So many talking about how this is the great reset, how this doesn't stop until we say it does and how we are never coming out of lockdown etc.

Exactly! Finally someone else that realises there will always be a reason to continue on. The fact of the matter is the vaccine does not stop the spread of covid anyway there will never be 0 covid its literally always been its just this its just that. Cant believe people trust boris! He and his father believe in depopulation they have taken the piss out of everyone from the start of this.

So what can we do? Are we basically screwed? This is our future, it’s no future.

COVID 19 is dangerous. It is not Ebola, but best estimates by experts give it a 1-1.5% infection fatality rate in a country with our demographics. And that is with hospitals not being overwhelmed.

Vaccines work. They are not perfect, but they prevent both infection and serious illness in the vast majority of cases. There is nothing magical about Covid that makes it any different from other viruses we have vaccinated against.

In a pandemic, there is a trade off between the safety of the population and individual freedoms.

Of course, we should always question when our freedoms are taken away, but I see zero real evidence that the government wants to take our freedom away for any longer than necessary.

China does look scary. They are using the pandemic to reduce the freedom of their people even more than they have already. But the U.K. is not China. Our political class may be increasingly venal and selfish, but they want us to have bread and circuses, not a miserable life.

I have been saying for many many months that whatever we (the public ) do, whatever we sacrifice IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH.

Sorry, forced where? As far as I am aware nobody is being forced to have any covid vaccine in the UK (though I appreciate people may feel they have no choice if it turns out they need to show proof of vaccine to go to pubs or restaurants). People are being encouraged to have a vaccine but the Pfizer isnt being pushed in preference to the AZ, indeed most people have no choice which they get, they just get what's available at the centre they go to on the day they go.

But the narrative has been set that anyone that questions anything is an antivaxxer or a covid denier and it ruins their reputation. Academics won't speak out because they risk future funding. Dr Michael Yeadon has brilliant scientific credentials but is being smeared and labelled and people aren't listening to him. He knows what he is talking about.

But thankfully more and more prominent people are starting raise their heads above the parapet, power in numbers.

Other countries are taking a stand. Lots of state governers in the US have banned vaccine passports, including Florida (which hasn't been in lockdown nor had a rise in cases), Texas and others.

Boris has been pushing GAVI, is pushing vaccines himself meeting in private with Gates, speaking about using tech in medicine at the UN General Assembly, he is fully signed up to the SDG 2030. He hosted the Global Vaccine summit. Just obsessed with vaccines and getting them into as many people as possible, no matter the cost or consequences.

Eventually if I want to do my job that requires international travel, if I want to take my son to the cinema etc I MUST provide 'evidence' that I've had an MRNA injection. Whilst nobody is holding me down just yet, in order to provide for my family and keep a home I will be forced to take an injection...

That's why we all have to group together and make sure that can't can't happen. Big Brother Watch are poised to take the government to court once the proposals become clear. Resistance is gaining momentum. I hope more people, pro vaccine or otherwise, wake up and take a stand against coerced medical treatment.

But if this country goes down the route of having to scan yourself into the pub and TK Maxx because the people have let it happen through ignorance or spite then we will be leaving if we can find a country that has managed to resist.

Normal no. We have enormous hospital waiting lists for physical ailments. We have a much bigger mental health problem.

Going abroad for a holiday should be the least of our concerns.

Just read on another thread that COVID passports could be required for clothes shopping after June 21.

Who is saying you must do this? And why only evidence of the mRNA vaccines? Surely for a vaccine passport type thing any vaccine is sufficient? As I said you can't generally choose which vaccine you get so what if you turn up to the appointment and they're giving AZ or another non-mRNA vaccine that day?

So it’s the U.K. that are the biggest pusher of all this? (I’m British but not in the U.K.) My friends in Australia seem to be enjoying a relatively normal return to life, not sure what’s happening with vaccines/passports there. Weren’t all lockdowns etc stopped in Belgium recently? Why is Boris/U.K. so adamant

I agree, a little knowledge is dangerous.

AZ is not 'deactivated virus' in the way you think. It is a DNA viral vector vaccine. It is one step in front of an mRNA vaccine, in that it inserts synthetic DNA into your nucleus to code the mMRNA. The deactivated virus you speak of is a modified Chimpanzee Adenovirus, not a coronavirus.

Of course, we should always question when our freedoms are taken away, but I see zero real evidence that the government wants to take our freedom away for any longer than necessary.
