Cag great news about piano lessons. I hope you can fit it all in.
£60 diesel £9 Starbucks
Making steak for lunch then I think we will have a movie afternoon again. I’m shattered and my face is pounding
I need to iron ds’s uniform for tomorrow and I am trying to encourage him to revisit part of his homework that I feel he has made a particularly bad job of. I’m not pushing it though I’ve had enough fights for one lifetime already this week

I expect that kind of thing varies though by area, leader etc lonely so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Thank you for printing advice. What I would like to do is print on a t-shirt which I remember doing at school. The screen thing was like an old pair of tights. DD wants to design a ‘uniform’ (one of the only aspects of school life that she misses) with a logo. Also wants a “too cool for school” tee. We could hand paint of course but thought some kind of process would make a fun project.

Or Lino type printing which I also enjoyed but then I’m not sure the Caglets would be able to carve it themselves.

Ooh em! Thank you that is so lovely 😍 she loves her dinosaur toys and books as well. 💐

I’m watching the first shop well for less, with the two sets of twins. OMG so much shouting at the telly.

TBH quite I didn’t really enjoy having people in my house before, I found it stressful trying to tidy up the tiny space, the Caglets would have to be pretty much silent even in their room because otherwise it’d disturb the lesson. But now you can’t even hear them in their rooms so they plus pupil siblings can play freely and there is so much more space for parents to wait as well.

It’s a good point about the full day wearing me out though. It’s definitely mentally tiring, although part of that was the aforementioned stress/anxiety. But either way I’d have to schedule in breaks to allow for people getting in and out, and feeding baby. Some pupils may be fortnightly as well so if I can arrange them to alternate perhaps that would spread the load evenly.

Cag just discovered that The Simpsons started releasing their DVDs again so have conveniently forgotten my nsd ordered series 18. I am unbelievably excited about this Grin

Ahhh!
Have had an epic tidy of the dcs room, mostly ds wardrobe and have found things that should have been put into the charity bags when we were sorting the other week, so have had words, plus be has just thrown all his new school stuff in there, even though he has separate drawers for that!
Bloody kid! He is now sorting it all and I'm popping into the room every 10 minutes to make sure.

I just had a change of username, because even I can't remember my last one. I'm the clarinet enthusiast.

Ooh that’s good born :o we have 1-10 on DVD, and 15 I think. Mostly picked up in Cex.

Steak was yum if a bit over for my taste. Ds enjoyed it and is willing to try it my level of cooked next time. Making Lonely’s flapjack now whilst the oven is warm but my scales are on the blink so I’m eyeballing it!

ememem84 · 09/09/2018 13:47

Lino print?! Eeek. I still have a scar on my thumb from the gouger being gouged in a bit too vigourously....

Have been domesticated today. Sorted ds’ clothes (a few bits on eBay) and have made a apple and blackberry loaf.

Ds had a tuna sandwich for lunch. Ddad was Shock “he can’t have tuna?!” I asked why not when he’d had it loads at Nursery?!

I’ve also done a load of washing and have hung it outside. I love this. Love having outdoors drying clothes. Yay.

Ds is napping now. As is dh.

I’m eBaying.

Wolfcub · 09/09/2018 14:02

Mmm flapjack is out of the oven, scored with the pizza wheel and cooling. It smells delicious.
I’m reading Heartburn. Ds is sulking upstairs for some unspecified reason.
I need to buy ds a water bladder for cycling. He has a bag already apparently. Can anyone recommend a decent buy inexpensive one?

ememem84 · 09/09/2018 14:55

Apple and blackberry loaf is a winner. Thanks Waitrose magazine!!!

Afternoon.

I've been out all day so missed the discussions...

I'll catch up now, but I'm £25 up. I won my age group at the half marathon I ran today. I spent so many years not being able to run due to my back, and I never thought I'd get back to the level I ran at before. I'm close to it now. Means a lot, running was my life outside my family.

Sorry, don't mean that to sound smug. Or bragging. I'm buzzing though!!

And knackered, made the dc walk the dogs, clean the chickens and make tea, I'm watching Escape to the Country. Grin
