@Bailey0703

Does it really matter ? If Dd/DS take their GCSEs a year late as long as their GPS are still alive ?

This is where we are at..

My GM died when I was taking my A-levels over 20 years ago. It's quite a normal thing for GPs to die when their grandchildren are around this age, not something to take a year out of education to desperately try to prevent.

I’m so fucking sick of this argument. 0.08% of population is affected in our area. And that’s just cases not deaths. People acting like it’s the Black Death need to get a grip and take a hard look at the extreme measures being put in place for a pandemic with those kind of figures.

Philip Schofield came out quicker than this.

Thanks Sister I'll try sky.

I heard them say no meeting indoors except for childcare. So I (as a single parent of teens) lose my support bubble. My married brother who pretends they need childcare will still get to see parents. Fuck it. What's the fucking point.

Peston's twitter said childcare and support

They won't scrap support bubbles - partly because they know people will ignore it, but mostly because they don't have services or SS capacity to do the care for people who'd need it.

I can't lose my support bubble. The last lockdown nearly broke me. I need to be able to see another human being.

Im seriously hoping it won't come to that and that I either misunderstood, or they just didn't mention them. I'll survive a lockdown. My teens are amazing and they'll get me through. But I'm lucky to have them.
I'm still angry though that I'll potentially lose the support I had, when others will bend the rules to suit them.

Game over so any time now...

He’s just watching the highlights and then he’ll be with us...

But support bubbles are nothing to do with caring for people, they are to allow single adult households to have contact with another adult(s). I have a support bubble, but I don't need care or help or anything from SS.

They’re here!!!!

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 31/10/2020 18:50

@lyralalala oh good. I hope that's the case, although my brother has a way of making my mum belive he needs the support more than I do. I'll just continue committing fraud and when I'm PM I'll make them suffer Wink

LolalovesLondon · 31/10/2020 18:50

Everyone. They're not centred properly

I work at a non RG uni @Bathroom12345 and I have never worked harder. I did 12/13 HR days Mon to weds this week, getting up at 5.15am. I have done three hours work today ( 7 to 10am sat am) and will work tomorrow. We do reply to students and have never devoted more time to teaching. It's do demoralising to read such negative accounts. I only had Thurs and Fri off as half term, I have my own children too. We really are looking after our students to the very best of our ability.
