Welcome new people.

Evil I live in the South East so I feel your pain.

needastrongone · 09/07/2015 21:06

Popping my head in, I have had an incredibly busy week.

2 NSD in a row, then fuel for the car and the horse box yesterday at £60 each. Today was £60 at Aldi. DH has taken £20 from my purse for the pub quiz.

Hello to the lurkers that have de-lurked.

Congratulations evil!

I'll try and have a look on Monday.

Outwith · 09/07/2015 21:32

I counted £107 in change, then I ran out of bags Smile. It's amazing how quickly it builds up.

NK5BM3 · 09/07/2015 21:37

£3 yesterday on tips, boss paid for dinner. £88!

Today £5 for a BBQ in aid for a local homeless charity.

Well done evil
My spends this week have been reasonable. Lunch from deli counter tues €5, €20 to babysitter wed which proved afterwards to be not required but didnt know that at the time, €50 diesel Thursday-have a long journey for ds hospital appt so will need diesel again before next payday.

lilacclery · 10/07/2015 05:49

€5.78 on a phone cover on eBay too for my new phone.
Over past few weeks I've bought a lot of things I'd held off on for a long time - radio for car, New tyres, phone, dress & shoes....now that's all done I need to refocus on my credit cards once more!

I also got the Tesco cheese invite Smile

Yesterday spends was 2 x 4pack Ovex (glamour life we lead!), £1 radox, 60 coke.

Today, 2 x £10 for class teachers collections, covers 8 teachers.

Flight opens up online tomorrow where I get to add baggage (and pay for it!) hopefully not too expensive as I'll have issues with just hold luggage!

Outwith · 10/07/2015 07:19

Argh, I'm so resistant to the idea of working out my expenditure or meal planning Confused. Can someone please tell me how daft I'm being.

I'm planning to meal plan for this w/e (baby steps Grin). Our usual MO is to shop randomly, but not to buy a lot of food for meals somehow, then to scrape through with top up shops.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/07/2015 07:34

Out

You are being daft.

Now go and do a 2 day menu incl snacks and a treat.

Remember, shops are the enemy of bank balances.

I have seen some other threads starting new ones before the old one had filled up - I think that confuses me more!! I reckon we are o.kay until we get to page 39 at least Grin

Feeling so unmotivated today, need to do housework, sort out filing, pop to Lidls, ring EE - ugh Sad not in the mood for any of it!!

Out I understand your resistance to meal planning, I am the same as I don't like to be tied into cooking something that I might then not fancy iyswim! I tend to go with a rough idea of what we will be eating for the week but not tie myself down to specifics, I think the key is not to over buy fresh stuff so you end up wasting food. I am much more careful in this respect than I have ever been in the past.

I'm hoping for a NSD today, we're off to the park later with a packed lunch, so hoping to avoid unnecessary spending.
I'm waiting for my new life diary thing to arrive so I've got all my meal planning/ budgeting and things all in one place!

£59 at Aldi but included 2 sets of bike gloves and 1 pair of sand shoes. Inset day today at son's school otherwise would be hard at work pushing paper around!! Wink
