Wow, Fluffy, good going!Star

We all need a little boost every now and again, Snuggly. That was very decent of the shop assistant.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/08/2017 21:05

No it's application, on line test then the 6 competency are tested at assessment centre - which is case based exercise, group exercise, role play then interview.
The on line test was hard. The application they just basically needed your name and current employer.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/08/2017 21:08

I thought volcano too. Stay safe need.
Must log onto nectar when I'm back

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/08/2017 21:32

Thanks Creme. I'm hoping to have a free Christmas this year. I found it tough last year.

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 21:34

Wow life that is quite an interview grilling. Good luck!

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 21:35

No idea why that posted twice- sorry

Loveabaconsandwich · 16/08/2017 06:38

Hoping everyone had a good nights sleep as no one posted over night Smile

Currently stood outside in the cold waiting for a lift. Fortunately not getting the train today as not sure I would get to work!

WreckTangled · 16/08/2017 07:19

It's going to be another nice day here.

Ds has a party to go to and I'll need to pay parking which is annoying because I don't have any money! I'm going to take ds to the park whilst dd is there, he will like that. I'll take him a packed lunch too.

needastrongone · 16/08/2017 07:36

Fingers crossed for you Life, maybe at least you have a bit more time to plan, so some form of positive there. Hell of an assessment though, bloody hell.

That sounds like a lovely day snuggly, having the extra pair of hands really makes the difference sometimes doesn't it?

Trip to coast today. But waiting for DD's tutor to call first.

needastrongone · 16/08/2017 07:45

Just downloaded a free app called Wunderlist, keeping me organised. I prefer being organisedSmile

SunnyLikeThursday · 16/08/2017 08:00

Glag you're doing to the GP Fluffy. Very good idea.

We're pottering along here. DS got better after 3 hours, presumably because he is now 75% iron, from the diet that I have been feeding him.

I'm still on the potatoes. But we had a nice time sitting in bed all day yesterday doing projects, which was nice. We've never done that before. Definitely a step forward that.

LonelyOversharer · 16/08/2017 08:09

I'm actually up early! Next doors dogs are howling! They're usually really quiet.

I'm going to best offer on the rollerblades. I made £30 on online casino last night (profit), so have bolstered my 'spends' pot. I think the blades are long distance/marathon type things, so will have to find more decent tarmac, we have a few miles of cycle track and an ace park nearby. I'm still justifying it. Well I'll offer low and see.

Will sign up to this nectar thing, can cope with surveys, but I often ignore the emails offering them, which is stupid.

ememem84 · 16/08/2017 09:39

need is DD waiting for a level results? Good luck if so!!!
Wonderlist looks interesting. May get that one.

fluffy how do you sign up to erewards? I looked yesterday can see how to log in but not how to sign up....

Hope the gp goes well too. X

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/08/2017 10:00

Em

Log in to your nectar account on the desktop site, click on search then enter "e rewards". Then join.

If your Dh has a nectar card then you can join him up too & double up on points.

Nectar points can be spent in Argos, eBay & pizza express so they can be quite usefull to have.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/08/2017 10:06

Free 4 pack of cider on checkout smart & quidco clicksnap. Usefull for bbqs & Christmas parties. Mulled cider anyone?.

Cagliostro · 16/08/2017 10:13

I really need to sort out our nectar card, have used it for points in Sainsbury's but we got it so long ago I can't remember the email address, password or even whose name it's under, or whether it was this address! Might just sign up fresh (but can still use the points on the old card in store I think?)

Hi all, we didn't have a great nights sleep! Dds friend who was sleeping over couldn't sleep and got herself in a panic so i had to drive her home at nearly 1am Shock long time since I've been out of the house at that time Wink Had to wake dd up as well as didn't like the thought of leaving her on her own at night so we both didn't get much sleep!!

Oh well first time thats happened when dd has had a sleepover and had to happen at some point I guess.

Have been invited to a wedding in Ireland next June Shock its in a place called Waterford, any of the Irish frugaleers know it? Not sure will be able to afford to go but will look into it.

Not sure what the plan is today, am scratching my head trying to think of things that cost nothing!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/08/2017 10:42

Cag If you ring the nectar call centre they'll help you. You can spend instore as long as you have used the card there recently.

Cagliostro · 16/08/2017 11:00

Thanks fluffy I'll do that :)

Don't suppose anyone here knows about Ancient Greek...?

WreckTangled · 16/08/2017 11:04

Went to bills for pancakes but they had run out. Ds was so upset as was I we actually left rather than pay for something we didn't really want.

ememem84 · 16/08/2017 13:01

fluffy thanks. I wondered where I was going wrong.

I have a nectar card for use in the uk and on eBay so being able to rack up points will help. Nowhere here accepts them (itnis/was a sainsburies thing wasn't it?)

ememem84 · 16/08/2017 13:25

£333.12 spends today. On parish rates for the year. This covers upkeep of roads electric bins etc.

WreckTangled · 16/08/2017 14:43

Was driving home and there was a dog running in the road so I rescued it and took him home Grin just so happened to belong to someone I used to work with.

WreckTangled · 16/08/2017 16:17

I've just been at the hospital having my diabetic retinopathy screening. I can't see as my pupils are huge. Just guessing what I'm writing Grin
