If you didn't get the jab, would you consider having it now?

You'd better be quick if you're healthy and under 50...

"The Telegraph understands the Government is also preparing to wind down the open offer of the first two doses over the coming months. The move will mean unvaccinated healthy under-50s will soon not be able to get a Covid jab unless one is recommended by a medical professional."

As I said before, not sure what you want from me but if I can help I am happy to.

I don't 'want' anything from you. God alive.

And I don't believe you .

@sunglassesonthetable what's wrong?
What can I do to make it better for you?

@Biochemist that video is an old conversation, no need to go into it again.
Check out the pages back if you didn't read them.
No need to go through it all again!

But she is looking for truth I think.
Which is better than this squabbling!

So no, you cannot answer the questions as to what claims she is making about vaccines, what investigation she's conducting, or what evidence she's looking into.

Presuambly, because as has been pointed out, her video contains no actual information or coherant statements.

What is the point in posting these things on a thread about vaccines?

Check out the pages back if you didn't read them.
No need to go through it all again!
You weren't able to answer anyone's questions last time, so I'm not entirely sure how you can say "no need to go through it all again" @HelpfulMonkey

Weird, when I tried to click on that thread, it wasn't there, but I do remember it, I do still wonder the same thing, and I agree, it's really interesting. So, what's your point?

Oh, and mine was that you're an extremely disingenuous shit stirrer and quite possibly a liar. Have a good night (once you've clammed down)!

Sorry I fudged the link: www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4445347-To-wonder-this-about-claims-of-media-conspiracy
I didn't have a point, it was just really interesting and I was grateful to read it.

Sorry you have that opinion of me, I'm very calm and having a lovely evening thank you, but if you would like to abuse me that's your call and you are welcome to but I will not rise to the bait!

I was genuinely interested in that thread you posted and it was an interesting read, but for some reason you have taken that as an opportunity to insult me, sorry about that and let me know if there is anything else?

HelpfulMonkey · 06/02/2023 23:36

@queriesqueries another one!
What do you want?
As far as I can tell this MEP is looking into the vaccine, that's about it.
I'm not making any statements or claims, it is something that is happening which could be of interest.
Anything else is just noise, and there seems to be a lot of noise today!

HelpfulMonkey · 06/02/2023 23:38

It's not that I don't want to answer the question, it's just all a big mess and I am unsure why it is going on

MeetPi · 06/02/2023 23:42

HelpfulMonkey · 06/02/2023 23:24

@MeetPi sorry if I have come across badly or offended you, not my intention at all.
I do not want to deflect from any point and I am just trying to be clear.
I think I have 3/4 posters 'attacking' me in some way now, not sure why or what I have done wrong but I will just do my best to answer questions if asked and help who I can!
If you feel I have a bad intention I am sorry about that, I do not, but I cannot govern how you feel!
This is a thread about Covid and for some reason you all seem to want to make it about me?!

I just told you, in part, where you've been going wrong in your posting and putting other posters on edge. It's fine to have other views, but to constantly needle others about their intellect or mental/emotional health is really not acceptable. Additionally, when you weave in falsehoods such as "I teach degree-level English" when your writing and grammar is nowhere near that standard, what else can we trust from your posts?

Just be yourself. Don't insult other people. You'll get on better.

But you can't even explain what she's investigating? Don't you get how ridiculous that is?!

Is she suspicious of how they were developed? Or is she worried about side effects? Who they were given to? That they don't work? That COVID wasn't a big deal and vaccines weren't needed? Which vaccine is she concerned about? All of them?

What evidence is she looking into that hasn't already been heavily scrutinised by the medical and scientific community?

Surely you can't appreciate not being able to answer this basic questions indicates you're just repeating claims without thinking for yourself.

