Oops just spent £36 on the Boden site, in my defence it was 30% off with free p&p and I got two pairs of age 11yo trousers for that!! Plus dd put two pairs of trousers on today and then had to take them off as they were too small I think she grew overnight!!

I don't know about Harper's & Queen, I did have Harper's Bazaar in hospital and suspect it is what Harper's & Queen has become. It was similar to Tatler but less insane hilarious.

NSD for me today. DDs spent £65 each of Christmas money from grandparents and uncle. DH paid for lunch and ice-creams.

Tomorrow I need to get groceries and bloody art supplies for school. Then Monday stocking fillers and 1 more gift for DDs.

I plan to splurge on a black handbag after Christmas as my death stare has not stopped DH saying the one I have is a Maggie Thatcher bag so I'm somewhat put off using it.

Our tree is going up tomorrow, we are departing a few days after Christmas so it will come down on the 28th. Looks like we'll have house sitters.

Hello all, I have been MIA for most of November. Our new kitchen has been fitted, and we have been living on convenience food, takeaways and meals out. It's been an expensive month, but actually I think it could have been worse.
I spent £88 in Aldi on Thurs, which included £15 on booze and £10 on nappies. Got lots of food so probably less than £10 in top ups needed during the next 10 days or so. Also spent £15.61 in Home Bargains on kitchen stuff.
Its so lovely being able to cook again

LSD yesterday £4 on some fund raising bits and £12 in boots. Got my paracetamol free though

Not sure about today the local rspb has an event on and it's a lovely couple of hours out. Will need to buy pic nic stuff or cafe it as running out of stuff as we are eating cupboard surprise at the minute. Hhmmmm

Was planning to go into town today so DCs could get their presents to each other and for daddy (they already chose mine) but Tesco is coming at an awkward time, DSD has lots of coursework to do and we have tons of housework to catch up on, so I'm not sure it's going to happen!

Dh spent £50 at Aldi yesterday. Went to friends for dinner. Tonight again other friends for dinner. Yay!! Haven't batched cook though. And am still in bed. Have to be out of the house in 40 min. Kids still in pj. Whoops.

collie I'm short too and big hipped/thighed - I like river island jeans and Jeggings, they have a style that is quite high waisted, I have them in indigo and want a pale blue and maybe a colour in the NY when I can actually wear jeans again, atm it's loose dresses etc cos of my surgical wound.

Sorry I meant to say that they do a 7/8 ankle skimming "normal" jean which is actually better than petite range, I just get those.

I bought a cowl neck jumper & belted chiffon dress & slippers for me in Penney(primark in uk) as well as some frozen Knicks & my little pony pjs for dd, shes doing very well in not bedwetting so deserved a treat €58. Thankfully today's my last day's holiday so wont be in the shops for a while again

In a travelodge atm, had Jamies for dinner for my upcoming big bday. Very spendy but not my money

Going xmas shopping and lunch before going home. ..will be more frugal tomorrow I promise. .
