Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days.

I agree with @StuckInARug - if you're coughing up green mucus it could be a sign of infection @Sunflowersinthewind

Day 8 here. Just snotty now and coughing up mucus. Feel fine otherwise, albeit a little tired.
Still testing positive too!

Day 14 here and although I’m feeling much better I still have a runny nose, fatigue and I’m constantly hungry and can’t understand why - I mean I ate a jacket potato and 2x bowls of pasta for dinner on Tuesday? I am still in bed early (8-9pm) but can’t get to sleep until usual time of 10.30/11pm and struggling to get up in the mornings but what’s new! I’ve managed work, some housework and a long walk but cannot contemplate exercising properly just yet. People keep telling me to take it easy but it’s hard when you have little people depending on you and a full time job as many of you will understand. Has anyone who is feeling better had any alcohol yet? Meant to be meeting a friend Friday night for some sense of normalcy and would love a glass of something but don’t want to feel awful afterwards.

Day 1 and I feel DREADFUL. Never known aching like it, can't sit, can't stand, can't lay, back is in bits! No cold symptoms yet but OH is on day 4 and he said it's like sinusitis for him so it's completely different!

Day 9 and I don't feel I have got any better for the last 4 days and it's getting me down

• snotty nose, raging thirst, metallic taste and very very tired

I was like this. Horrendous. It cleared on day 4. I recommend an electric heat pad I got mine off amazon. It really helped

Day one for me! I feel like something is pressing down on my chest! Is this normal? Not looking forward to the next few days!

Did/does anyone else feel funny after eating? Keep feeling a bit lightheaded after eating and thought it might have been blood pressure related but have been using my home monitor to check and is a bit high at times but generally good. Knew something wasn't quite right and ordered some lateral flows last night which arrived this morning and had a very faint positive.

Had a bit of a snotty nose since yesterday but only really in the mornings, have a very slight cough aswell which started today. Feel better when I'm moving around but definitely don't feel 100% and wasn't surprised I tested positive considering I didn't have any symptoms until yesterday/today.

Mainly worried about the dizziness after eating because I have been getting this since last week sometime so I wonder if I had covid since last week and it's just coming to an end

Other symptoms are bad back pain in the area of my kidney on the right, mostly at night and there was a night before I went to bed where I felt like I had been drinking and was going to pass out. These might not be related though obviously

Felt like utter shit since Monday with a sore itchy throat and headaches, plus a random bout of shivers last night but all negative tests until I tested this morning and got a positive before the test had even filled up! Hoping my quick positive means I'm in the peak of it cause I have a 5 month old and the struggle to look after myself and her too is real 🥵

Day 10 here and I'm still feeling rough. Was really ill last week but I've been left with overwhelming fatigue, no taste or smell and a chesty cough. I'm feeling really low with it. I'm also breathless and have no energy. I don't have an appetite either, which is no bad thing, and I've lost half a stone (every cloud!). I have a busy full time job and I've been off for the 10 days so far. Goodness knows how I'll go back feeling like this.......

Does anyone have pins and needles? I have it down my left leg and my left leg feels weak to walk on, feels like restless legs with pins and needles

@gettingalife I could have written your post. Day 10 tomorrow, feeling totally exhausted and down. Still coughing. Occasional headaches. Weird taste. I’m supposed to be catching up on all the work I missed but I’ve barely got the energy to cook a meal. I hope it comes back soon.

Day 3 today. Woke with very thirsty at 2.30am. Woke 7am in a sweat but don't have a temp. Test the darkest line have seen yet. Don't seem be coughing as much. Odd sneeze. Nose bit stuffed and odd bit gunk coming out

I have it, with barely any symptoms! My taste and smell have gone a bit funny and that's it. I get the occasional sore throat but nothing worth taking painkillers for. Oh and my eyes hurt for a few days. Otherwise, I wouldn't know there was anything wrong.

Day 7 for me, had a negative test yesterday but back to positive today…just to crush my optimism that we might be able to leave the house soon. Thankfully the horrid headache has passed but still have sore throat, also tight chested (but I do have asthma) n feeling really tired although that might be because it’s been a long week as I’m single parent n had to entertain the 3 year old whilst isolating, she’s been really good but was always going to be challenging.

Really hoping to get back to a bit of normality next week!

I'm on day 5. In Wales so the isolation rules still apply but I'm struggling mentally (have had some severe mental health issues during lockdown, ended up in a psych ward so this is worrying me). Felt really rough yesterday but a bit better today. Extremely congested. My brother died from Covid in 2020. Keep having panic attacks because I can't breathe through my nose properly and think I'm going to end up on a ventilator then die like my brother did. Completely irrational but I'm constantly anxious.

Utterly fed up. Tested right a LFT yesterday which was even more positive than earlier in the week. Was hoping I would test negative by tomorrow so I could just go for a walk round the block to ease my anxiety a bit. Not sure I can cope with another 5 days at home 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm day 7. Strong positive result today which is surprising as only a faint line yesterday. I thought omicron only lasted a few days!!

I had Covid in November too and have been suffering with heart palpitations since. I'm actually waiting for a referral to a cardiologist because of it

Pcr result today Positive
Headache most the day..like a sinus headache.

Lft and PCR pos yest.
Had terrible sinus headache the last few days though. Prob 3 days of symptoms prior to pos test.
Today that’s eased but the fatigue and aches is insane!! Also head cold symptoms
