Mine is insomnia. I am so very tired (as expected) but I can't sleep.

What other delights have people had?

The day before I tested positive I had really bad lower back pain. I went to bed and couldnt even get up to get a drink. Later that night I tested positive, then the back pain went away and I didnt really have any symptoms at all.

Roseandrose20 · 28/01/2022 06:58

Very red, bloodshot eyes

SallyWD · 28/01/2022 07:09

I have insomnia too. I wo der if it's because I'm doing nothing in the day (I'm usually very active and physically exhausted by bedtime). Also just a weird brain fog feeling and legs that feel like jelly.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 28/01/2022 07:31

DS had nosebleeds. I'm not sure if it was connected but he's never had nosebleeds before and he had 3 when he had Covid. I don't think it was from swabbing either as he barely let me put it up his nose, I could only do his throat. He didn't have cold or sinus problems so it wasn't from blowing his nose either.

Ostryga · 28/01/2022 07:33

My skin started buzzing. Like I was electrified but just a bit. It was very weird and quite annoying. Stopped after one day thankfully.

lucylucyapplejuicy · 28/01/2022 08:56

Also insomnia for me but the majority of mine and DH symptoms have been an upset stomach. Other than that we aren't too bad

islamann · 28/01/2022 08:58

I had an ache across my cheekbones, like I'd been laughing too much. Plus lower back pain which until reading this post I hadn't considered could be a symptom. I'm day 2 now and have a barking cough and runny nose and total exhaustion.

TeenTitan007 · 28/01/2022 09:17

Burning eyes like when we have a high temperature.
But I had no fever at all.

MotherOfAllZipFiles · 28/01/2022 09:33

Im just starting to recover, still have a stuffy nose and a slight cough but it seems all i can smell is talcum powder Confused

Finallygotme · 28/01/2022 10:34

Funny isn't it. My dc says their lower back hurts. My arms feel like they are made of cement.

I had no voice for 3 weeks. Absolutely nothing, not even a hoarse whisper.

Then it came back overnight Confused

SpinsForGin · 28/01/2022 11:13

Heart palpitations and a husky voice.
I could also smell smoke.

niceupthedanceagain · 28/01/2022 11:19

Chicken pox like rash all over chest, scalp and neck/shoulders

WarriorN · 28/01/2022 11:21

Yes insomnia for a couple of nights before sore throat and testing positive

Extreme hunger and craving for meat

Feeling exceptionally cold

Funkychicken54321 · 28/01/2022 11:38

'sandy' 'grainy' eyes! weird!

RoyKentsChestHair · 28/01/2022 11:57

All of the above! And pain in my wrists. Very specific!

Have veered between insomnia and sleeping 12+ hours a night/day.

Cough has only really started since the end of my 10 day isolation, otherwise it was more of a sneezing/aching/sleeping thing.

TomDaleysCardigan · 28/01/2022 12:18

Conjunctivitis

2boysand1princess · 28/01/2022 12:45

Buzzing scalp and cheeks. So weird. Eldest DC had same. I had no other symptoms. Also tired but can’t sleep.

Caramel181 · 28/01/2022 12:55

Back ache. Also, a horrible taste in the back of my mouth that won't go away even when I brush my teeth!

AgentCarterRocks · 28/01/2022 12:58

Crushing fatigue, eating a slice of toast sent me back to bed for the afternoon. Wasn't sleeping though. Everything ached. Heart palpitations, a few. A bit of a sore throat but no fever and no cough really.

Armpittits · 28/01/2022 12:58

Losing my voice.
Abnormally low body temperature.
Dry cracked and bleeding skin on my knuckles.
Stingy eyes.

AmbushedByCake · 28/01/2022 13:01

When I was starting to recover my sense of smell after ClassicCovid, everywhere I went I could smell a smell like someone had just done a really awful fart. The grim fart smell was there for a week. Horrible.

DowningStreetParty · 28/01/2022 13:01

Hmm. Now I wonder if the wierd wrist pain I had the other day was that? Get well soon everyone.

missy111 · 28/01/2022 13:02

Crazy itching which isn't relieved by antihistamines.

3luckystars · 28/01/2022 13:03

Mad dreams! They are like films. I’m absolutely loving this part of it. My daughter is having them too so it isn’t just me.

Also back pain, but it’s like a big square shape at my lower back aches, it’s not my actual bones if that makes sense.
