How long did your PCR results take?

I’ve had a faint positive Lft - after the 30 mins - twice - 3rd was definitely negative. Very worried as due to travel v early Friday. Pcr booked for 8am tomorrow.

Hoping most people will say less than 36hrs !

Almost 38 hours now. I just need to know if I am going to this wedding or not. It’s driving me crazy. My entire family is getting everything ready and they are all meeting up tonight ahead of the wedding and I’m sitting here pressing refresh on my inbox like a crazy person.

I need to know now!

Have you tried calling and checking your barcode is linked to your details as I have heard sometimes they aren’t and once done the results come through really quick.

@FlatStanletta I did this earlier and mine was linked all ok and im still waiting for results 6 hrs later , he was super nice and checked for me even though not supposed to due to my circumstances and they said they had not had the results this was after 24 hrs , hope you have better luck
Think they should be back in 24 hrs as a goverment promise

Test 8am at a walk in centre then results by email at 4am the following day and by text message approx 7am

I still haven’t received a text despite testing negative over 12 hours ago

Ok I called and they said it has been registered so I just have to wait…

I’m in the SE. Actually just feel like crying now. Normally it wouldn’t bother me but I really want to go to this wedding! And the not knowing is the worst!

@FlatStanletta what time does the wedding start tomorrow? Do you live far away from the venue? Do you have any symptoms?

@NotSure1542 it’s very nearby, just 15 mins down the road and doesn’t start until the afternoon but still.

My symptoms have pretty much disappeared. Had a bit of a temp and felt like I had a cold with snotty nose and a bit of a cough but much better today! And sense of taste / smell is normal!

Feeling for you all.

I did my test and posted it yesterday and am checking emails very frequently.

I have a hospital procedure early next week and I really don't want it postponed.

So happy for you FlatStanletta! I'm still waiting but took advice from NHS and was told that as I've now had 6 negative lfts and a funny void one and no symptoms I'm fine. Hoping for my official result soon.

Drive in test centre at 10am, result but 4pm same day!!!

Just had ours at 31 hour mark - negative. Thankfully

37 hours, negative, finally.

40hrs after doing the test I just got an email reminder to do it. ☹️ It suggests it's not even in the system yet.
I hope they hurry up...worried about hospital procedure.
