Ps, I have been a frugal failure but would like to think I could return to previous frugal ways!

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/04/2017 21:46

Everybody is welcome Mozart

Welcome back Waitress.

WreckTangled · 14/04/2017 22:11

I'm jealous of all of your lovely nails!

We're going zip wiring today Shock I'm pretty excited. Was quite expensive but Dh and I decided to do it anyway.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/04/2017 22:25

Got a survey so text book is ordered for free. Phew.

Zip wiring sounds scary. I bet it's really exciting though.

MeadowHay · 14/04/2017 23:34

Copper For PIP I think it depends where in the country you are as to who does your assessment, for me it was Capita and the nurse who did mine was either ignorant and incompetent, or willfully callous and deceitful (or a mixture of the two). Sad All those companies are as bad as each other though.

Welcome Mozart.

Em As everyone else said, I guess this means you will probably sell it very quickly though which is a good thing? I don't really know anything about house sales apart from lots of more theoretical things I've learnt studying Land Law this year that are generally not useful for everyday life! Was looking at the rental market in my parents' area today for when DH and I plan to move back to the city in August and nearly spat my tea out! Shock Definitely won't be living so close to them, much to their disappointment Grin.

Tomorrow I have to get some hay and fleece from the pet shop for the guinea pigs as DH is bringing them when he comes next week, and then am going to a our local retail park with my parents and brother. It might still be NSD though as my dad will probs insist on paying for anything I want/need Grin.

SnugglySnerd · 15/04/2017 00:56

Welcome Mozart.

Nice to see you Waitresses. Am I right in thinking you also have babies?

WreckTangled · 15/04/2017 06:42

Argh zip wiring was awesome! 45 metres up!

WreckTangled · 15/04/2017 06:55

This is me Grin

Wow Em, looks amazing! Go you. Smile

needastrongone · 15/04/2017 07:24

Or even Wrecked, I have no idea why I wrote Em!!

thewaitresses · 15/04/2017 07:28

Wow that looks like fun!

Yes I have babies too! Now seven months old, plus an older one too who has just had a very expensive birthday party (our first 'proper' party - ouch! Think we'll go back to a small party at home next year!)

ememem84 · 15/04/2017 07:52

Woah wreck! Looks amazing!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/04/2017 08:09

Welcome Mozart and welcome back waitress.
Looks like fun wreck.

National trust today. Brimham rocks as we have never been. We have had our money's worth and not even got the welcome pack yet. Grin

MrsMozart · 15/04/2017 08:12

Thank you for the welcome folks Grin

Meadow - don't know if any use but we use hay from the saddlers for the rabbuts and guineapigs. It's £4 a bale.

needastrongone · 15/04/2017 08:12

Brimham rocks is awesome life, it's pretty close to us. Enjoy.Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/04/2017 08:18

I thought it was down your way need. Making cheese scones for the pic nic

ememem84 · 15/04/2017 08:29

Riding today so £25.

Must stop at the shop (probably Waitrose) to get loads of lovely fruit. I am a bit ahem blocked up. 😭 Must eat more fruit. This is not a pregnancy symptom I'm enjoying.

Home made red Thai chicken curry and rice for dinner. Need rice. Either brown (full of fibre good for digestion) or the lovely Thai jasmine rice...

Have a voucher for £8 off if I spend £40 in Waitrose. Plus 30p off crisps (Thai crackers here I come!)

Yesterday was an nsd. Tomorrow should be one too.

On Monday we're going to the races. So must also grab a few picnicy things to take with us. I'm annoyed my thermos went mouldy. Courgette soup and sausage rolls would have been lovely for spring picnic.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2017 08:36

Syrup of figs Em. Couple of quid a bottle.

northender · 15/04/2017 08:36

Sounds like it won't take long to sell Em fingers crossed.
How did the choc hot cross buns turn out lonely? We're staying with friends but I still made hot cross buns (my Good Friday tradition) but v traditional, no twists. They took ages to prove as always but eventually were delish. Enjoy the days off lonely
We had quite a lazy day yesterday, Dh & ds went to the football with our friend. I stayed here with dd, friend's wife & daughters. My only spends were £10 on a round of drinks when we walked the dog to the pub!
Today we're all going to a local town. We'll have a walk, some lunch and then travel down to Devon for the next leg of the trip. Looking forward to seeing dnephew again. He's not walking yet but isn't far off now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2017 08:37

Wreck that looks terrifying. I would've sent Dh first!.

WreckTangled · 15/04/2017 08:40

Oh em I used to suffer so much in pregnancy!

ememem84 · 15/04/2017 08:55

fluffy you can actually buy that? I thought it was made up. Will take a look.

I'm also feeling blocked up in the nose and face department too. Hoping that a nice hot shower will ease that though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2017 09:07

Oh it's real, really old remedy. Buy some menthol crystals too, excellent for congestion.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/04/2017 09:29

Morning all Smile

Wreck Shock you are so brave!!

Are you drinking enough water Em you need to increase how much water you drink by loads when you're pregnant.

Dd now has a bad cough, she always seems to get ill on the holidays!! No temp or anything and seems o.kay in herself so am debating whether she is well enough for her riding lesson...

Looks like it will be a quiet day.

ememem84 · 15/04/2017 10:17

girlie I thought I was. Maybe not though. I'm ramping it up today. Water bottle is going everywhere with me.

I've also had a pineapple and cranberry smoothie.

And am going to eat a lot of leafy leaves.
