6.3 million people vaccinated already - brilliant!

6,353,321 people in the UK have now received their first dose of the vaccine - that’s 1 in every 8.3 adults. It’s a truly remarkable achievement to have reached so many people in such a short space of time.

We have some rather hunky young soldiers helping local nurses to give the jabs apparently. Our local 70+ ladies are all over Facebook swooning🙈 Definitely a good day out to them apparently 😂

We have soldiers at our hub too, I hope I'm so flirty in my 70's! It's a lovely atmosphere.

Cant see that the full official figure has been put up yet, but yesterday saw 374,756 people vaccinated, smashing us through the ceiling to reach a total of 10,021,471 first doses!

We have about half a million people fully vaccinated, 10million partially, and that is a fantastic achievement

And in other good news, my parents (aged 65-69 so priority group 5) got the call this morning - they’re having their first dose on Friday and have also been given a date for the second dose in April. I can’t believe it, I was expecting late Feb to be honest. I’m so happy.

Really really good news to have hit this milestone. I'm now vaccinated (work in SEN), my husband too as CEV. So too are our parents. . Still so many people are fighting this in hospital but there is hope now.