HelpfulMonkey · 06/02/2023 23:47

@MeetPi I'm all good.
I'm not needling people intentionally.
I have taught lots in universities across Europe and the UK, lots of people on here seem to want to have a pop, which is fine, it's late, my spelling can be bad but this is an internet forum not research!
I'm not getting assessed on my answers here.
Just doing the best I can

What's a big mess?

You keep making these kinds of claims but whenever anyone asks you for some kind of evidence, just deflect and swerve.

Perfectly open to updating my opinions, based on the available evidence, but am not going to blindly agree with something because someone tweets a statement with some alarm emojis.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:01

@Biochemist I don't think I have made any claims, I don't think I have done any deflection but whatever?
I am sure there is information out there and people can find it, anyone can find it but there is a mega pile on going on!
I'm not asking you to do anything and I don't get all the drama.
People are asking questions?
There are answers?
It's not my responsibility to do anything for anyone!

It isn't your spelling. It's your grammar and word choice in general. Excellent writers would never use the excuse "It's just an Internet forum".

I don't believe any of that.

And no one talks like you do by accident. All those digs and put downs.

"just doing the best I can" Give me a break.

sunglassesonthetable · 07/02/2023 00:20

If you're getting paid for this. You're doing shite. An F or below.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:21

@MeetPi i I am sorry you feel that way and that my typing is not up to the standard that you require!
I'm just doing my best and it's late and good spelling on Mumsnet isn't my highest priority right now, it's caring for a sick relative

@sunglassesonthetable I am sorry I do not meet you expectations either, not sure what you want from me or whatever but it seems a pound of flesh is required somewhere and you all want to get it!

sunglassesonthetable · 07/02/2023 00:22

Yep keep repeating

it's all them not me.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:22

@sunglassesonthetable what would I be getting paid to do?
I have no understanding of what you are on about now?

sunglassesonthetable · 07/02/2023 00:25

getting paid to do?
I have no understanding of what you are on about now?

Well that's crap for starters.

You were talking about the gov sending in people to post on the internet on the other thread. And reputation management.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:26

I am sorry if you feel there are 'lots of digs and put downs', that is not my intention and I am unsure what you are trying to achieve here other than hounding me?
It's quite extraordinary

CertainUncertain · 07/02/2023 00:27

I have taught lots in universities across Europe and the UK, lots of people on here seem to want to have a pop, which is fine,

I honestly don't know anyone above 13 who writes like this, let alone someone purporting to teach English at university level. So I guess my reservations are around, if you're not telling the truth about this, how disingenuous are you being with the rest of your posts, which are both goading and fact-free, and why?

But thank you for re-upping the conspiracy theory thread. It is interesting reading, albeit annoying that it has those lines through so many posts, they must have happened during the site upgrade.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:27

OK. So what are you trying to say?
I really don't get it?

sunglassesonthetable · 07/02/2023 00:28

Nope it's not extraordinary. It's a dialogue.

And what happens if you dish out it tends to come back.

People don't like it.

CertainUncertain · 07/02/2023 00:28

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:27

OK. So what are you trying to say?
I really don't get it?

Well I've said it, straight out, in the post above this one. If you don't get that, I can't really help.

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:33

@CertainUncertain sorry - I was asking that question to @sunglassesonthetable , all very confusing.
I totally get what you are saying and understand your point.
Your thread is really interesting, I am sorry if you think I am a wombat but that is your choice as is using language like goading and fact free, I am just trying to get through this pile on politely.

On the other hand I have no idea what @sunglassesonthetable is on about?
Something about reputation management and getting paid, seems someone is down quite the rabbit hole?

sunglassesonthetable · 07/02/2023 00:36

You were talking about the gov sending in people to post on the internet on the other thread. And reputation management.

Actually you said you had experience in it.

So god knows what if, but you do have an understanding.

And tell you what you've lost your bonus' tonight - you've got so many people's backs up.
😁

HelpfulMonkey · 07/02/2023 00:37

It's just a bit hectic having four different people coming at you at the same time all wanting something and I am not sure what it is?
