Tell me your weird covid symptoms

Mine is insomnia. I am so very tired (as expected) but I can't sleep.

What other delights have people had?

Mouth ulcers.

Severe heart palpitations and nausea which I suppose yes led to insomnia.

First timer here, really sore stiff neck and a red itchy rash all over the front of my neck/chest. Joy.

I'm negative but in house of positive cases, all fully vaxed. My back hurts from my neck down to my lower back. My neck is so stiff and sore, head very heavy. Sore lungs, I feel dizzy, exhausted and eyes not focusing well, very sore. Upset stomach, ears ringing, headache, chills.

One child positive has upset stomach, rash and fatigue only but starving all the time.

Another child positive has classic cough, temp, covid toe and very flu like.

Another adult (negative) overly emotional and exhausted, insomnia, can't concentrate but no aches, pains or coughs (yet).

I had covid in march 2020 and it was the most unwell I think I've ever felt.

I have an ulcer, I'd never considered that to be covid related.

Insomnia, lower back ache, the loop of feeling ok then feeling shocking, awful taste in my mouth, issues holding my bladder , brain fog and saying the wrong words
Then the normal things like cough, headache always threatening, smoke in throat and tiredness.
I'm on day 2 of positive, day 4 of feeling unwell

And I'm triple jabbed. DD who also has it not jabbed at all

I feel like I'm suffocating in a very dusty or smoky room. My eyes are gritty, my skin itchy, throat sore and 'full', I struggle to breath, bizarrely I can even smell smoke. Awful.

Omg I just sent DH a text to ask what was on fire! I'm banished to the spare room with covid. I suppose I'd better admit it is another symptom.

@DoubleShotEspresso, I've got this at present, was at the doctor today, imkon a beta blocker for the heart rate/palpitations and an anti sickness tablet.

The day before I tested positive I had really bad lower back pain. I went to bed and couldnt even get up to get a drink. Later that night I tested positive, then the back pain went away and I didnt really have any symptoms at all.

I had lower back pain for weeks after my first vaccine.

Awful vertigo/lightheadedness, had the runs the first couple of days and was also starving. Also had fatigue, headaches and very snotty. Very breathless (still am) also brought my period on early

Itchy sore eyes, blurry vision
Nosebleeds
Sore tongue
Restless legs/muscular aches
Itchy skin
Fatigue with insomnia

It's not mild!

Thanks everyone for sharing makes me feel a little less alone.

I'm day five from positive test and day six from symptoms and have just started with a temp. Feel bloody awful and still the worst insomnia. When I do finally fall asleep I wake up within half an hour buy feel like I've slept for days but still exhausted. V odd

Looks sore Tokyo have you taken a anti histamine?

Yes! I had wrist pain as well as the lower back pain as one of my first symptoms.

Burning eyes, lower back pain, hated the taste of my favourite Prosecco (don't really think that's a symptom) and my daughter had awful nose bleeds he morning of testing positive (I wasn't sure if it was because she was sneezing so much) she sneezed like every 5 minutes.

Pins and fucking needles in my hands and feet ahhhh. Also shooting pains down my legs which is weird because I also get this the day before I’m due on so I can predict when I’m on with this usually.

I’ve been so itchy 😬rash all over belly, down legs, arms etc.

I’ve had exactly the same! So so unbelievably itchy. Do you normally suffer from allergies? I have very bad hay fever, wonder if Covid has caused some sort of allergic reaction?

No I'm usually completely 'non-allergic' to everything, but this itchiness of this is something else!! 😳

Blood shot eyes
