tayto you'll cry! Its awful, suddenly you realise that it's the end of primary school, it seems such a big deal, and you cry I was sobbing! Dd2 finishes soon. At the leavers assembly I know I'll weep.

snuggly I do that! Lovely spiders are our friends. Are they heck as like. Having older dc are great, cos you can tell them how it is, and they either laugh or call you pathetic!

Have had a shitty day from shitsville. Bike club related. It's really not worth the hassle sometimes. Been for an angry bike ride with dp and don't feel much better about things yet.

LonelyOversharer · 21/06/2017 17:38

10lb 10oz em holy cow! CONGRATULATIONS!! Send your sil something nice, she's had a very hard day! Your boys are going to be very close in age, how lovely Flowers

SunnyLikeThursday · 21/06/2017 17:46

Lonely I think when ds leaves primary school I will probably cry with relief. I was pretty glad to get to secondary school myself too, and more so to get to University.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/06/2017 18:12

10ld 10 ouch but congratulations.

Ah lonely sorry to hear that. Bike club is hard work at the moment for your isn't it

Nsd

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 21/06/2017 18:14

Dd only has 4 weeks left at primary after this week, think I am a bit in denial about having a child old enough to go to secondary apart from anything else Grin I will def weep probably through most of the last week tbh, it doesn't seem like 5 mins since she started school Sad

Em blimey what a big boy lovely news, congratulations.

We are still lounging about moaning about the heat as well, its meant to break tonight....

NSD Halo

WreckTangled · 21/06/2017 18:27

I have finished work for almost 3 and a half weeks..Grin Grin We fly at stupid o clock on Friday .. and staying in Premier inn at airport tomorrow .. I still have lots to do.. like pack my bag Hmm.. I may be back later ... if not def in the morning.

. Spends? Gawd knows I seem to have bought loads of last minute things.. hopefully ill get time to YNAB before I go , but its not top priority .. I know there is enough in bank atthe moment.

right I must go water the garden and de side sprout the tomatoes in green house .. ( it will be Triffids though when we get back if weather l keeps on being warm ) ..

I also stripped al the tiny courgettes of the plants just now and made crustless quiche with them for dinner and tomorrows breakfast. (hopefully the lovely girl coming to water and feed Dpusscat will remember to take off any new ones that com eor else we will be back to torpedos! everything is going mad though inthe garden (so definately Triffids i reckon) .

Dpusscat thas just let himself in at open window and gone out again !! he doesnt quite know if he is hungry in this heat or not..

WreckTangled · 21/06/2017 19:49

Laska are you flying from gatwick? Getting the train from Portsmouth straight there? You'll go through where I grew up and also right past where I work Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/06/2017 19:57

Laska5772 · 21/06/2017 20:03

WreckTangled · 21/06/2017 20:07

Our office is in Chichester right behind the train station. And I grew up near Pulborough... Gatwick is my favourite airport much prefer it to Heathrow.

fluffy I could do with visiting you my feet are in awful condition after all this hot weather Grin I love holy flaps! Also perfect pocket designs are good for mugs

Cagliostro · 21/06/2017 20:11

Need to go back to Chichester. Might be setting up some home ed stuff at the uni, I got talking to someone at a STEM event. Also they have a new trampoline park :o :o :o

Cagliostro · 21/06/2017 20:39

Cagliostro · 21/06/2017 20:40

But oh dear at the broken bones! Shock

Laska5772 · 21/06/2017 20:59

I Know it well wreck Chi being one of my favourite places.... I grew up in Drayton ( not that far from Havant) and lived in Shoreham by Sea for many years before coming here , had friends in Pulborough and taught (only for a year) at the agricultural college there..

Phew! garden done.. now for the washing up .. ..

WreckTangled · 21/06/2017 21:07

Oh laska I know the college well! How funny, such a small world.

Em that looks awesome! I'm about to go to bed!

ememem84 · 21/06/2017 22:24

Oooh Taco Bell.

I also got my baps out on the beach.

We're home now. Have opened all windows wide as they can go. Dh has our front door wide open. He's sitting by it I'm by the big window in the living room. Just in case catface tries to get out. She was very interested in the open window the other day.

It's not that we don't want to let her out...it's more she can't get back in. If she got out the window it's a 2 story drop down and no way back up.

Cooler tonight thank goodness. Dropped down to 18 degrees. 24 degrees tomorrow.

SunnyLikeThursday · 21/06/2017 22:40

Are you an agriculture person then Laska? I'm not a million miles from that myself.

I've been Beavering again tonight and ds did his investiture. Everything seems so much nicer at Beavers. I wondered if it is the done thing to just go and live there? I think it's partly because our leader is very nice.

mammymammyIRL · 21/06/2017 22:44

My bootcamp was by the beach with the fabulous smell of seaweed Grin
Em's trip to beach sounds much better
