For anyone like me who missed the great big red box on the app, the ZOE figures today are slightly alarming compared to yesterday’s figures. They’ve changed their estimation formula to reflect the fact their users have a higher rate of vaccination than the general population.

Frazzled2207 · 13/05/2021 13:44

There is a now a vaccination programme for 18+ in Blackburn. Not sure if that’s government orders or local health chiefs being proactive

Piggywaspushed · 13/05/2021 13:45

Hi all : long time no post.

As many know I am in one of these Indian Variant areas and cases are now rising - another 30 something.

DS's school is a bit of an epicentre and all parents/carers and staff under 39 are being asked to go to hospital for a Pfizer jab today.

There was testing of close contacts (PCR) at the school but we don't seem to be getting surge testing (yet...)

I know there are 4 schools locally causing concern.

My own school is close to DS's. I have heard nothing about masks from DS's school but hoping they will keep them tbh.

PurpleWh1teGreen · 13/05/2021 13:59

Not a data issue, but has anyone with the NHS app looked at it recently? Apparently some people can now see a new section called consultations in the GP data section and it shows the covid vaccines.

Mine isn't showing it yet, but it looks like they might be doing a bit of a soft launch ahead of Monday's announcement. Might be a good time to get the app if you don't already have it.

Bordois · 13/05/2021 14:12

Is this the NHS app you mean?

i'm pleased to hear they are being proactive with vaccinations etc. i don't think this is government policy but it appears that some decisions are being made locally.

Vaccinating is no quick fix, but it is at least a tool in the box that we didn't have last year.

PurpleWh1teGreen · 13/05/2021 14:39

Bordois, yes. Apparently some people can see a new section in the GP record called "consultations and events" and it's in there.

Like I say, I'm not seeing it on my phone, so it may not be fully rolled out yet.

Bordois · 13/05/2021 14:56

I dont have it either, will check again in a few days

lurker101 · 13/05/2021 15:20

@PurpleWh1teGreen is this it? If so, when I click on it, it says my “Patients know best” record needs to be created

borntobequiet · 13/05/2021 15:37

The app and vaccination status was mentioned today on World at One with reference to travel - also rapid spit tests.

borntobequiet · 13/05/2021 15:39

I should have said rapid Covid tests using saliva. A rapid spit test sounds like a disgusting game teenage boys might play.

MRex · 13/05/2021 15:46

Mine is in the immunisation section. Hoping my phone image crop has cropped... Let me know if not for emergency mumsnet deletion request please.

Data, Stats & Daily Numbers started 9th May
MRex · 13/05/2021 15:48

Hmmm. It's also in the Acute short-term medicines section. (As above please tell me if this doesn't crop.)

Data, Stats & Daily Numbers started 9th May
lurker101 · 13/05/2021 15:50

Oh mine has updated now - I can see my covid vaccine under “consultations And events” under “your health” (badly cropped to hide my details)

Data, Stats & Daily Numbers started 9th May
MRex · 13/05/2021 15:52

That's interesting, all I have in that section on the day of the vaccine is "Surgery Name - EXTERNAL USER, ()"
(Literally empty brackets)

JellyBabiesSaveLives · 13/05/2021 15:55

My NHS app has a section called Your Health with a subsection called GP Health Record which in turn has a subsection called Immunisations that shows my covid vaccine. But that section has always been there. Are we getting something new?

PurpleWh1teGreen · 13/05/2021 15:56

That's it. Feeling mildly annoyed now that mine isn't showing it still Smile. Good to know it's working for others though.

Bordois · 13/05/2021 16:03

Mine briefly showed the options Lurker has on their screenshot but when I clithrough they were empty and now the options have gone.

TheDinosaurTrain · 13/05/2021 17:00

Mine is in immunisations and medication on the nhs app

amicissimma · 13/05/2021 17:10

Mine says I don't have access to 'Consultations and Events'.

My Covid vaccinations show in 'Immunisations', however, but just in the short form like MRex's first image. It took about 24 hours for each to appear in the app.

ceeveebee · 13/05/2021 17:17

I downloaded the NHS app but was asked to upload some iD in order to get access to my health records - has anyone else had to do this?

PurpleWh1teGreen · 13/05/2021 17:55

I seem to remember having to do that when I first got the app yes.

The app advises that you may not be able to see your summary if your GP practice hasn't set this up for you. I've just rung my surgery and mine has now updated. I'm not sure that practices are going to have the capacity to cope with the extra phone calls this will inevitably generate though. Perhaps why it has been launched quietly, for now.,

lurker101 · 13/05/2021 18:04

@ceeveebee yes I had to do that today - I uploaded picture of passport, then it scanned my face to compare, got an email about 30 mins later to confirm I had passed their verification checks

ILookAtTheFloor · 13/05/2021 18:05

Mine says nothing, but I remember reading a piece on the BBC (I think it was Rory double-barrelled Welsh name tech editor) saying he called his GP but the official advice is do not do that as it will change automatically next week and GPs will be deluged with requests otherwise!

sirfredfredgeorge · 13/05/2021 18:46

@ceeveebee yes I had to do that today - I uploaded picture of passport, then it scanned my face to compare, got an email about 30 mins later to confirm I had passed their verification checks

Hmm, that seems rather easy to get someone else's app - a copy of passport, a headshot video and their NHS number?

How do you block access?
