About 14 pound so far. Bacon butty, hot choc, fish tank filters and fish food. In process of buying a house so need to stop getting bacon butties and hit chocs from cafes. It was looovvveelllly tho.

My waist line would appreciate bacon butty ban too

On the plus side, most of my clothes shopping from yesterday is going back. The negative is it is because they don't fit as I'm a bit chubby Sad. Must stop eating the bacon too

snuggly are they reverse cycling? With formula you should still be feeding on demand and If they have too much they will vomit anyway. I would just go by them and do whatever makes life easiest right now. I doubt you can make them obese by giving them the milk they're asking for Smile

love well done on the interview.
I tried to sell my bed someone said they would be round on Monday but didn't come, so I think in true frugal fashion I will keep the bed and try to dye the cushions a grey colour (cushions are the headboard). So saved in theory £400 (that we didn't gave anyway) and spent £18 on dye.

If people drink wine, M&S are doing 25% off if buy 6 so I bought enough for the month (we drink on the weekend) and it saved us a lot.

I'm still trying to not impulse buy (I'm ignoring the dye). Smile

Thanks cag, if you could explain the double flip. That would be great. I don't need to do multiply just add and subtract. But its good to understand it anyway.

DH has arrived at friend's house and has been sent to the garden with the kids.

He brought some twiglets from the Tesco delivery. He had to, because I told him if he didn't I'd call the baby West Ham.

Good luck with the job interview Love I've been prepping for mine tomorrow they're nerve wracking but just about showing who we are I guess? (The best possible versions of ourselves though of course)
Cag glad you've got your Twiglets now, was afraid you might need to go a bit Mr Bean with the bits of branch!
I've spent £6.40 in M&S on tights and a paper then £3 on hair grips and dry shampoo today. All but the dry shampoo is to try and get me as prepared for tomorrow and any other interviews afterwards as I can be, the dry shampoo I have no excuse but my slovenliness. Shouldn't spend anything more today

Just seen NHS staff will be getting a 1% pay rise this year. That's terrible, I know for a lot of you frugaleers, especially after years of similar rises. Mine will be similar (but my job isn't life or death)

Yesterday was just £15 cash in the coop on mince and rolls and bits for homemade burgers for tea. It was a lovely day, and my willow hedge is in!! Got the tunnel/arch to go, but need to dig out a lot of ground elder before I get to that.

Today did supermarkets, £42 in aldi, £37 in morrisons, but used £10 vouchet, so £27 really. Got about £12 cash left. But, ex put money in on time (faints), and I only went £33 into my overdraft

Bike ride today, 24 miles. Still a bit misty on the hills, but will mothball my winter bike now, and get out my flash carbon summer jobby (who I have missed).

Thanks, Wreck I think you are right. I think they are mixing up day and night as they sleep practically all day. I've just taken them out for a walk to try and perk them up in daylight. They slept through it!

snuggly newborns are supposed to eat and sleep! They sound perfect. I think with bf vs. ff you never really know how much milk they take with bf, except that they have a full tummy and fall asleep. With ff I think the tendancy is to obsess about how much has been drunk as you can see it (I've known several mums jot down every 1/4 ounce in a notebook, I felt very lax just latching my baby on until it was asleep).

But I don't think you can overfeed them at this age. They take what they want then puke, poo or sleep, depending! You must cut yourself some slack, sorting two babies at once is no mean feat! Flowers

You're quite right. I think I'm finding it hard to be rational after only sleeping for 5 hours in the last 48! I am enjoying the lovely babies though, starting to see their little personalities now.

I think the next few weeks might be pretty tiring Snuggly, just be as kind to yourself as you can be. Once they sleep though, or at least for a decent stretch, things will improve. It's bloody hard with no sleep.

need better dh got hoodwinked by the evil clarins ladies than me. Phew! Plus I can play with my new goodies.

Tonight's agenda is as follows:

  • dinner on (jacket potato and Ragu with cheese)
-empty washing machine and put new load in
  • fake tan
  • track pants on
  • eat dinner
  • home made facial
  • choose cute outfit for tomorrow
  • file paperwork (if I can be bothered)
  • start pulling docs re our flat (boiler, deeds, window guarantees etc for potential new buyer)

Totally shallow indulgent evening (apart from the last two). But sometimes it's necessary.

I think sleep deprivation can do funny things to you Snuggly def do whatever you have to to survive! Did you try bfing at all? I only ask as am wondering whether bfing them some of the time might be a bit easier? I mix fed dd from birth and also had a break of not bfing for nearly a week when she was newborn (i was in hospital due to subsequent surgery) but was able to go back to it. Part of the reason I was keen to bf was pure laziness Blush

Had a busy day at work and then traffic was awful getting dd, home now and tired. Dd has footie tonight which she wants to go to as its trophy night!

Need to sort out dds school clubs and dinners, think its going to be £36 for school dinners and £20 for the drama group.

Someone was really rude to me at work today. I was on the phones so not face to face. I said I was going to end the call because he was being rude and we weren't getting anywhere. He told me he was going to come down and 'cause shit' Grin I said back to him in my best ghetto accent 'you come down and cause shit and I'll call the police!' Crazy man.

Spends: £20 on a really tasty curry out with a friend I hadn't seen since last summer. Frugal in a way for the feast we just had. I've wanted one since Need mentioned she had been out for curry last week.
