Happy birthday love!

Ah baby seacalf is super cute! Good luck sea!

I've read most of the thread (gosh its chatty here!) congratulations on dnephew em - are you sure you're not cooking a 10lb-er Grin!

£3.50 so far today on coffee. Have completely run out of wipes and had to deal with a poonami with tiny cotton wool balls and water so will be popping to shops later.

ememem84 · 22/06/2017 15:27

waitress I bloody hope not!!!! It's something I'm going to ask at my next appointment though. Just in case. I was a 6lb-er and dh was just about 8lb. So midwife said about 7lb something would be expected for us.

Dh used to be brand loyal but he's not as bad now. He does like pizza express pizza but there usually on offer somewhere. I got lazy last week & paid £9 for two in waitrose, then I found them in sainsburys for £2 each. I won't be making that mistake again. If Dh did that I'd go nuts.

£13 top up shop in Aldi. Jury's out on shoes, I bet they go back.

Happy Birthday Bacon, I wouldn't fancy that commute in this weather either. Enjoy the hamper, it looks lovely.

£16.95 from match betting later.

LonelyOversharer · 22/06/2017 16:55

A much better day today. Had a nice hour with my mum before collecting the dc, which always makes me feel better though my dad teases me and treats me like I'm still 15

Have nsd so far, and will do a freezer rummage tea.

Coppersulphate · 22/06/2017 18:03

Well it's not rained yet but it'd trying. Forgotten how to. But much cooler and fresher.
Apparently DGS work DD up last night crying that his Gruffalo had come alive. Obviously thinking he was just playing up she went and looked. She had put a big fan in his room to help, circulate the cool air and it was blowing on the Gruffalo and his tail was moving. DGS was scared. Kids😀😀
Happy birthday Love, that hamper looks yummy. Enjoy.
How Seacow is ok. At least it's cooler for a little seacalf.
Sunny and Cag. I think you are right about the SE...well London. I only really know London. Everyone is almost competitively confident. Hope it goes well at the dentist Sunny.
Poor Cag's DD. it's terrible when you would do anything to help them but you can't. Perhaps after a diagnosis you will get some help.
LSD. It should have been NSD but I was passing Poundland and the chocolate biscuits were very cheap. £2, £1 parking and £1 cup of tea with friend. It is amazing how it all adds up when you write it down. It doesn't exist until I write it down.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/06/2017 18:14

Happy birthday love.

£14 Morrison's top up

Laska5772 · 22/06/2017 18:25

Happy Birthday love bacon . Well i am at the hotel at Gatwick ( did you see me wave as I went past wreck? )
Flying out 5.20 so we will be getting up pretty darn early! . No wi fi where we are ... back in 3 weeks Yay!!

WreckTangled · 22/06/2017 18:49

Copper that's so funny! Poor dgs!

Laska I did think I could see a crazy lady waving Wink

I feel so mentally exhausted right now I don't know how people manage to work full time with children. The only way I know I can manage is because I know I have six weeks off soon! I think after Christmas or October half term I'm going to ask if I can do the same hours but over four days.

allthebestplease · 22/06/2017 18:54

Whoop whoop, we've exchanged on our house sale 🏡 This will be our last move (promise)....

Now to change all the addresses!

So exciting.

Cagliostro · 22/06/2017 19:09

Yay all! Exciting stuff!

mammymammyIRL · 22/06/2017 19:18

Em no photo came up last night when I read you got your baps out at the beach. And I thought well she's a very confident pregnant lady GrinBlush

ememem84 · 22/06/2017 19:42

Hahahahaha mammy I am fairly confident generally but not that confident!!! I do have rather glorious preggo boobs though! Haha!

Hi all, haven't caught up, just this page, sorry.

Happy birthday Bacon and love!

People saying seacalf, is Seacow's baby here now??? Shock

all Congrats on completion!

Laska Enjoy your lovely holiday, I'm dead jealous!

Copper Bless your DGS, that is such a cute and sad little story! Poor thing!

Frugal news: I got awarded £150 from the uni hardship fund! That pays for my graduation gown hire and photography, and I will still have a bit of money left over, which is great news for us.

Spends today was £6.50 on mezze with a friend from uni that I hadn't seen in about two years. It was so nice to meet up with her again and I feel really daft as she lives like a half an hour train journey away and I've never thought to go and visit her before Blush. But we met here as she works here now so we met after her work. And planning to meet up again sometime over summer before I move away.

ememem84 · 22/06/2017 21:25

meadow not sure re seacalf - it's purely speculation. I'm working on the basis that when a preggo goes offline something's happened.

