Sooner than expected! Wondering what he will say...

OP posts:
WhiskersPete · 31/10/2020 18:30

Larry the cat!

DuncinToffee · 31/10/2020 18:30

"we think it might happen in the next 15 minutes' BBC news

Coriandersucks · 31/10/2020 18:31

Even Larrys looking fucked off now.

15 minutes or so my arse. I need to start bedtime my kids are running riot!

SophieB100 · 31/10/2020 18:32

"Will you do the briefing, Downing Street Cat? The great one is indisposed."

DSC: "Me....'ow?"

cptartapp · 31/10/2020 18:32

skyr2 agree.
And with DC in year 13 and 11 I'm desperate for them to stay in. Remote learning is not good enough. These year groups must be an absolute priority. Masks probably and given the whole run of the buildings if need be.

laudemio · 31/10/2020 18:33

Are they in COBRA watching the rugger do you think?

randomer · 31/10/2020 18:33

surely the one thing our sad little island had going for it, is just that.....it is an island.

RichardMarxisinnocent · 31/10/2020 18:34

I am starting to get a bit anxious at the lack of mention of support bubbles on the BBC. They have just said people will be allowed to meet one person outside from a different household, and something like that will be good for people who live alone. But people who live alone can have a support bubble, so why would it be good for us to be able to see someone outside? Yes it would be nice to be able to see someone other than my support bubble DP, but the bubble is a lot better than meeting someone outside at a distance.

Rinoachicken · 31/10/2020 18:35

He’s always late for work!! Can we pull him up on a disciplinary for poor timekeeping?!

Lougle · 31/10/2020 18:36

I'm worried about my parents. DF is my DM's carer and I usually visit every day to keep them going and drop in bits and bobs.

Pavlova31 · 31/10/2020 18:36

6.30 and they have not got round to finishing the sound checks .

Aragog · 31/10/2020 18:36

Year 11 and 13 should be prioritised, along with the November resit exams.

Other children not in full time at least to allow for those year groups to be in smaller bubbles . Those exam years should be getting the input part of their lessons f2f, as well as time for feedback and monitoring.

Medievalist · 31/10/2020 18:37

Do they have any idea how bad this looks? Joking aside it obviously means there is disagreement over something. Didn't think it was possible for them to look even more incompetent than they have done already.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/10/2020 18:37

What channel are people trying to watch it on? I'm in the car and bbc live have a lady talking. No signs of Larry.

I heard them say no meeting indoors except for childcare. So I (as a single parent of teens) lose my support bubble. My married brother who pretends they need childcare will still get to see parents. Fuck it. What's the fucking point.
Coriandersucks · 31/10/2020 18:38

@Lougle I would hope things like that will be considered essential. We have the same issue with mil there’s no way my dp is going to stop going to see her to do jobs she is incapable of doing.

Bailey0703 · 31/10/2020 18:38

Does it really matter ? If Dd/DS take their GCSEs a year late as long as their GPS are still alive ?

This is where we are at..

SheepandCow · 31/10/2020 18:39

Is that the wonderfully intelligent scientific expert, Professor Devi Sridhar, on the BBC?

I vote for a jobshare for PM. Prof Sridhar and Larry the Cat.

ASchuylerSister · 31/10/2020 18:39

OYBBK I always watch it on Sky News because whenever I’ve watched it on BBC, they never show the slides that the scientists talk about.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 31/10/2020 18:40

Game over so any time now...

They don't care.

In their arrogance they think they are the best and brightest and most important - and so the opinion of plebs means nothing. They could not care less what you and I think - so long as they can keep skimming off the £.

Even less now that elections can be so easily bought.

First time I've heard her speak but she made a huge amount of sense, to me. Really impressive.
Mrsemcgregor · 31/10/2020 18:41

Philip Schofield came out quicker than this.

I can't lose my support bubble. The last lockdown nearly broke me. I need to be able to see another human being.

Delta1 · 31/10/2020 18:41

Told you he was dressing up... why else would we STILL be waiting?!
