Totally 100% agree with girlie there em, cherish these last few weeks if you can at all. Not meant to be patronising, honest.

So hot here there's frost fires. This is the view from our villa this morning.

NSD so far, out for tea tonight but that's it.

The E-Rewards surveys that I use to earn lots of nectar points used to be invitation only but I've just logged into the main nectar website and put e rewards into the search box & it's come up with a link to join.

The surveys are usually 100-300 points each but some are way more.

It's worth joining, I'm getting 1000 points a week on each card.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/08/2017 15:05

Good grief that's bad. It's must be like a tinder box over there.

Kebab will be ok as long as I avoid the chilli sauce.

Drs can see me tomorrow in a sit and wait clinic. I just told a receptionist I had diahroea. So embarrassing.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/08/2017 15:08

Gws fluff.

Having a break from the sun and swotting up on civil service competency frame work. Stuck on delivering at pace, think my example is a bit wishy washy. Interview the day I get back from holiday or the day after. Joy

ememem84 · 15/08/2017 15:50

The boss just asked me why I was looking so glam today. Grin

Have had a lot to deal with today at work. Almost cried #preggohormones as had some super sad cliebt related stuff to deal with. Was fine reading the emails but when I had to call insurers to put in a claim and explain the situation almost teary...

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 16:47

Flowers BrewCake life I'm sure you will be great. I just printed out the cscf about 10 minutes ago. Urrgh

Earlier I found a job closer to home to apply for. It's even part time and flexible on hours. I rang up to ask , I decided I needed to know more before going through application torture! I've never done that before

Just joined e-rewards, thanks fluffy . I am a fellow mindnumb er with online surveys. However, my VO surveys have definitely reduced since I joined nectar canvass. Co-incidence as they are run by the same company?

LonelyOversharer · 15/08/2017 16:48

need you're crackers! Did you run up the side of that mountain? you did didn't you

Today, one hit: pizza made in table top oven at shop, all good for quick lunch on sunday.
One miss: tarte au citron scrambled. Eek. Forgot to turn the oven down! Very tasty, but very scrambled. Was a test run for sunday.

Am now making lists for sunday yes I bought a new notebook for baking, ingredients, things I must not forget...

em your mindset changes. Things that used to be a bit sad will make you weep! Anything with a hurt child in on tv will make you go and kiss your baby, just to check they're ok (usually while sniveling).

All the holiday stuff is super! We can't get away for many reasons just now 6 years just now but it really is cheery to hear that you lot are having fun. It's not like facebook where I get a bit depressed at the 2 people I know who are currently micro posting their all-inclusives.

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 16:49

Flowers em

I cried at work when pregnant when the confidential waste man refused to empty the bin as it was too full.

LonelyOversharer · 15/08/2017 16:54

Quick canvass of opinion. As a 41yr old mum of 4 would I be totally batshit to buy these?

I need a new tablet, but I want these. Need/want.

They have 100mm wheels, so huge and super fast.

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 17:31

If you will use them, why not lonely . Good exercise

ememem84 · 15/08/2017 17:39

lonely as a resident shopping enabler I say doooo it

I love roller skates. I have a pair of quad skates I bought just after Christmas with the intention of joining roller derby. Then found out about baby boy...so figured best not.
Haven't even taken them out for a spin. Sad

Necessary purchase today. Brown tan flat pointed toe slip on brogues for work. £70 on dune - knocked to £61.50 less VAT knocked to £41.50 with a voucher I had, saved on delivery and got cashback (approx £5). My old tan flatties have seen better days. - i may sell them as "trashed" on eBay preggo trashed shoes are a niche market apparently.

Beautiful sunny day. May drag dh out for a beach walk once we get home.

needastrongone · 15/08/2017 17:45

As another resident enabler, and someone that doesn't hold with the age being a barrier lark, I would get them lonely. Will you have fun and get you fit? I'm sure the answer is yes to thatSmile

Might have gone up the hill a few times.....but never shall I complain at the apparent hills of Yorkshire again.

Hush new collection out, with 10% off. Had a browse and not interested.

