And I need to menu plan, as I haven't for this week.

Have plenty in, but need to arrange it in my head. Plus bake.

Kind of just spent £50, but DH is buying this for me for Christmas, some beauty products I use from Boots, not cheap at £25 for a moisturiser, but on the 3 for 2 offer.

lilacclery · 15/12/2014 17:29

Thanks spotty and cremeeggthief
I had planned not to buy most of the stuff to help our waistlines & bank balance but hadn't shared my thoughts with dh now I dont have to!! He's a generation older than me & a great believer in having stuff in case people call!! Which I then eat!

Nsd today plus Tesco price promise came through with €7.88 voucher for me so that'll cover next months delivery pass.

574ejones · 15/12/2014 18:52

NSD for me today. Got my pay slip today and was pleasantly surprised!

lilacclery · 15/12/2014 19:08

Woo hoo 574jones

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/12/2014 19:08

Enjoy the hamper lilac!

girliefriend · 15/12/2014 19:54

Umm £3.20 on posting a parcel and £1.20 on chocolate Blush in my defence I had had a hard morning at work!! So that counts as a LSD right?!

Dd cold and shivery tonight, after school club said she seemed really tired Sad hoping she can make it through to the end of term before coming down with anything. Its the Christmas nativity tomorrow and she plays a spider Hmm Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 15/12/2014 20:14

A spider Grin I love it

Dd is still poorly. More sick and a high temperature.

girliefriend · 15/12/2014 20:23

Oh no Spotty, thats not good Sad your poor dd, seem to be a massive amount of bugs this year. Wonder if the mild Autumn is to blame......

trainersandaches · 15/12/2014 22:48

Good point on the germs Girlie!

Well done on the hamper Lilac.

I had a LSD - a tenner on my Oyster card.

lilacclery · 16/12/2014 01:37

girlie a spider? I love it! Dd is a star!

Thanks for all the good wishes x
Hope all of your dcs get better really quickly x

sportinguista · 16/12/2014 06:16

Should be LSD as only need milk and possibly a pack of eggs. Going to walk to town to get something for Dsis and Bil as just them to get but mostly going to bake edible treats and get wine etc.

DS Christmas party today so he will probably eat too much cake and chocolate and want very little tea. He's been ok this year no bugs in sight although his little friend was off school with a tummy bug so was a bit worried about him getting it as well, but he seems to be ok so far. Hope all the poorly DCs get better soon so they can enjoy Christmas. You're probably right girlie we do need a good cold spell to kill all those bugs!

Heard back from interview, against all the odds they really like me, they want me to do a larger piece of work as a kind of 'second interview' which will be done over the Christmas break, but as it's around 16 hours work they will be paying my freelance rate for it, so if I can ace it and get job too it's a win-win situation.

babsmam · 16/12/2014 06:41

LSD yesterday but I forget what. Tired with bug Central here too and disturbed sleep for the third night.
Result sporting well done and good luck.
4 days to go to the break......

lilacclery · 16/12/2014 09:31

Well done sportinguista

sportinguista · 16/12/2014 09:32

Spoke too soon DH is now bug central in our house and he's far more moany than DS would be! Hopefully he'll start to feel better soon and not be grouchy for weekend when Dsis and Bil are coming up.

Cautiously optimistic about the job as not received brief yet so not sure of extent of what they might ask me to do, just know I have to ace it...

Well took my friend into town with the donated money to get some Christmas presents, we did quite well and each child got at least 2 presents each.

The Nativity was great, my dd was an amazing spider Grin she seems bit happier today, think an early night helped!

So for me actually a NSD, The Muppets Christmas Carol is on now so feeling actually quite Christmassy Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 16/12/2014 16:09

Dh has the vom now! I'm the only one not to have it. Positive thinking will spare me, right??

Great news on the job/interview!

Bit spendy. £15 is tesco on lunch and dinner. Didn't think planned dinner of curry was a good idea Grin

£3 in post office.

CremeEggThief · 16/12/2014 16:46

Congrats Sporting Smile.

Sorry to hear so many are still poorly. Fingers crossed for a healthy Christmas for everyone.

£16.86 Lidl.
£1.10 on bus fare.
£10.20 Tesco.
£28.16 total.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/12/2014 17:32

Only frequent hand washing can save you spotty. Alcohol gel doesn't work on sickness bugs.

Well done Sporting

Girlie I'm sure she was the best spider ever.

NSD.

needastrongone · 16/12/2014 18:10

Thought that was a myth Fluffy re hand gel?

Fingers crossed all the bugs bog off (BOGOF?!) for Christmas. I do think it's been a long, hard term. Even my DC at 15 and 13 are run down and ready to finish.

girlie Go Spider DD Xmas Grin

Bad day for spends - but I think that's it now.

£25 wormer for pony, who is pretty slim and I need to rule this out.
£21 Home bargains, cleaning stuff, face wipes and some stocking fillers for DC, chocolate.
£100 cash withdrawal.
£23 - farm shop, lots of chicken breasts, eggs, bacon, a ham/gammon.
£50 - Sainsbury's, 3 gift cards for teenage nephews/nieces and a mahoosive bottle of sunflower oil to feed the pony with, weight gain etc.

God, I need petrol tomorrow. Will somehow get through to pay day though. Just.

Eggs and bacon for tea. Easy and cheap. Bacon from the farm shop is amazing, thick and tasty and half the price of supermarket bacon.

574ejones · 16/12/2014 18:15

Well done on reaching the next stage Sporting!

So sorry so many of you have poorly children, let's hope they are all okay by next week.

£3 spent on lunch, and I will indulge myself and order a family diary tonight - can't live without it!

needastrongone · 16/12/2014 18:16

Also forgot my Christmas nails, shellac for £15. Which seems pathetic, given the tragedy in Pakistan. A rare treat.

needastrongone · 16/12/2014 18:17

Xmas Grin well done sporting

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/12/2014 18:27

Alcohol gel only works on bacteria. Sickness bugs are viral.
