Currently have covid moan thread

Anyone else fancy a grouch at having Covid? I’m a few days in, feeling like crap and fed up with the world in general.

Tea and sympathy to anyone in a similar position?

Yea, the unpredictability is a nuisance. On some days I’ve felt normal and then there’s a big crash. It’s so frustrating. Nothing is roughing my headache either.

Dh and I are going out for lunch and then I’m having a nap.

I read that paracetamol is best to take during covid, so I stuck to that, normally for headaches I’d take nurofen though, now I’m two and a half weeks since first symptoms do you think it’s alright to try nurofen now see if that shifts it?!

I’ve been taking co-codamol , as that’s the only thing that killed headache 🤕
I am better as managed a trip to shops
But mornings ☹️
I can’t imagine getting up at 630 and doing a full day next week

Day 2 for me, waiting for pcr results. Hiding from my family and feel cold, coldy and have a headache. Am asthmatic so trying to keep the lid on my anxiety.

Oh and booster booked for tmw, immaculate timing and clearly right at the end of immunity 😓

@Thisisworsethananticpated Glad I'm not the only one. Such a bizarre symptom. It's got lighter now, just smells dusty not burned.

Day 17 for me, I’ve worked from home all week and managed to do a lot, been out to local shops , a couple of short walks etc but I am feeling tired and got a stinking headache today and feel floaty/like I’m on a boat! Anyone else still feeling the same?!

Day 12 for me @Rainydays55 went out for a short walk and I felt a bit floaty. It’s a really weird feeling, walking about outside just feels like a massive effort as if my legs are heavy. Will be doing as much sitting as possible when I return to work on Monday 😪

Ok so I'm day 8. Still can't taste a bloody thing. It's really really getting me down.

Woke up with the most painful eyes ever and lots of fatigue. Like they where bruised after days of feeling 100% :(

I’m so confused.
I tested positive on a lateral flow on 9th nov, got a pCR done the same day and got the results on the 11th stating I was positive.
Track and trace reckon I need to isolate until the 22nd?! How is that? Is it not 10 days from the symptoms date?

It's 11 days so the day of the symptom plus 10

Freedom day here - did a small good shop and had a walk and managed some lunch out ... now home, tricky bottoms back on and lying on the sofa! Another early night for us

Signing in! Husband and I tested positive on Thursday but had a sore throat in Wednesday so guess this is day 4. Slowly getting worse. Sinus pain, pouring nose, throat like sandpaper, chills and aches. Joyous! My DD(3) just seems to have a cough but my poor DS(2) is struggling with temp and breathing. He has Down Syndrome so his immune system isn't great. Please send prayers that his breathing doesn't get any worse - I am starting to get worried as to how I'd look after him if he got super poorly. Thoughts and best wishes to everyone suffering with this at the moment x

Any one else on day 2 or maybe 3 as cold symptoms sort of started on Thursday. LFT positive today am just now feeling crappy and wondering what to do with my time (self isolating from my family at least until all pcr's back)

My symptoms started 6 months and 1 day from my 2nd jab 🤦‍♀️

I'm a couple of days further on than you Happy - bored and tired, less ill than I was where you are.

I have a question, if my isolation ends on 25th November, does it mean I can go out on 25th or do I have to wait until the 26th?

Fingers crossed I am feeling the same in a couple of days then! Obviously a first timer but I thought it ended at 23.59 on day 10 so the next day would be the freedom day?
