I have been buying this for years and suddenly occured to me just how much I love it and how little it costs!

Tesco everyday value hair gel 15p! It's not too sticky, nice smell and fits in my hall table drawer :)

What do you love that costs very little?

Morrisons value tomato soup. DC love it as it's not as sickly as Heinz yet still full of flavour and not watery. Bargain at 20 something pence

FullOfChoc · 04/10/2014 20:37

I bought the tesco value jaffa cakes - everyone loved them!

digger123 · 04/10/2014 20:42

Asdas cheapo crunchy peanut butter - better than the other supermarket's "savers" versions

meglet · 04/10/2014 20:56

Sainsburys basics tinned potatoes. 20p. I use them in salads and slice them for frittata.

And sainsburys basics sweet popcorn, £1 (I think). Bigger packet and cheaper than all the other brands.

HHH3 · 04/10/2014 21:06

Tesco every day nappies. £1.51 for a pack of 20. We use them for night time and they never leak.

snozzlemaid · 04/10/2014 21:07

Tesco value hairspray for 37p. Best hairspray I've ever used.

youbethemummylion · 04/10/2014 21:09

Sainsburys Basic hot chocolate its cheap, Fairtrade and tastes nicer than Cadburys

threepiecesuite · 04/10/2014 21:16

Lidl Fin Carre milk chocolate, 35p.
The best tasting chocolate ever.

Aldi tinned baby carrots. They are under 50p and so sweet and delicious.

IsChippyMintonExDirectory · 04/10/2014 21:18

Soft cheese from morrisons (52p) - it complements everything!

Azquilith · 04/10/2014 21:21

The cheapest orange juice going from Asda. Yummy.

squiggleirl · 04/10/2014 21:21

What this thread is showing me, is how much we pay for the same stuff in Ireland. Can only compare the Tesco prices as we don't have Sainsburies, Asda or Morrisson's, but wow, some things cost 3 times more here.....

RedKites · 04/10/2014 21:28

Tesco pink lemonade. 60p a bottle or 3 for £1.50.

PigletJohn · 04/10/2014 21:29

Aldi mayo

And their swiss choc.

lucysmam · 04/10/2014 21:44

Lidl mayo is lovely and creamy for 79p.

And Tesco Value pull ups for nighttime £1.50 for 18 & never any leaks or moans of uncomfyness from my four yr old.

Redglitter · 04/10/2014 21:54

Asdas own Diet Coke. £1.65 for 8 litres

sara11272 · 04/10/2014 22:00

Asda smart price dark chocolate - 30p for a big bar

IsChippyMintonExDirectory · 04/10/2014 22:48

Lidl towergate choc digestive biscuits are about 60p per pack and much nicer than mcvities!

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 04/10/2014 23:15

Tesco value tins of garden peas about 15p

Aldi bags of choc eclairs, 24p

Sparklypants · 04/10/2014 23:24

Morrisons value nappies. £1.45 for 20, are the only ones that don't leave my DS with a red raw, bleeding bum. Also no leaks (unlike pampers).
I don't even shop in morrisons but make a special trip once a month for these Smile

I used pampers for a year and then boots for another year. These are by far superior imo.

wantacatplease · 05/10/2014 07:07

Sparkly I find the same with Asda's smart price nappies! They seem thicker or something and DD never leaks.

BabyStone · 05/10/2014 07:21

It's either Tesco or Asda ' s own brand Milk chocolate, 40p, can taste it's not Galaxy but just as nice iyswim

Morrisons Bag of toffees, think they were 25p!

Asda- their own version of a snickers but is £1 for a pack of 7. Where as a pack of 5 snickers is closer to £2 unless on offer £1
so, cheaper, more of them and tastes the same!

Not a chocolate/sweets addict..honest!

Gatekeeper · 05/10/2014 07:26

another vote for Aldi tinned potatoes; they are a brilliant standby for curries, frittatas or even just sliced and fried with some onion and bacon

Uptheairymountain · 05/10/2014 07:53

Asda's value cornflakes - 750g for about 46p and I think they're the nicest on the market.

Chocoholic36 · 05/10/2014 07:59

Tesco value lemon curd I think it's about 25p

Also love lidls dark chocolate 35p or even better when it's a weekend offer for 17p

Gremlingirl · 05/10/2014 08:53

Tesco everyday value chocolate chip cake bars are 50p and v delicious.
