when dd started school. I really struggled with thinking all the other mums hated me and stuff Blush
