I live in one of the most "behind" areas for covid vaccination - I am waiting for dh to have his vaccination as he is in one of the vulnerable age groups & has health issues. A friend in a county nearby has had their vaccine - in her 60's & as far as I know no health problems. I am not jealous just concerned for dh

Early 70s now (West Mids).

MaddeningtheUnhelpful · 29/01/2021 20:47

my dad has just had his. He's 65 and classed as vulnerable. 80s, 70's are all done as are care home staff, hospital workers etc. Oddly though next county along my paramedic sister still hasn't had one. I'm in the south of England

Tellto · 29/01/2021 20:48

70+

Chosennone · 29/01/2021 20:49

Most early 70s have been done now. So I presume over 65s? I know a 58 year old CEV is going for his Monday.

LindaEllen · 29/01/2021 20:50

My grandparents had theirs a few days ago and they're 80.

ineedaholidaynow · 29/01/2021 20:51

Over 65s starting next week I think

AuntieStella · 29/01/2021 20:51

My lovely friend who is CEV was done last week, so I assume they are at 70+ by age.

But the local news reports also say that not all the 80+ have been done yet.

So I guess they've opened the top 4 categories and are getting through them all in parallel

CurlsandCurves · 29/01/2021 20:55

Over 70s here. My parents and my neighbour have had their letters through, all 3 are in good health otherwise.

LIZS · 29/01/2021 20:55

70+

MaryShelley1818 · 29/01/2021 20:57

My parents - 82 and 66 (with numerous health conditions) have now both had theirs so our area must be on over 65's.

DirtyDancing · 29/01/2021 20:58

Bedfordshire is massively behind where my uncle lives. He is 72 and they said it will be a ‘while’ till they get to him. Still doing 75+. They have even closed one of the vaccination centres as there is no supply!! Utterly shambolic

Dementedswan · 29/01/2021 20:59

70 -74 in my area

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 29/01/2021 21:00

Early 70s no health issues (Yorkshire)

All of the people I know in the NHS and social care have had it too

LizFlowers · 29/01/2021 21:00

Over 70 here.

Latenightreader · 29/01/2021 21:00

My Mum (72) had hers on Weds, Dad (75 in a couple of weeks) has his tomorrow. Different cities, both East Anglia.

Abraxan · 29/01/2021 21:00

Where mil lives - she had her first dose early January. She is 74 iirr.

Where my cousin lives - she is booked in next Monday for dose 1. She is CEV, early 50s.

Someone we know in our town, but different area - she's had hers this week. She is in her 60s but I think she is CEV.

All in South Yorkshire.

Kitkat151 · 29/01/2021 21:01

Group 4 here in NW....ove70s and CEV

WorriedMillie · 29/01/2021 21:02

My mum (75) was jabbed yesterday, OH (CEV, 50) is booked in for Tuesday
Worcestershire and apparently doing really well with vaccinating

Abracadabra12345 · 29/01/2021 21:03

In SE - age 70, on Monday

DeeDimer · 29/01/2021 21:05

South Wales. High % of over 80's done and a lot of over 75's and those CEV.

Angel2702 · 29/01/2021 21:16

Varies greatly here some over 80s only just done but others at different dr surgery just got letter for groups 3 and 4 this week. Will be a while before we get to over 65.

OrangeBananaFish · 29/01/2021 21:17

Is there somewhere you can find out or is it all by knowing people who have been vaccinated?

The only people I know either work in care homes or in the NHS.

newtb · 29/01/2021 21:17

Only over-75's. I live in France. Flu vaccine at 65.

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 29/01/2021 21:17

75

Might be lower than that but dad and fil who are 75 are having theirs over the next few days

Dressingdown1 · 29/01/2021 21:23
