I don’t have a dryer so I can’t test it out. I’d be worried it’d set the clothes alight.

QuiteCleanBandit · 22/03/2018 19:22

Oh gosh thats true !
These are lovely woolly balls Smile

darkriver198868 · 22/03/2018 19:22

Dont think I will have enough by the day I have to move out.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/03/2018 19:27

Bugger, Have you got a deposit tied up in your current accommodation?

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/03/2018 19:31

I used to sniff ddogs feet. Mm warm dog smell.

Loveabaconsandwich · 22/03/2018 19:37

DSil had baby niece about midday. 6lb2. All good as far as I know but i’m sure I will get the debrief at some point Grin . I think it is important to let new mums talk through the birth if they want to. Baby is still to be named but she has told me the two options 💕

£75 in hairdressers. Cut was over due, and included some lovely smelling serum which I love which was £35

I am officially exhausted, have toothache and sore throat so going to bed.

Loveabaconsandwich · 22/03/2018 19:38

dark how much do you need to save and by when?

QuiteCleanBandit · 22/03/2018 19:44

Just popping in really. I am doing ok but DH and I are having a really stressful time of things with DGuineaPig, the one that was recently unwell with a dental issue. Turns out the vets basically missed what the big problem is for awhile and it's a serious, life-threatening dental problem. They weren't able to fix it properly only gave us a very drastic option that would have left him with poor quality of life, or PTS. Luckily they did refer us to a specialist who he is now under the care of and this guy is ace, I'm pretty confident he is on the spectrum like me Grin. Never met a vet like him, he is making everything as smooth as it can be but we are still very shaken and stressed. Best case scenario is significant treatment and lifelong medication, worse case scenario is even more drastic treatment that still fails and ends up PTS anyway. He's back at the vets on Saturday for a biopsy to be taken, in the meantime we are just trying to keep him as comfortable as possible with regular syringe feeds and twice daily pain relief.

Not only that but we may well not go on our holiday next week due to him being ill, and lose all our money as I guess our travel insurance won't pay out for a sick pet. And we are financially in the shit what with vets bills too.

Very stressful time for us atm. Sad

@fluffycloudland77 No deposit I am a lodger.

Seacow I am so sorry to hear that about your dad, a large part of my work is palliative care so please do pm me if you ever want advice/support or a chat Flowers

Have managed a NSD I think.

Am thinking about the summer hols and booking a little holiday for dd and I, was wondering about South Wales as not really that far from us (a couple of hours or so) anyone got any recommendations? Was looking at Tenby which looks nice...

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/03/2018 19:52

Are there any deposit schemes near you run by shelter? Or a housing association?.

darkriver198868 · 22/03/2018 19:53

@fluffycloudland77 asked the council they wont help me until I am legally homeless. I am desperately trying to avoid that.

ememem84 · 22/03/2018 19:59

wolf I did.

Fake kfc (southern fried chicken pieces seeet potato fries wraps and salad) for dinner

My reuseable pads have arrived. We’re going on!

ememem84 · 22/03/2018 20:01

Ds just did the most heartbreaking face. Dh has him on his lap was wiggling him and singing “wigglewigglewiggle charlie wiggle” he usually thinks this is hilarious. But nope. Not right now.

He’s got his jammies on now. Dh just changed him. He’d done a mega poo. So that’s be why he didn’t like wiggling!!

LonelyOversharer · 22/03/2018 20:01

My cat would probably shred me to pieces if I touched his feet, let alone smelled them. His fur smells so good though. I could never put my nose near my dogs!

Well the rice boiled (in lamb juices) for 55 long minutes, then got combined with the lamby mince, wrapped in bacon and cooked in the oven for 30 mins, a la meatloaf. It was delicious. On balance the brown rice should of gone in the slow cooker with the mince, doh! Usually use pearl barley, but have run out.

I'm still wondering what posessed me to buy it in the first place.

Dp spent £16.89. Not too bad, and have 2 easter eggs stashed (and one for tonight, better value than the choc orange he was going for wasn't on offer, I vetoed him buying it). He doesn't usually have my card, but he's a bit skint atm and I thought we might need fuel.

Since our "chat" about him not doing the work he has, he's been really good, and is ploughing through it.

LonelyOversharer · 22/03/2018 20:10

girlie I used to visit my gp every year in S.wales, anywhere on the Gower peninsula is great for beaches, sandy and shelly. Too far for us to travel now, but I have such good memories. You can find cowrie shells on a beach called Langland Bay - my ultimate perfect shell to find!

meadow your poor piggie. Dd3 still grieves hers, they're such likable little personalities.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/03/2018 20:15

Sounds depressingly familiar Dark

SnugglySnerd · 22/03/2018 20:17

I love brown rice! (Hippy veggie type though!)

Congratulations on the new arrival Love.

Welcome Elvis.

LittleHen it's better if you love your job. I'm getting quite fed up with mine but I have lovely colleagues which helps.

So sorry to read your news Seacow Flowers

ememem84 · 22/03/2018 20:39

Catface smells amazing. Like lavender and camomile (she’s gotten into the dryer sheets again...)

But I love cats when they’ve been out in a crisp winter day. They smell “outdoor fresh” best smell.

WreckTangled · 22/03/2018 20:55

North it's not the same for band 5 plus. I have a list of all the pay rises on email it takes me to this webpage so I hope it works PAY RISESS* it actually widens the gap between a band 5 at their top increment and a band 6 in their first year.

I hate brown rice.

Meadow poor you not what you need right now.

I've been at dds dance show. It was ok but had to sit and watch all the other schools too 😴

Laska5772 · 22/03/2018 21:05

Laskacat like to be outdoors as mich as he can , I love it when he comes home smelling of grass and hedge or wood smoke
but even if he has been indoors his fur always smells sweet .. I have never thought about smelling his feet!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/03/2018 21:12

Dark Do you want to post a meal plan? I reckon I could feed myself for less than £30 a week if I was just feeding myself.

Do you have a nectar card?.

darkriver198868 · 22/03/2018 21:22
