Can the 40-49 age group now book their vaccine?

Sister’s boyfriend (43) was able today to book his vaccine by entering his details on the national booking site (he is Derby based). Sister late 30s tried too but it said she was not eligible. Her husband tried last week and was also not eligible. Just wondered if anyone else has tried in the 40s age group and been able to book?

Is it 12 weeks after ? So no moderna tho I take this can change if moderna provided or def it’ll be kept for gps?

I was clearing cookies. Still didn’t work. But then just suddenly did.

Interestingly, first jab in Cheltenham. Great. 2nd jab (July) only offered Banbury 40 plus miles. Much to his displeasure I booked it in the hope nearer the time he could change it. But very thankful x

Maybe it's still going to be very area driven and they are only doing certain areas. So not a nationwide roll-out to the under 50s but only where they have spare doses perhaps.

Anyway I hope a few of the teachers on here get lucky.

Not sure. We’re in Bristol so we should def get vaccines as still loads of people left ... husband is 43 so little bit below the ages mentioned here.

Mine has also been booked for 11 weeks after.

So annoying theres no option to book online in Wales!

Every time I've tried up until now, I've used my DOB only. Today I decided to stop being lazy and actually fish out my NHS number. I used that and it worked but it might just be coincidental though.

@Archiduchesse No, I was on my way home from a day out so I didn’t have my NHS number to hand.

Brilliant some of you can book! I just cleared cookies and tried but computer still says no. 48 (almost 49) in London.

I've been invited for mine this Saturday and I'm 27 apparently my area is flying through it - super excited! (I'm in Wales)

I've just cleared cookies and tried again using my name/dob/postcode instead of NHS number and I've got through. Booked 1st appointment but it won't let me complete the booking as there are no available 2nd dose appointments. I tried booking my 1st dose as far into the future as possible but still no joy. Will keep trying. I'm 45 and East Herts.
