£9 on a glass of wine (I live in London) with a friend yesterday.

NSD today. Although sleeping off a night shift.

Chimichangaz · 12/02/2018 19:33

6.28 on a McDonald's dinner due to (another) bad day at the office....

mamapants · 12/02/2018 19:36

I've not been as good last couple of days. Thirty pounds on us all having lunch out yesterday but the day out was free due to having a season ticket.
Just food shopping today.
Trying to decide what to do tomorrow because of rubbish weather. Thinking maybe swimming in the morning.

madamefraser · 12/02/2018 20:33

Today was a NSD!!! But I am getting v close to my using overdraft so have to be careful .. am starting to think this isn't gonna be as easy as i thought it would be this month ....

chickenowner · 12/02/2018 21:06

£10 on my yoga class - sooooo worth it!

So not a NSD today.

PirateYellowbelly · 12/02/2018 21:16

Spent £7 on a gift and card then about £4 on drinks. Other than that, managed to avoid spending. Hoping to get through tomorrow with minimal spending too.

mamapants · 13/02/2018 09:37

Going to the free swimming today so should hopefully be a NSD.
Going after lunch so as not to get sucked into the cafe.
Sorting out some refund on mobile contract has had no signal for over a month now. I've never bothered trying before, I'd heard they didn't do refunds but seem to be doing it no bother, will see how much I get!
The parking fine was sent within a couple of days. I think I'll just ask if it makes a difference regarding been broken down but otherwise will just pay it. I should have sorted it out sooner!

GreenTulips · 13/02/2018 10:04

Have just checked my bank account

I've paid off a £300 overdraft, waiting in €100 refund and need to pay the vets £80

BUT I'm still up £500 and only one more shopping to get before payday

Looking good so far - although kids are nagging for crap!

ivykaty44 · 13/02/2018 13:37

Green tulips I used to give pocket money for half term and once it’s gone it’s gone- the rule was no nagging for anything otherwise no money next half term

Mamapants - google Morrison CEO and email him really nicely explaining your plight...

They can intervene - do you have any paperwork from the breakdown to show date coincides?

This would show genuine break down, say you left note in car etc etc

How much you love shopping at Morrison as it’s such a great experience- normally but now you’re having a melt down over your breakdown and can they help!

You have nothing to lose but everything to gain 😉

I've gone right off the rails again, spent £30 in Tesco on rubbish I didn't need, I have paid some more off my next account though. I now owe £90 on that. Got a few expenses coming up so I need to be careful now. It's half term next week and we are going away for a couple of days and then I've got four family birthdays and Mother's Day. It feels never ending

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 13/02/2018 14:25

February is a rubbish month for me so far.
Hoping that the rest of February will be better.

mamapants · 13/02/2018 16:14

NSD today. Trip swimming worked well.
Am at work tomorrow so I won't spend anything I don't think.
Almost time to check bank account again and see how it's going.

PirateYellowbelly · 13/02/2018 18:18

Didn't do too badly today. Cinema trip this morning paid for with gift card we got for Christmas. Took own snacks. Did treat ourselves to lunch out then did weekly food shop. Got a few extras as it's half term but thinking this should avoid buying things when out and about.

Gah81 · 13/02/2018 19:14

NSD here. Nearly succumbed to a takeaway as am ill and my day was long but made myself some delicious mozzarella and roasted vegetable pasta for dinner instead, using what I bought this week.

chickenowner · 13/02/2018 19:35

Not a great day money wise, but lots of fun!

£30 to renew my arts cinema membership for another year - which includes three tickets, 20% off the cafe and reduced ticket prices. So definitely worth it.

Also spent another £10 on coffee for me and a friend, lunch, and lemons for pancake day!

Tomorrow will definitely be a NSD. Smile

Chimichangaz · 13/02/2018 21:34

Just realised today was NSD! Worked from home and haven't even left the house. Not even thought about online shopping Smile

Littlechocola · 13/02/2018 22:51

Bad day! £70 spent! £25 for diesel but the rest was things that I don’t need. A dress, a record, valentines card as I’ve not had chance to make one. Confused quite cross at myself and felt like a naughty child writing it in my spending book.

Not a great day, felt really tired so bought lunch instead of having my soup, 2.60, then filled up with petrol (£34) and called in for milk and spent another £2 on stir fry sauce and chocolate. Random.

chickenowner · 15/02/2018 09:34

Yesterday was a NSD.

Today will be a NSD.

Smile
madamefraser · 15/02/2018 17:38

Not NSD for me yesterday...spent £8 on very nice glass of wine that was very non essential and £15 on BFs son for birthday gift I hadn't included in my budget for this month, and nephew is coming down tonight so may as well call it on Feb Confused but today NSD ....spent my boots points on toiletries I needed and make up so something positive !

mamapants · 15/02/2018 18:27

NSD today and yesterday.
Lovely walk on the beach. At work tomorrow so should be a NSD. Am planning on checking out library in my lunch break to reduce book spending.
