Sooner than expected! Wondering what he will say...

@SomeoneTellBorisHeHasDandruff

Where is Boris?

Is he making a mad dash to Asda to buy his essentials before lockdown?

He's putting on his hat so he can wish us happy Halloween!
GhostsUpMePosts · 31/10/2020 17:22

@randomer

This is hardly the behaviour of professionals is it?
These are not professionals. They are not even close to being such.
AuntLucy · 31/10/2020 17:23

So where the fuck is he? How long are we all supposed to sit here in front of the BBC fluffers waiting for him to get his shit together and come out and say whatever he has to say?!

GintyMarlow2 · 31/10/2020 17:23

There is no point in a lockdown and leaving schools, colleges and universities open. Once again, a feeble, half hearted response, too late as usual. Why didn't he use half term ffs!!
Boris can't expect businesses to close and survive on 67% of salaries.

DuncinToffee · 31/10/2020 17:23

He is shitting himself, another U-turn and they had to get rid of a pinned tweet calling Keir Starmer an opportunist for calling for a lockdown

MarshaBradyo · 31/10/2020 17:24

cologne4711 · 31/10/2020 17:24

Are you Xenias twin that's harsh!

Neolara · 31/10/2020 17:24

JacobReesMogadishu - very sorry to hear about your mum.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/10/2020 17:25

What's the matter?

Can't they get the fridge door open?

And yet Ireland, Germany, France and Belgium are doing exactly this (not sure about Spain). And in Scotland the cases have started to come down despite schools being open so why can it not work in England?
NilesandDaphne · 31/10/2020 17:25

I am starting to think he loves this, keep us all waiting until our fabulous leader addresses the plebs. Or more likely, they haven't got fucking clue what's going on and are still scribbling with crayons while doing the lucky dip of lockdown rules

AuntLucy · 31/10/2020 17:25

FFS. So rude. There's only 60m of us waiting to hear this. No rush or anything. We'll all wait, you take your time 😡

Sparklfairy · 31/10/2020 17:26

Sky just said 'sometime this evening, possibly in the next hour and a half'

So Boris is being as clear and specific as usual then Hmm

SomeoneTellBorisHeHasDandruff · 31/10/2020 17:27

So we’re thinking a trip to Asda to stock up on bog roll, a big shit and then a hair cut. Then I reckon he’s popping into Wetherspoons to get a bit of dutch courage, steak and chips and watch the rugby.
Surely he should be ready to roll at 6.30.

BenchHench · 31/10/2020 17:27

@BenchHench

Lockdown starting Thursday.
Told you it would be Thursday Wink
GabsAlot · 31/10/2020 17:28

MaxNormal · 31/10/2020 17:29

Rude bastard, utter clown.

It would be quite funny if it wasn't so serious. Ffs Boris you can't even do a press conference correctly will we still be waiting at 7/8/9pm ? . He better not interrupt strictly it's the highlight of my week . Get on with it Bojo !!
Parker231 · 31/10/2020 17:29

From the BBC Twitter - PM news conference delayed. Was at 4, then 5, now 6ish. Suggests trouble in Cabinet or from backbench MPs. Remember that new national measures need Treasury funding & MPs to vote in favour

AnyFucker · 31/10/2020 17:29

I would rather a delay if it makes it more likely that the announcements made have been prooerly thought out and not the usual kneejerk reaction.

< ever hopeful >

Or possibly somebody is desperately pouring black coffee down Boris's throat in an attempt to sober him up before he is wheeled out to the nation

StaffAssociationRepresentative · 31/10/2020 17:29

What about Strictly?

throwaway100000 · 31/10/2020 17:30

Ah it’s been delayed? Put us out of our misery already Sad

If they need votes in favour it’ll be a difficult sell
Splodgetastic · 31/10/2020 17:31

He couldn’t be on time to his own funeral.

Devilesko · 31/10/2020 17:31

My 16 year old said he's shitting himself, oo scared to come out Grin
I just wish they'd close the schools, to actually make a difference.
