Mine is insomnia. I am so very tired (as expected) but I can't sleep.

What other delights have people had?

I felt like I was statically charged. Couldn't hear anything touching my skin.

Very weird

Had covid before vaccines and after vaccines. Def worst before but similar symptoms after covid:

My eyes are sore, bloodshot, red and swollen most days and I have eye drops for them. My eyesight has deteriorated significantly with about 4 years worth of damage with no sign of a cause (apart from covid) in 3-6 months.

My arthritis cleared up but I get strange joint/muscular pains randomly.

Itchy legs for no apparent reason and anti hystamines don't help. Still have.

I sometimes see through a haze - like smoke. When I had covid I could smell smoke but taste was ok.

Absolute exhaustion which I still have.

A strange sense of anxiety.

DisorganisedDolly · 01/02/2022 22:38

All 4 of us had the insomnia. I felt so poorly for the first 4 days too and just wanted to sleep but I couldn’t. Even our 6 year old was still up at 4am. Also Everything I ate tasted weird too. Sweet stuff was too sweet and salty stuff was awful. Once that went everything tasted like bleach. The bleach thing lasted for ages.

sunnyhoneybumblebee · 01/02/2022 22:39

My face hurt and my nose was sensitive

Norugratsatall · 01/02/2022 22:46

Insomnia
Vivid dreams (when I did sleep)
Loss of motor control in right hand
Screaming bleeping noise in right ear
Burning right lung
Insatiable thirst
Feeling anxious and jittery
Brain fog

...I could go on. Strangest virus ever.

Vickles20 · 01/02/2022 23:30

Triple vaxxed here.. I’m on day 12.
Still have lower back pain.
Sore bits on my toes (covid toe?)
Struggle to sleep and waking up a few times, but thankfully not for long
Palpitations
Breathless when talking too much (is worse in the morning even though I’m not talking)
Fatigued feeling

My son is day 7 of covid. Very mild, he’s 10. Complained of waking up throughout the night and feeling itchy all over.

Vickles20 · 01/02/2022 23:32

Oh yes, my eyesight feels worse. Like someone said like seeing through a haze

I’ve got a bloodshot/jelly but on my right eye

Vickles20 · 02/02/2022 00:29

Has anyone had boob ache? Both sides? Left of armpit?

thaegumathteth · 02/02/2022 01:55

Has anyone had a really itchy mouth and throat? Antihistamines did help but don't think I'm allergic to anything?

EllaPaella · 02/02/2022 03:45

Me and ds (7) both have covid at the moment. He had temperatures for a couple of days and I am spiking very mild ones.
We have both felt like every bit of us aches, especially legs and torso. Skin feels all sore and prickly and I keep getting shooting pains, like a neuralgia in random parts of my body.
I fee absolutely bloody terrible if I am honest and can totally relate to the fatigue. Both of us have done nothing except snooze on and off - even making a cup of tea makes me need to go instantly back to bed.

EllaPaella · 02/02/2022 03:46

Can totally relate to the vivid dreams as well, they are so lucid it's almost like hallucinating. I wake up thinking I am somewhere completely different and it takes me a while to get orientated.

EllaPaella · 02/02/2022 03:47

My third jab was right back in early September.

Finallygotme · 02/02/2022 07:46

I had this for the first time last night, but I wake up from them panicked and anxious with a racing heart, then when I finally calm down and go back to sleep I go straight back into the dream.

I know people will read this and think what a lot of crap how can a virus do that, well I have no idea but I don't normally remember my dreams let alone wake up and go back to them

Insomnia. Otherwise very mild - so far.

jocktamsonsbairn · 02/02/2022 21:22

@Vickles20

Yes and I got lumps under my armpit as did my friend when she had it too.
EllaPaella · 02/02/2022 21:56

I keep getting deep stabbing pains in my lower ribs. It really is the gift that keeps on giving! The skin soreness is really profound as well.

HufflepuffPride · 02/02/2022 22:01

My nose hurts and I keep wanting to sneeze but can’t sneeze.

Arsewangry · 02/02/2022 22:08

Smelling cigarette and cigar smoke randomly and frequently. It has stuck around too unfortunately.

I also had one night where I was obsessing over a particular task that I had to do, and the different ways I could do it and it drove me to tears because I couldn't stop thinking about it.

That was a bad night.

Vickles20 · 02/02/2022 22:13

So relieved to hear this. I’m day 13 and they’re still both sides tender. But improving. Lymph glands maybe. I don’t know. But thank you

elizabethdraper · 02/02/2022 22:15

Indigestion

Hungry sick

Bleeding gums

Upper back pain

Meltinthemiddle · 03/02/2022 00:41

I've just tested today. Very strange horrible metallic taste in my mouth was first sign, followed by snotty cold and sneezing fits. I feel incredibly hungry and thirsty. My mouth feels so dry and also have insomnia. So strange normally I loose my appetite but I can't stop eating!

marieantoinehairnet · 03/02/2022 06:37

My bum is aching, hips and bum

HufflepuffPride · 03/02/2022 11:06

Very weird popping candy sensation in my nose.

MollyQueenOfSocks · 03/02/2022 18:22

A really weird smell which must have been coming from my sinuses or the back of my nose/throat.

It didn't smell like a typical sinus infection type smell either, it was a really weird, off smell I can't describe. It went away after 3 or so days but I am still pretty chesty and full of snot!
