Welcome to the new thread! I will copy over links from the previous thread soon.

Please note, this is a thread to share good news and for wobblers to be reassured. Doomploppers will be met with scorn and derision!
@Inastatus you must be near me, we tend to head to the smaller beaches to the east of Bournemouth. Can’t wait til we can go there again and sit on a bench without fear of being moaned at!!

I’m thinking that now we should be most interested in hospital admission numbers as, even with the vaccine, people will still get Covid but much milder so maybe the infection numbers will stay on the high side.

Daffodils are poking through in my my garden and birds are singing, spring is just around the corner and freedom for us all beckons!
Oh gosh, I for one am going to really miss all the aggression and moaning. Going to the beach without there being a risk of a rock being hurled at the car window....? I mean, life is going to be so boring.

Wink

Lots more daffs out today and I heard some birdsong that made everything sound very springlike.

Personal good news- dh went for a covid test yesterday because he has a cough and a sore throat but it was negative. We can go shopping!

How is the picnic going. Has anyone got any nut crackers I can borrow. I am getting a headache 🤦‍♀️

FuzzyPuffling · 18/02/2021 16:58

I am hungry.
That is all.

Treaclepie19 · 18/02/2021 17:37

😂 our food shop is due tomorrow so I can offer some mini chocolate fingers, salt and vinegar crisps or the odd cadbury orange mousse bunny!

FourTeaFallOut · 18/02/2021 17:44

Having a bit of a hard time at the moment. Combination of cabin fever and >other things which cannot be mentioned without sounding a klaxon< I'm all out of good vibes, can I just climb under the picnic blanket for a wobble? This isn't like me at all.

MadisonAvenue · 18/02/2021 17:44

My food shop has been today so I can offer crisps and After Eights.

Can’t offer chicken though as I had to send our Sunday lunch chicken back with the driver as it was dated tomorrow.

Four big plate of something nice for you Flowers

An NI thread just made me depressed so many wanting to wait, surprised me.

Flowers I’m feeling the same today. Massive wobble. I’ve had enough!
FuzzyPuffling · 18/02/2021 17:55

Aw fourTea and Marsha*...the blanket is ever-expandable, hang on in (under) there.

FuzzyPuffling · 18/02/2021 17:58

For anyone having a wobble, I shall provide jelly for the picnic.

(I actually own a big china jelly mould (Prob 1930s) called "The Great British Lion Jelly And Blancmange Mould". I think we need a spoonful of Great British Lion.)

FourTeaFallOut · 18/02/2021 17:58

Thanks guys. I'm going to put my phone down for a few days now but...I'll be back.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 18/02/2021 17:59

Take care Fourtea x

Bearsbearsbears40 · 18/02/2021 18:15

Sorry to everyone having a wobble today, I had a tough day earlier this week. It does pass.

Can we back up the truck, though, and find out more about these Cadbury orange mousse bunnies?!

thatgingergirl · 18/02/2021 18:24

Take good care of yourself FourTeaFallOut.

Pomegranatespompom · 18/02/2021 18:31

Yep, without wanting to draw a crowd, I hope we don't follow NI. Agree, surprised so many seem to want to stay closed.

@Treaclepie19 I love those chocolate orange bunnies - but. have given up chocolate for lent (and in case we can go on holiday, need to lose the tum).

Pomegranatespompom · 18/02/2021 18:32

@FourTeaFallOut would you like to try some marmite hummus? It's delicious.

InterfectoremVulpes · 18/02/2021 18:36

pats lump under blanket

Chin up fourtea, shall I save you a few mini scotch eggs and a fondant fancy for when you come out from under there?

Treaclepie19 · 18/02/2021 18:36

They're so good aren't they @Pomegranatespompom??
I loved the snowmen so was relieved they just turned into bunnies after Christmas 😂

You must try one @Bearsbearsbears40!

Take care FourTeaFallOut Flowers

Shehz21 · 18/02/2021 18:42

Look after yourself @FourTeaFallOut Flowers
I'm already looking forward to having you back again amongst us.

Mental note to steer clear of any NI-ish thread.
I can't take a wobble right now, mental health really fragile..

Littlebelina · 18/02/2021 18:46

Yes, stay away from the NI thread, the initial responses had me Shock.

Lots of jabby jabby todaySmile

TheChineseChicken · 18/02/2021 18:48

Take care @FourTeaFallOut

I was going to ask what’s the deal with NI (busy day and I haven’t really been online) but maybe I shouldn’t...

TheChineseChicken · 18/02/2021 18:49
