Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days. GrinWink

Day 3 here. Cold symptoms and lethargy. Hope things don't get worse (I'm a real worrier lol)

Day 1 for me. Tired on Thursday. Slight tickly cough Friday and a bit dizzy. Tested negative so went to work(I'm a GP!) saw 11 patients face to face! Today snuffly and annoying intermittent cough. Need to log on to my work lap top tomorrow and go through all my pre booked patients...most face to face and see if I can convert to telephone. If course if I become more unwell I'll go off sick. I'm the 4th GP to go off in as many weeks and several staff have had it too. Was due to be seeing really good friend today, not seen her since August! But I'm getting married in nine weeks so glad it's hopefully out the way. Just waiting for partner to get it.

Even my wedding dress maker has it!

Yay! Just tested negative.

Hopefully that headache was the last bit of the virus making itself known!

Day 8 for me.
I've got the headache you had yesterday today. It's horrible. Worst I've felt all week.
Still positive on LFT but hopefully I come out the other side tomorrow.

Anyone suffered dry skin as a symptom? I've got it all over my face. Haven't worn make up since Tuesday (day I tested positive). Have tried to moisturise once a day.

Day six for me- still positive on lateral flow.
A lot of my symptoms have gone such as blocked nose and headache. Throat still a little sore and feeling completely drained. My taste and smell aren't quite right either.

Day 4 here (if positive lft day is day 0) and I think I’ve just lost my sense of smell. I can still taste things so that’s a bit weird?? Has anyone lost their sense of smell but retained some of their taste?

I took mom-wed as sick days. Felt much better on Thursday so worked but then on Friday had to go straight to bed after work and been in bed all day today. Wish I'd just taken the full week off.

I can smell a bit but taste is OK.. Day 4 for me, if test day was day 0.

Feel better but no energy, headache but sinus pain is much better xx

OMG I've just read my DD a bedtime story (OH has been on bedtime duties all this week). I couldn't believe how much I wheezed through it. I've been feeling ok generally but that was an eye opener into how affected I actually have been!

Day 3 for me and my throat has never been so sore! And the sweats is on another level, I go from shivering to red hot in minutes. I've tried everything prevent my dc getting it.

Sympathy to all on here who are or have been suffering.
I've got an awful headache, nothing is shifting it, feels like my head is hot and sort of buzzing. Glands are up and deaf on one ear through congestion I think. Hate this virus, it's not just a mild cold. Day 17 here!

Can I ask a silly question? How long did it take for your tests to go positive. Tested dd this morning and it was showing completely clear, even in the light. I held the test to double check and had a spontaneous cough that crept up on me and I didn't have time to put the test down and attempted to put my arm around my mouth but the test was there...stupid I know. I then checked the test and dead on 30 mins there was a thin line there. Can it go from clear negative to positive just like that or could I have contaminated it. Waiting on more tests tomorrow so can't test again until then...what's everyone's thoughts. Note to self when in need to cough just drop the item..unless hot tea Grin

My daughter and I had symptoms 2 days prior to testing positive. Tthe majority of the time post testing positive we have felt absolutely fine. Took us 8 days before a negative test

On Monday I tested negative on LFT but did a PCR as husband was positive and that came back positive the next day. I'd had a sore throat since Sunday. So I'm not sure when I started testing positive on LFT as I didn't bother doing another one till Friday when I was strongly positive.
Just test again as soon as you get your tests but I would be keeping her at home until I confirmed. Or can you go for a PCR?

Sounds to me like you may have contaminated it. If you'd left it for the appropriate length of time, then picked it up, and it was negative at that point, then surely that's the result?

But I'd test again to make sure.

I have it but I'm still testing negative on LFT. My household all have it with positive LFTs and my (non-household) family members who gave it to us have positive PCRs. I'm fairly sure I'll test positive tomorrow.

So far headache and scratchy sore throat with the occasional cough. I think I started to feel ill on 4th but then didn't feel too bad yesterday.

Day after I had cold symptoms a faint line then mega dark for about 8 days from day 3 x

Dd line is very dark but very skinny. I've never seen a line like it to be honest I thought they were thick lines whether they were faint or dark.

I did a PCR for the ONS Covid study which just came back positive from Thursday, so I did a LFT to confirm, but it's negative.
Now I don't know if or how long to avoid people. No symptoms at all.

What day are you on *@Rainbowshit* and what are your synptoms?
My first positive lft was last Saturday. Although I think what I thought was a hangover the day before was probably covid.

Symptoms are shortness of breath, feeling like my chest is restricted, coughing up green phlegm, lower back pain and a bit flu like.

I've tested negative for the first time today.
