So...whose did a whole year without burst bubble?

From September to July, neither DD had a burst bubble at school or a day off through illness. They didn't attend school between January and March.

I realise this is down to good luck. But I'm intrigued... how lucky was this? The media and other platforms have made it seem like that children were constantly isolating.

(For full disclosure... their father was an essential worker who worked outside the home throughout the past 18 months... and only had to isolate once for 24hrs after mild symptoms while awaiting test results.)

None here at 2 secondary schools.

No bubbles burst at all in my dc's High School. They have insisted on masks 100% of the time the whole way through though.

North West here. Secondary school children and they have both been off isolating 3 times. Even got the call on the second to last day of school so have a child isolating now!

DS just done 1st year of GCSEs and no idea how but doesn't seem to be behind. No idea how.

We've also all had to isolate a couple of times when they've had symptoms and got a PCR.
