Welcome to the new thread! I will copy over links from the previous thread soon.

Please note, this is a thread to share good news and for wobblers to be reassured. Doomploppers will be met with scorn and derision!

Dropping letters all over the place there 😂😂😂

FuzzyPuffling · 21/02/2021 20:22

Well you'll just have to pm me truely!

Thanks Dobby . Absolutely no regrets about getting the vaccine. If it does this to me, can you imagine the havoc the disease would cause?

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:27

No I never PM people. What you see is what you get with meGrin

You are right about your immune system. It would obviously not have coped well. Glad you got that jab and haven't had to wait to long.

It is amazing to think we only started jabbing people in December. Less than three months ago.

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 20:30

I wanted to be the miss marple of the thread
@Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum
Also intrigued, I’m guessing this thread is talked about else where by double agents !

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:37

Double agents 😂😂😂

I am imagining a scene from ello ello

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 20:38

Hmm taps side of nose

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:41

I need distraction tonight. Any new funny or good debating threads going on?

Not seen anything since a lively one was deleted earlier.

Ha I’m sure I guess if people have time to spare ;
MarshaBradyo · 21/02/2021 20:42

That was a good one Truely shame it went (as per)

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 20:44

Ooh is that a clue @MarshaBradyo

Frazzled2207 · 21/02/2021 20:44

@FourTeaFallOut

If we don't get primary schools, I'll be the crazy lady in a Viking hat charging down Whitehall.
I'll come with you
Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:46

My primary kid isn't to much hassle at home but I will come with you all just to get out of the house 😂

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 20:47

I’m finding jo Whiley a bit clueless atm
She’s appears quite self absorbed in general.
All these celebs that think they know better 🙄

tootyfruitypickle · 21/02/2021 20:48

I'm so nervous about tomorrow ! Really hope it's all kids back .

I also agree they will have to bring back outside meeting. Everyone is doing it, I live rurally and it's got difficult now to avoid huge groups. I've not been breaking any rules but have now fixed up to go for a walk with my folks in a couple of weeks, regardless. I need to see them now and it also feels ridiculous not to when I see others out and about. Plus I'd like to see them pre return to school.

Also John Edmonds cheered me enormously earlier on Marr when he basically said there is no risk outdoors.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:52

To be fair her family must have been worried sick all year. Now this. She is speaking from a place of being very emotionally invested

The celebrities that get me are the ones living very different lockdown experiences than regular folk but think their opinion is needed.

tootyfruitypickle · 21/02/2021 20:53

I quite like her and she made me cry on Marr! She has been talking about this for months and months . We have a child with LD in my extended family and i can see the issues it would cause if she was to catch covid.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 20:54

Judging by last summer they change the rules just at the point people are starting to break them. Then it stops the police having an impossible job trying to make to many people behave.

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 21:07

I find her irritating generally - I think she is one of those people I have an antibody too.

Looks like the thread I was planning to read has been deleted.

Not another one😂
Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 21:10

Nicola sturgeon is my irritant person. My sister feels the same. She won't even use her name. Just say That Woman! Then everyone is supposed to know who she is talking about 😁

Pomegranatespompom · 21/02/2021 21:43

We’ve had so many holidays cancelled - I’ll cry if July is. I think Times are saying no travel until later on the year - really hoping they have this wrong.

OrangeBananaFish · 21/02/2021 22:30

So I've just had a look on the front pages. They all seem to agree. All schools back 8th march along with care home visits and the allowance to meet one other person outside for not just exercise.

29th march is rule of 6 or 2 households even if that's over 6 people outside and outdoor sports can resume. Also it is then that the stay local is dropped.

Its thinking shops in April and pubs later.

There are 4 stages apparently.

So how many more weeks until 29th march 5?

carolinesbaby · 21/02/2021 22:31

No riding lessons till end of March?

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 22:32

If we end up with 4 stages. Then Scotland are bound to have 8🤔

OrangeBananaFish · 21/02/2021 22:33

Got this from tomorrowpapers.com, but it has just pinged up on my phone too. I'm pleased about schools, but really don't understand the outdoor rules when it's been said that outside is really really safe.
