I have been buying this for years and suddenly occured to me just how much I love it and how little it costs!

Tesco everyday value hair gel 15p! It's not too sticky, nice smell and fits in my hall table drawer :)

What do you love that costs very little?

Agree with WhatsGoingOnEh. I always use Sainsbury's Basics chocolate for baking. 30p for a 100g bar. It means I can make lovely brownies on the cheap! I haven't had any complaints!

First ever post. Nothing to say. Except, perhaps, YAY! Grin

Sainsbury's basic sweet corn. Think it's about 30p, and its divine.

And yes there is a difference between sweet corn!

BigRedBall · 15/10/2014 13:08

ooooh, loving this thread.

Mine are:

Tesco everyday value chocolate spread
Tesco everyday value 3 way chips
Tesco own brand cornflakes
Tesco everyday value multigrain hoops (Cheerios)
Oh and the best of all: Tesco milk chocolate digestive biscuits. They taste BETTER than mcvities. Really. They do.

PumpkinPaye · 15/10/2014 13:11

Oh one more:

Tesco everyday value choc chip cake bars. 50p for pack of 5 individual wrapped cakes. Really lovely.

(I don't work for tesco btw...)

Oops name change fail. Blush

The KTC brand beans/chickpeas which are usually 3 or 4 for £1 in world food aisles. The best cooked, creamiest ones out there. Sainsburys normal chickpeas were vile and hard and crunchy last time we had those.

Lidl tinned sardines in oil. 40p.

Lidl salted roasted peanuts. 48p for 200g.

Lidl fruit shortie biscuits, 39p and their oaties "hobnobs" 49p

Aldi moser roth 85% cocoa chocolate. £1.09 for 125g. Gorgeous. Prefer it to Lindt.

DoAndroidsDream · 15/10/2014 18:52

Tesco's value sanitary towels are 17p for a pack of 10. Obviously they aren't as good as the compact Always style of pad. But ok for wearing at home when you can change more frequently, or at the end when it's really light.

EvilRingahBitch · 15/10/2014 20:21

I agree that cheap and cheerful World Food Aisle chickpeas are the way to go. And I always stock up on Lidl chocolate when they're doing it for 17p Shock.
