I found that with sainsburys but it was the zips going in my case. Lovely well fitting jeans but not long lasting. I took a day of to go jeans shopping and ended up getting 2 pairs from tkmaxx (1st shop)

babsmam · 10/03/2016 07:55

Wreck have you tried googling them or eBay? Sometimes outlet sites have discon lines

lilacclery · 10/03/2016 08:06

Fuzz I hope you got some sleep after that
Girlie your dd is being looked after & probably having a fantastic time she'll be home before you know it

This thread is filling up fast we'll be on a new one soon Grin

I used a €5 off €25 spend last night in SuperValu bought dds Easter egg & an Easter book, and a few groceries €33.02 must do a shopping list for aldi today to do after my class tonight.
Last nights class was pitiful earned €15.60 for myself(actually €1.25 as I've the prepaid members money spent Sad) and au pair cost me €10 as she had 2 extra hours. So many occasions at the moment Mother's Day valentines Easter st Patrick's school holidays the list goes on

Going to rest up today because feel very tired after doing class last night & I plan to return to work tomorrow

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 08:27

Might be worth a try babs not sure what they're called but I'll have a look Smile

fuzzpig · 10/03/2016 08:48

:o Thank you Wreck! :) Yes, any recommendations for places to eat would be great please if you know of any Thanks

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 08:57

There's loads of places in Chichester itself. Is it lakeside you're staying at? There's a harvester too which is obviously cheap and cheerful it's called the barn. The hospital is very good too Grin although hopefully you won't need that! You've got most of the big chain restaurants in town. There's also bowling, cinema, playground in priory park which is pretty good.

lilacclery · 10/03/2016 10:30

Inspired by em I just put my wedding dress & several more dresses up for sale on two Facebook groups Smile

lilacclery · 10/03/2016 10:53

Two dresses sold €10

Ipsos · 10/03/2016 11:16

Fuzz ds says thanks so much for the pigeon video. He likes it. Smile

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 12:15

Right, I took out £40 cash which dh said I could have. Went to the library, for dd a book, ds two books and I got myself Mary berrys cookery course.

Second class stamp 54p to send stuff to the dvla.

£4.38 light bulbs as ours blew last night.

£8.50 Costa Blush

50p tesco on pita bread.

Will need £15 for my book people order at work.

Then spent £25 on petrol and an in car phone holder.

So fairly spendy but all good stuff. Plus I live my new car it's so nice and easy to drive unlike that bloody BMW Grin

northender · 10/03/2016 12:41

Afternoon all!
2 busy days at work since I last posted.
Have had to have our built in combi oven/micro taken away as the microwave has stopped working. Hopefully it'll be something simple and cheap to sort out. It's not in guarantee or anything so have got a good local firm to look at it.
Architect came this morning to look at our loft & quote for design/planning/building regs etc Shock. It's really exciting but daunting too.

I'm waiting now for Ovo people to come and fit a smart gas meter. I think the electricity one is smart and so shouldn't need changing. Then we'll really know how much teenage ds' marathon showers are costing Grin

Unfrugally had to pay £5 of library fines today, but consoled myself with the fact that it is still very cheap compared to buying books. Need to meal plan for the next week. Will post that later

Ememem84 · 10/03/2016 13:08

£84 on Two!!! Two!!! Bras. dam my giant boobie genes

Necessary spend. My white and nude ones are getting a bit scrappy. I replaced old ones with exact same bras. I could have gone to m&s or new look but I like the style fit and feel of these. don't like the price so much

Leftover stir fry for lunch. Yum.

Need to buy fruit from the market later. But will do that after work so I can delay the getting to the car. Hopefully by the time I get there after shopping I'll won't have to wait so long in the queue.

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 13:21

I'm jealous of your big boob gene

lilacclery · 10/03/2016 14:02

Sold two more dresses I'm €35 richer than this morning

fuzzpig · 10/03/2016 14:19

Just popping on as I am INSANELY busy and rushed off my feet right now but...

DH GOT THE FREAKING JOB

:o

I didn't know how I'd feel about it until he told me, and I felt overwhelming relief and excitement. So all is well. He has another week off after our holiday and then starts so it's a good compromise. He will continue looking for a job that is at his level but it will no longer be urgent and he can be more selective.

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 14:22

Brilliant news fuzz!

lilacclery · 10/03/2016 15:57

Good to hear new car is making you happy wreck
Dh just told me tracker mortgages are now down to 0% this means our mortgage will not be costing us any interest GrinGrinGrin

needastrongone · 10/03/2016 16:01

I have teenagers, DS will spend 20 minutes in the shower, then put on dirty clothes?!! Put oh yes, I feel the pain of the water (and food) consumption.

Brilliant news fuzz, so chuffed for you. xx

Well done on the dress sales lila

I do not want big boobs. DD has them, but a very petite frame like me. We have to get her bras from Bravisimo. I can't seem to help her dress, as my boobs are tiny, my friend gives her hints and tips as she's the same.

Been a touch spendy, but I've been out and about all day.

£28 nails and eye brows/lashes.
£14 Aldi
£18 Asda, I bought a wonky veg box, I will post pictures soon. £3.50 for a massive pile of veg. Plus, lots of shampoo.
Picked up some stuff from Next, so me of which will go back.

Tomorrow, I am in the house, I hate 'errand' days.

northender · 10/03/2016 16:14

Great news fuzz, really happy for you, and that you get a bit of time together before it starts.

Just spent £1.50 on a fab quilting book from the charity shop. I had gone in to look for fabric but came out with that....

Colliefeatures · 10/03/2016 16:33

Yay Fuzz! High five to the fuzz family Cake

So so happy for you guys. Smile

We're beginning to get excited about DHs new job too! It's going to be amazing. And his commute and new job location should open up more opportunities for me too. As he'll be commuting to the town where 95% of jobs in my sector are. Very exciting!

Sainsburys is down and I need to change the shopping that's due tomorrow. As I already have some bits that'll carry over to next week (found buried in the freezer!). I think the latest I can change the shop is this evening so it better be back up ASAP. Eeek!

Successful NSD today. Which is pretty amazing considering I'm in the mood to buy loads of new clothes. Blush

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 10/03/2016 16:37

Great news fuzz.

Tonight we have sausage bake for dinner basically some "posh dogs" from m&s found I'm bottom chest freezer from last summer in a tray with tinned potatoes sliced peppers (we chop in half n slice 3 and use half n freeze half) mushroom n carrots n sweet potato (basically fridge bits that need using), covered in olive oil and paprika n bake for 45mins so will pop on while dfo nursery n childminders run literally had 30mins to pop in home so prepped that and having 5mins now before I dash back out

Wolfcub · 10/03/2016 16:48

WreckTangled · 10/03/2016 16:50
