Meadow I'm pleased the interview is out the way Grin and fingers crossed for life!

Laska hope your throat gets better soon

Unescorted · 13/03/2018 18:59

meadow sorry to hear that. Hopefully it is better than you remember.

Laska5772 · 13/03/2018 19:12

Life and Meadow interviews are traumatic at the best of times.. they and relax this evening .

Am laughing at all this boys and their willies thing.. i feel like i have been mostly surrounded by boys .had a much younger brother, son, grandson . even the cat is a boy.. DD is DHs girl and I only came into her life when she was aged 6 so missed a lot of that. and then she was only with us alternate weekends.. she does have daughters though now, but I dont get to see them really often as she lives away.

Un Yesssss maybe ... if it gets worse or doesn't improve soon.I always feel such a nuisance at the doctors though.. oh sorry Doc i have a bit of sore throat.. and it was my own fault.. Hmm

SunnyLikeThursday · 13/03/2018 19:21

I know what you mean unescorted. I have a lot of nice people around at the moment. Nice school people, and nice GP and nice family worker who comes to the school and dispenses coffee and sympathy and advice once a month. It's frustrating to have to tell all these people every single detail though and then be told that there is only a snowball's chance in hell of a referral. If there was a private specialist I could have had ds seen and discharged a week ago by now.

I seem to have a midge bite the size of a lunar crater on my arm. That'll fairly liven up the day then.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/03/2018 19:21

Ah sorry to hear that meadow. It's a shits trick when they make it technical. Not everyone going for the job will have that.

Thanks unescorted, I had seen what you sent.

Laksa, I don't often shout but GET YOUR THROAT LOOKED AT. It's a fish bone and can't be helped.

Unescorted · 13/03/2018 19:26

We will glare at you until you do... Choice is yours. Either a Nice Dr feeling useful because he is not prescribing sugar pills for a sore throat and a sniffle. Of me and Life mithering you ..... endlessly.

Laska5772 · 13/03/2018 19:27

OK.. I will phone tomorrow..... but if the Dr or nurse practitioner (more likely) goes Hmm I shall blame you .. (only agreeing because i am struggling with my soup .).

Laska5772 · 13/03/2018 19:28

I might have Gin instead Grin

Laska5772 · 13/03/2018 19:32

Loveabaconsandwich · 13/03/2018 19:34

laska you need to do what you are told!

Glad it is over life and meadow. Have a relax this evening.

One small step a bit more along then sunny

Busy start to the day as traffic delayed me to my appointment but fortunately still had it even though I was 5 mins late. DD2 then wanted to sit in the pushchair instead of the trolley round the supermarket so I had to be musclewoman carrying a heavy basket and then not getting everything we needed.

DSil came round. Baby niece is due any day now and we went to the coffee shop but Bil paid. I’ll owe her a return trip. A nice chilled time and sociable for me!

I am so less tired on my day off. I would never have normally suggested a visitor as previously too worn out to bother Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/03/2018 20:01

I can cope with the look as long as you get sorted out. Laksa

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/03/2018 20:03

Laska even.

That's good love that your are not as shattered. The benefits sound like there are paying off in some ways.

Unescorted · 13/03/2018 20:04

Blame away ducks.

needastrongone · 13/03/2018 20:17

laska - get your fucking throat looked at, is that clear enoughGrinGrin

unescorted, are you having glum DH issues too?

girlie fingers crossed the meeting proved effective, did you feel reassured?

sunny midge bites seem innocuous, but they are bloody irritating buggers, you have my sympathy.

meadow you got through, that's the main thing, well done!

Well done on your frugaleering wig.

Liz Earle has an offer on Cleanse and Polish at the minute, £19 from £30. I get some for dd for her birthday and my BF for the similar. Birthday treats, both have sensitive skin.

This is the pony's rug - rugs are like coats, they fasten at the neck, chest, and under the belly. Somehow, he'd got out of his today, but it was all still fastened.... monkey . It's like your dc doing this with no fastenings undone...I'm wondering how he managed it. 23 and still won't wear his coatGrin

needastrongone · 13/03/2018 20:18

As usual, picture won't post from the iPad

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/03/2018 20:41

LASKA I don't often shout but for goodness sake I am betting the bone is still in your throat and probably infected now!!! Your best bet would be to get up at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning and get down to a&e then when it will be quiet. DO NOT LEAVE IT ANOTHER DAY!!!!

And breathe Wink Grin

Laska5772 · 13/03/2018 20:48

Loveabaconsandwich · 13/03/2018 20:49

life if I can get over the job not being all that great, then the benefits to my health and family is going to be great. I think a career-job holiday is what is needed.

Smile girlie

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/03/2018 20:58

I did feel reassured need we will see if it makes any difference though...

needastrongone · 13/03/2018 21:00

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/03/2018 21:15

He’s just messing with your mind now. At least he didn’t poo on it.

mammymammyIRL · 13/03/2018 21:48

Unescorted that's brilliant, I will definitely think of that, even though I can think of other things to do to that particular part of his anatomy right now. Just because he has it he thinks he gets to decide everything about our future Angry

Laska go get sorted or you won't be able to hang out here anymore Wink

Need Houdini the pony Grin

My boss often refers to the colleague who came in to cover my mat leave on things which makes me fume Angry today he asked if it was ok with me he'd talk to colleague about particular issue Grin progress ConfusedHmm
