Can the 40-49 age group now book their vaccine?

Sister’s boyfriend (43) was able today to book his vaccine by entering his details on the national booking site (he is Derby based). Sister late 30s tried too but it said she was not eligible. Her husband tried last week and was also not eligible. Just wondered if anyone else has tried in the 40s age group and been able to book?

Yes im wondering too , had mine but just put dh details in 47 and can get a vaccine but don't want to jump the que if its a glitch

I can book! I'm leaving for now though as I can only get Saturday and I want to get my period and accompanying crap feeling out of the way first so I know whether I've got side effect or not. I could book further away but I'll wait and see if any more local appointments become available.

Keep trying those not able to get through - dp 45 just finally got his booked. I must have tried 40 times and finally it said he was eligible.

Have you tried booking second at a further away centre (and then hopefully moving it nearer the time if more spots open up)? A pp said that worked for them!

The main booking website - the front page hadn't been changed yet but they're gradually opening it up to over 45s this afternoon/evening. I expect they'll only update the front page once all over 45s are able to book.

Try this apparently, it works if you are over 40 now or if you have any underlying conditions which are connected to your hospital number xxx

I've tried repeatedly since around 4:30pm this afternoon. It's just let me book. First dose tomorrow
