Babs, go back you might need tablets. I had drops and tablets for a stye and that's not as bad as conjunctivitis.

I'm cooking southern fried chicken

WreckTangled · 25/02/2016 08:45

Oh babs I would get an appointment or maybe a phone call to see what they advise they may well want to see you. You can't be too careful with eyes.

babsmam · 25/02/2016 08:48

I've got an appointment for 1015

lilacclery · 25/02/2016 08:59

Maybe it's more than conjunctivitis? Dd often had black circles from it and a puffy cheek but she was small so couldn't tell me if it was sore also

colliepirate · 25/02/2016 09:07

Oh Babs that sounds extremely uncomfortable. Really hoping your GP will prescribe something more effective.

It's a beautiful sunny day here.

Fluffy I think they should put everyone automatically on a 12 month payment plan. Like most other household bills. Grin

lilacclery · 25/02/2016 09:18

Sounds good fluffy and manageable too

WreckTangled · 25/02/2016 09:25

I like paining my council tax over 10 months because we then use the two month free for important things going to London Grin

fuzzpig · 25/02/2016 09:52

Just signing in. Thank you for the kind messages on the previous thread Thanks

Not feeling so bad now thankfully.

lilacclery · 25/02/2016 09:54

Great to hear that fuzz how did the furniture reorganisation go?

colliepirate · 25/02/2016 11:25

Missing you Fuzz Flowers

colliepirate · 25/02/2016 11:32

Next weeks mealplan

Chicken and veg korma & naans
Jacket potato, Tuna and mixed bean salad
Fish, chips and peas
Chilli con carne
Tuna pasta bake
Salmon and veggie pesto pasta
Sausage roast

Ive lost touch with frugal meals & frugal snacks Blush I've been Googling for ideas and swapping loads of stuff around.

I find it really hard to make sure DS is eating enough goodness without buying the same stuff every week. When I want to try something new it tends to cost extra.

Confused

I was just coming on babs to say get thee to your GP, but then see you have an appointment, hope it went well and you have some answers. Sounds like it has gotten into your sinuses, happens to DP he always ends up on huge quantities of antibiotics.

Realised last night that the little car is out of MOT Blush, it taxed just fine three weeks ago, so I thought nothing more about it. It is now at the garage, hope it won't be too much.

Glad you're feeling a bit better fuzz the threads not the same without you!

babsmam · 25/02/2016 12:10

I now have oral antibiotics s and they have taken a swab. Rest of the week off work which means no ot but hey £8.20

lilacclery · 25/02/2016 12:20

Sounds good collie lots of fish in there, this is something I need to include more of.
Next weeks meals will be challenging for us, dc are going to childminder for the week. They will eat dinner there but depending on what it was they may or may not eat another meal at home. There's always yogurts as it will be after 6 some evenings when they're home, it depends on dh's work schedule. They will be eating all 3 meals out of our house some days.

My slow cooker will get a bit more use and my batch cooking from last weekend will sort us out too. Shopping List is fairly small hopefully can keep it that way. I've a joint of beef, full chicken, and a gammon so that will top up the dinners and lunches.

WreckTangled · 25/02/2016 14:22

Hope the work quickly babs.

I just got home and ds is asleep so I'm sitting in the car.

£17.75 on the farm place I got ds in as a two year old to save £2 Blush and £1 on a ride that wasn't included.

needastrongone · 25/02/2016 15:48

Glad you went back to the doctors babs, I nearly posted this morning but didn't get chance before work.

Great carrot cake.

Fluffy You are right, I should freeze the thai paste in batches. I am really good with waste usually, but this week a small pot of pasta, and half a tub of hummus have gone to waste.

NSD.

CremeEggThief · 25/02/2016 16:18

NSD.

Hope the pills do their work soon, Babs.
Glad to see most of us have found their way back and welcome to any newbies.

Bloody hell have lost 2 posts, phone doing something strange. Will try again later!

Pointlessfan · 25/02/2016 16:58

Seems to be working again. Hope you feel better soon babs, that sounds nasty.
DD is no longer constipated and it was a NSD. The bad news is I've lost my voice!

colliepirate · 25/02/2016 17:08

Hope you are on the mend now babs

Just made a frittata for tea for later. I'm finding myself getting "freaked out" by eggs. The older I get the less I like them Blush I'm such an idiot.

Pointlessfan · 25/02/2016 17:40

I'm the same collie, I have to absolutely smother a frittata in brown sauce, I couldn't eat any other sort of egg e.g. fried, boiled. Funnily enough I can happily eat them disguised in a cake!

babsmam · 25/02/2016 17:52

Gah just lost a long post

babsmam · 25/02/2016 17:54

I'm fussy about eggs too
Hiya fuzz and other returners
Thanks for all the well wishes. Not sure there is any improvement, quite the contrary, but see what tomorrow brings with a day of 500mg antibiotics.

babsmam · 25/02/2016 17:56

Pleased DD has done what she needs to pointless
I've often fibbed about dc ages especially when they have just turned and there is a price difference
