I hate to say this (but i will anyway!!Grin) Don't worry fluffy , once Em has the baby Dcatface will have to take her turn in the family hierachy an will no doubt be less indulged! - Having said that my Dpusscat is fairly indulged (Dreamy treats and tummy rubs on demand), but we dont have kids at home any more !..

Mine has milk as well as water.. i know they say not, but he loves it, hes not overweight, ( he prefers to be mostly an outdoor puss and certainly at the moment.. he will be out all night in this weather) and the vet said it was ok ..Its just that some cats cant tolerate it .. mine can it seems . He is also very sillygood natured..Here he is in his Christmas Bow tie

My old cat only drinks green water he finds in the garden. And stuff left in cups old, set milk being his favourite. Won't touch a water bowl. He looks at me with distaine if I put a bowl down for him.

Laska5772 · 18/06/2017 22:13

Dpusscat (Aaah.. he looks a bit of a bruiser but is as soft as anything)

Supposed to be 30C here again tomorrow .

And I've just bought an underwired nursing bra in the largest possible cup size (which still may not be big enough) and it was £50

Laska5772 · 18/06/2017 22:15

Yes green water.. out of plant pots preferably ! ones of my y parents previous cats used to like 'set' aka gone off milk.. ours loves Greek yoghurt , but he only gets it if we have run out of milk. .

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 18/06/2017 22:16

My cats will only drink manky pond water Hmm

Lonely you reminded me that we had a MacDs on the way home as well Grin £7 and it was delicious!!

Laska5772 · 18/06/2017 22:20

he also is partial tobird bath water often with pigeon poo in (bleugh)

LonelyOversharer · 18/06/2017 22:50

Found an old photo.

He's very partial to a bit of left over macaroni cheese, his brother (gone 13 years now) used to eat hula hoops and quavers.

My two never had snowsuits :( they are so cute. It's going to be odd having a winter baby! My friends are happy because they can knit more stuff for a winter born :o

If you don't mind Wreck a snowsuit would be awesome, thank you Thanks would Em benefit from it first though as little boy is due earlier? I don't know how cold it has to be for a snowsuit Blush actually I can't even remember how I dressed them by the time it was winter (both would've been in 6-9m by then) Blush - they must have had coats?! Gosh I really have forgotten everything!

I found out today, as DD keeps asking, that Cagletini is about 15cm long! Seriously starting to get real now!

Currently have DD grumbling because it's too hot and apparently the fan is 'too warm' :o

I can't weigh in on the cat drinking DH is a git who doesn't like cats but my old cat used to drink from the tap. He'd push the handle to get the water on, then scoop the water from the stream.

Cagliostro · 18/06/2017 23:01

He did still have a bowl of water available obviously! Just seemed to prefer it running. Probably lucky my parents didn't have a water meter :o

£50 seacow? Fuuuuck. My two bras are starting to get tighter, I don't think I can put it off much longer. May I ask what brand you went for please?

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/06/2017 06:51

Urgh. Did not sleep well at all. Dc up super later going to be shattered today.

Nsd planned.

ememem84 · 19/06/2017 06:53

One of my mums cats used to come in the bathroom with us and sit in the sink while we were on the toilet. She'd cry until we turned on the tap for her.

I've had to start taking a bottle of water to bed with me as catface has been caught sticking her face in glasses.

This was last nights bedtime belly rubs.

When ds arrives she will be less indulged. I'm trying to do it now...not letting her in bedroom at nighttime so much etc.

My cat prefers manky water too. He won't touch fresh water but drinks it when it's been hanging around for a few days. He likes drinking from puddles too.

Just woken up to news of what looks like another terrorist attack in London. This is horrific it's getting to the point I can't bear to watch the news.

With all the anger over the fire, the terrorists, Brexit and everything else combined with the heat I can imagine riots starting soon, they usually happen in hot weather when people are fed up.

WreckTangled · 19/06/2017 07:43

Cag you can def have it its so cute it's a lovely mamas and papas one.

We didn't sleep well either.

All gorgeous cat!

I might pop into the garage and buy some couscous for lunch as I don't fancy much else. So should be a LSD. Oh wait ds has swimming later that's £24.

ememem84 · 19/06/2017 07:57

all what a lovely cat! British shorthair? Don't tell catface but they're my faves. My grandma had a blue one. I've always wanted one but they're spendy - I looked at getting a kitten one a while ago and would have had to shell out £600 plus.

I remember grandmas being a bit of a thicky. He was a proper lap cat even though they lived on a farm. Wouldn't go outside. He had to be shown his dinner and almost smoosh his face in it so he'd eat.

So glad catface has character. Ha! She was on bed this morning at 6. Patting my face "wake up food lady!!!" Then yawned in my face. Mmm cat breath.

She must be exhausted though as has retreated to under the bed for daytime naps.

Should be nsd today. Lunchboxes made.

Apparently dneice or dnephew will be born this week!!!! Bil and sil have been told that if things don't happen naturally baby will be delivered by cs on Thursday. Eeeeeek!! I'm so excited for them!!!

Cag it was an Anita one. I think there are several under that brand but I needed to try a J cup, which narrowed it down a lot, and I also wanted white not black (there was another one same size bit cheaper but it only came in dark colours). I don't know whether to hope it fits or not!

SUCH a hot night, our bedroom didn't get below 28C. I am very nervous about keeping a newborn cool - they are supposed to sleep in rooms between 16-20C Hmm

My 'cool' amazon purchases ought to arrive today, I shall try some of them out! After the last few days I really must have an NSD (although I need spring onions - is it cheating if I get DH to buy them?)

SnugglySnerd · 19/06/2017 08:07

Christmas ours slept in just nappies last night. We kept all the upstairs windows open and propped open all the doors to get some air through. I was worried too but that was the best we could do. At least you have your fan!

LonelyOversharer · 19/06/2017 08:40

seacow dd2 is 11 today (how did that go so fast) 2006 was a properly hot year too, I swelled up like a balloon! I got sleeveless vests, and she slept just on the moses basket matress for weeks.

My only baby who never wanted to cosleep, and slept 'properly' from day one. Just packed her off to school with leftover carrot cake, and a whole 'grown up' victoria sponge.

I'm going to break a 14 year streak and buy cream cakes for tea. I have never not made a birthday cake. But I'm baked out, and have no time today, dd2 won't mind I hope and they will be a huge treat for us!!

ChristmasSeacow · 19/06/2017 11:52

I've got a lambskin thing which is meant to be the coolest thing to sleep on. Might try that for her. We had all the windows open last night Snuggly but the air still wasn't moving! I think it is meant to be a bit cooler from the weekend though.

Lonely I don't blame you for being baked out, especially in this heat!

WreckTangled · 19/06/2017 12:02

33 degrees...

SnugglySnerd · 19/06/2017 12:23

My mum swears by opening the loft hatch in hot weather as heat rises so it can escape into the roof. Might be worth a try?

ememem84 · 19/06/2017 12:48

32 degrees here.

Have just collected keys from estate agents. Am free! No more viewings! Got my home back! Yay! Also just somehow spent £98 in joules on baby stuff. Two outfits for niece or nephew so once we know will post one and take the other back (if it's a boy...) and some bits for next spring/summer for baby boy. I shouldn't have bought them. But toooo cute!!!!!!! And 50% off. And I had a £20 voucher for the dept store joules lives in.

Our loft hatch is open. Cats desperate to get up there.

SnugglySnerd · 19/06/2017 13:05

Fluffy my friend's cat once got in the loft. She found out when a little paw came through a hole where she hadn't replaced a spotlight in the bathroom!
