I hope the lovely folk in Ireland are faring okay in the storm.

Life, how's your FiL? Any news?

Snuggly I agree with Fluffy (I like to agree with her, otherwise she gets angry....), I tried cheap flasks and wasted my money, I didn't know about the Sainsbo's ones so it was Thermos ones for us, but they are utterly fab.

Fluffy I hear you about the Tesco opticians, cheers. I'm being dicked by Specsavers at the minute.

Sunny Choc ices are a true known cure for a cold, together with lots of fluid and unlimited use of Minecraft, preferably together Smile

£24 M&S today
£17 yesterday.

WreckTangled · 16/10/2017 15:40

Yes the sky is very eerie here too.

I also think colds have to just run their course unfortunately. Lots of vegetables and plenty of water. I tend to give dd lots of sympathy whilst also teaching her that she just has to suck it up and get on with it Grin I like marmite on toast for a sore throat, I can always feel it scraping all the gak away Grin

Fab typo em!

Hope the scan goes well cag

I’m home for a little bit before getting the dc from after school club. It’s nice to have a little breather.

needastrongone · 16/10/2017 15:41

Goes off to investigate the sale of pumpkins through TCB.

LonelyOversharer · 16/10/2017 15:59

The storm veered west and missed us, yay!

The sky was a weird colour though wasn't it.

I have gutted the little girls bedroom. Two full big bin bags and lots of clothes and missing socks located. Dd3 came and said thankyou, she can 'breathe' in there again apparently!

Dd2 keeps feeling headachy and sick. Its either a bug or she seriously doesn't want to do pe. Doctors tomorrow to be sure.

Tescos £13, just on bits for tea tonight.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/10/2017 16:03

Two pumpkins if you have a O/H with a Tcb account. The offer runs till the 31st.

NSD & I've earned another reward on the shotgun app. Rewards are down so I can't claim it.

Cagliostro · 16/10/2017 16:10

Damn lack of signal made my post disappear.

Waiting for consultant, scan mostly good but her growth has slowed right down and they don't know why :( she said she's glad I am seeing consultant now or she would have to send me to the bigger hospital (where all the main maternity stuff is). Not entirely sure what to make of all that really.

Loveabaconsandwich · 16/10/2017 16:27

Cag She is leading you a merry dance isn't she? Once she's here I bet she'll be your most chilled baby & no trouble at all.

WreckTangled · 16/10/2017 16:44

Ah cag hopefully they’re just being precautious Flowers

northender · 16/10/2017 16:52

Fingers crossed Cag

So windy here now, the washing dried quickly though & none blew away!! Went to town this morning, more Christmas shopping done & all dd's birthday presents so I'm feeling quite organised. Haven't done any more work on the advent calendar though & would like to take it with us when we go down in 2 weeks.
Class booked for tonight at 7.15, I'd really rather get my PJs on early and curl up & watch tv but I will go, need to keep the momentum up.

ChristmasSeacow · 16/10/2017 16:53

Fingers crossed for you Cag, I guess they might induce you early if they have concerns. You're pretty far along now iirc? Eek. Hope all is okay x

Anyway, this has got my arse in gear... I am dropping the parcel of baby clothes off to a DPD collection point tomorrow so it should be with you at the end of the week. If you PM me your mobile number I can put it in the booking so that you get a text with delivery window and ability to change it online if not convenient. DPD are quite handy like that.

NSD. About blardy time.

needastrongone · 16/10/2017 17:00

Fingers crossed for your Cag, you are in the best possible place. xx

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2017 17:05

Pumpkins are only 99p in Aldi. Pumpkin profit?

No news need. Still bleeding and will stay in until it stops.

Nsd today. Got some raspberries on the turn so will make jam. Not off just end of season tastelessness.

We had the weird sky until about 3 pm.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2017 17:07

Hope it's ok cag. They are always over cautious about these things.

Cagliostro · 16/10/2017 17:09

Thank you all ❤️ It's probably nothing, the other things like movement and blood flow are good anyway.

Ooh thank you seacow I shall do that. Am 36 weeks :)

Midwife asked if I'd packed my hospital bag 🙈

needastrongone · 16/10/2017 17:13

Honestly the Halloween walk at one of our local stately homes is going to freak some kids out! Really good, but definitely scary 😂

WreckTangled · 16/10/2017 17:15

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2017 17:23

Ooo need. I love a good scare. Pm me and tell me where it is please

WreckTangled · 16/10/2017 17:27

Need that looks really good! My dc would definitely be scared

ememem84 · 16/10/2017 17:30

Arse. I have a headache. Almost like I can feel a migraine coming on. Rrrrubbish. It’s entirely possible I’m dehydrated. Currently drinking loads of water in the hope it goes away soon. Eugh.

Apparently if breastfeeding this can happen. Something else no one told me.

needastrongone · 16/10/2017 17:41

Pm'd you Life.