Hi all Smile

Sunny glad you are making some progress, anxiety is a horrible feeling and can limit you so much. I remember reading somewhere that just because you think something doesn't make it true which I find helpful when anxious thoughts creep in. Would be nice to have your parents closer though?

Has Need vanished as well?

Yes I thought that Seacow is probably in labour somewhere!! Exciting.

Have had a nice day, although have been lacking in energy somewhat. Have some how agreed to looking after a friends dog for the wend which dd is delighted about!! Its nice dog but quite a bit bigger than my dads dog, will be more practice for dd though....

Spent £1.50 on cake snacks and £1 parking.

Cag know exactly what you mean about that being the most difficult part of parenting, I completely agree. Hope your dd is o.kay Flowers

SnugglySnerd · 22/06/2017 21:58

Great news, All.

Very low spend day. £2.98 on 2 nice pairs of trousers for DS in the charity shop. I went to one in quite a smart area where people donate some really lovely kids' stuff in particular.

Cagliostro · 22/06/2017 22:08

Sorry guys that was my fault re: seacow/calf! Was just pondering as she's not been on the thread today and I'm overexcited! I hope all is ok whatever is happening.
I was wondering about need too!

Good day here, thank you girlie DD has gone to bed happily today. So that's a blessing. She had a great day with climbing club and st john. :)

A few spends and DH made his first payment in the bank on the 0%. A direct debit will come out in a couple of weeks too, so that makes an 'overpayment' on his planned schedule. DH and I had the chance for a dinner date too while the Caglets were at their club. Yay! We spent most of it debating baby names :o

Sooo excited for tomorrow, dinner with 6 mum friends. Much needed.

Cagliostro · 22/06/2017 22:13

What's weirdest is that I actually HAVE mum friends now. Never happened when the Caglets were babies, or at school! I'm not a misfit anymore since starting HE. Or rather, I have now met lots of other misfits :o :o

Coppersulphate · 22/06/2017 23:06

Congratulations All, brilliant news. When are you moving?
Cag, we are all misfits I think, just in different ways, I always think I am normal until kids point out that actually I have Aspergers. Don't usually admit to it. It's the reason I don't have a telly. Can't cope with the sound, movement , colours all at once.
So Cag, of course you are normal and I bet the HE crowd are great people.
Enjoy your holiday Laska.
Yes, where is Need and Seacow.?

ChristmasSeacow · 23/06/2017 00:37

I'm here! And you were all correct in your speculation Grin. Was admitted for induction on Tuesday but nothing happened because there was no room on the delivery suite (where I needed to be for them to break my waters or give me the drip). Anyway, after boiling in a holding pen for 2 days with no aircon I went into labour overnight anyway and had her this morning. It was a bit dramatic in the end - I went from 4cm to 10, to delivery, in less than 40 minutes (that was naturally, no drugs Shock) and it was quite violent. DD was in distress from the force of it all so I had about a dozen people in the room shouting at me to push. All was fine but I was in a bit of shock afterwards. It took me an hour just to stop shaking!

Anyway, she is beautiful and we are smitten. Going home tomorrow morning. I didn't manage to get a side room (apparently they've stopped offering them privately for a fee as too much clinical need) so I am on a boiling hot bay. Only one other couple though and they are fairly quiet apart from THEIR PHONE RINGS AND TEXT ALERTS!
I don't really feel I can complain since I have the baby who has just screamed for 2 hours straight Blush

I missed dinner due to a ward transfer timing so have had 2x egg sandwiches today. Am hoovering all the emergency snacks I brought with me but could murder a pizza!

I can't wait to see DS tomorrow. I am a bit anxious about his reaction to the baby but I have missed him so much. I was very tearful
hormonal yesterday about wasting time waiting around and missing him. Soppy mummy.

Sorry, I read the thread but can't remember anything! Donforgive my rudeness

100yearsdotcom · 23/06/2017 00:40

Aaawww seacow happy for you but be very gentle and kind with yourself, it sounds like you had a rough time but have done so well. Enjoy your beautiful girl xxxx

Second week of bootcamp finished not feeling as fit as last time around. Think that vomiting bug took more out of me than I thought.

Going to finish my online Tesco shop when I get to work for delivery tonight & make tomo a day at home for housework & enjoying dc, we're going to a fairy festival parade in the evening if weathers ok, raining here currently but 15 deg & rising also