Em, them hormones are tough, I still cry at everything even these days.

Left my nectar card at home sadly and it won't let me login.

needastrongone · 15/08/2017 17:47

Make sure see the doctor fluffy. Please. This has gone on long enough.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/08/2017 18:09

Urgh indeed. 6 bloody competency assessment. Interview is thingying at pace and managing an effective service. If I get through the first exercise, then role play and group exercise.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/08/2017 18:10

Lonely don't you do roller as your fitness thing. I say why not. I know a 44 year old who does roller disco with her under 10dd

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/08/2017 18:44

So you've done 4 for application and then only two at interview life ? But role play and then a group exercise as well is harsh!

Did you have to do the psychometric test thing first? I got invited to test it when it first came out but never got round to it. Wish I had!

Cagliostro · 15/08/2017 18:48

Hell yes get the rollerblades! :o

Wow at the fire photo. Yikes. :(

I seem to have a bit of a glow this pregnancy. Never did before particularly with DS. Perhaps this time people just keep saying how well I'm looking because normally I look haggard and exhausted and frumpy 😂😂

Tayto not entirely sure yet. At 20 week scan baby was not in the most helpful position! They said probably girl but that was really due to lack of, erm, evidence to the contrary 😁 so she said she couldn't be certain. I am having a growth scan next week so will ask then. A friend said her cousin was told 85% likely girl at 20 week scan and then a few weeks later had another scan and it was absolutely definitely a boy. So while I've kind of got used to it being girl I am now thinking maybe not... really hope I can know for sure next week!

Thats weird have lost all the threads i'm on Confused mn telling me I haven't posted on anything for a while - err yes I have Grin

Oh well, eek Need bet you can smell the smoke?!

I still cry at everything Em its embarrassing, anything to do with kids has me in bits Blush

Had a nice day, weather has been lovely for a change took dd and her friend to the swimming pool, was £6 for them to swim and I spent £3 in the cafe on tea and chocolate. So nice now they can just go swimming by themselves.

Spent £5 in Morrisons on a couple of bits.

Girls are out again playing having had tea and will watch a film in a bit, I have de weeded the front garden which was in a bad way weed wise and am now resting!!

Cagliostro · 15/08/2017 19:02

Absolutely shattered after a nice afternoon at the adventure playground. Not that I did anything to warrant such exhaustion but oh well. Nice free afternoon though (last minute I forgot cash for tuck shop so my friend covered that, I'll do that when we try a different playground next week!). 4.5hrs and we barely saw the kids.

Had time between buses to get the replacement DVD, in Cex so cheaper than new, also got an anime box set of Sherlock Hound which looks like a giggle, and it's the same producer (also did the film my username is from) ❤️ £14 in cex (Sherlock hound was supposed to be £8, scanned at £6, not complaining!) and £1 water

NSD. Sainsburys delivery came, so that will be £48.55 out tomorrow.

Stay safe, Need, with those forest fires!Shock

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/08/2017 19:20

I'd go for a pad over roller blades. It's more practical.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/08/2017 19:49

The good thing about e rewards is that you can keep old email invites & click on the links to get surveys they otherwise wouldn't offer you.

If you get to 5000 points they give you a 500 point bonus.

I use dhs card too on a seperate email I have access to. You just have to remember who you are for each survey.

I've had 400 points today which means I can get myself some jeggings & Dh a dressing gown for 37p because I was one voucher short.

It's paying for my Xmas week shop too, £83 saved so far.

SnugglySnerd · 15/08/2017 19:50

Found you! Pleased to hear I'm not the only one whose TIO has vanished.

Need I thought perhaps Vesuvius was erupting when I saw that photo! It must be roasting hot.

Lovely day today. DH had the day off so we all went out for a picnic. Spent rather a lot of coffee and nd ice creams but I think I needed a treat.
Also bought a few cards in lovely card/gift shop type place. Shop assistant asked if I had a loyalty/discount card. I said not but noticed on the receipt she gave me 10% off anyway. Result!

25% off in TU until Monday.
