My single neighbour has a woman round

Neighbour is an eternally single batchelor - he appears to have pulled a woman and is getting her drunk in his living room (naaaice). He does this from time to time. I can hear them through the walls.

Without going into details he’s a selfish arse - should I report him? If I do l, he’ll surely know it’s me. Will anyone actually care?

Jesus no. Do you have any idea what it’s like for single people? It’s not going to give you Covid, keep your nose out.

indemMUND · 25/10/2020 22:44

If you can deal with any reprisal from him given he'll know it's you... and think that realistically someone will actually come out and deal with it, fill your boots.

dementedpixie · 25/10/2020 22:44

Are you in an area where people can't be indoors?

FractionalGains · 25/10/2020 22:44

Absolutely not.

plinkplinkfizzer · 25/10/2020 22:44

Why nosing in someone's personal life . Creepy .

dementedpixie · 25/10/2020 22:45

And I don't think anyone would care, its not a big party where lots of people could get infected

Picktionary · 25/10/2020 22:45

No! Why would you do that???

katy1213 · 25/10/2020 22:45

He probably hears you, too. When you're not twitching curtains.
But you're right. Nobody will care.

Sure you 'can hear them through the walls' OP. FFS get a life and stop obsessing about your neighbour's love life.

nancybotwinbloom · 25/10/2020 22:46

No I absolutely wouldn't

Enough4me · 25/10/2020 22:47

As long as it's not over five women it would be fine where I am.

Just for clarification we are in an area where households aren’t allowed to mix inside

OP posts:
WouldBeGood · 25/10/2020 22:48

You shouldn’t. You live your own life and let others live theirs.

And no, no one will be interested.

Put on some music and stop listening to your neighbour shagging.

user102740264923 · 25/10/2020 22:48

You're publishing commentary on another person's private life online. What does that make you?

littleblackno · 25/10/2020 22:49

Report him for what? Hes a single person, this could be someone in his 'bubble'.
Seriously, unless you can hear something abusive happening then ignore and get over yourself.
There are alot of selfish arses out there but reporting him sounds vindictive.

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/10/2020 22:50

Ffs, keep your bloody nose out.

BumbleFlump · 25/10/2020 22:50

Why nosing in someone's personal life . Creepy

Definitely not nosing I can hear them through the walls.

IcedPurple · 25/10/2020 22:50

I think this thread should be moved to MN Classics or otherwise preserved for posterity. Because in time to come, without hard evidence, people simply won't believe the sheer insanity of these days, or just how easily some people would happily turn into neighbourhood Stasi.

MajesticWhine · 25/10/2020 22:51

FFS leave them alone. Two consenting adults not affecting anyone else. Get a life.

cabbageking · 25/10/2020 22:51

If he lives alone this could be his support buddy. Which is allowed.

nancybotwinbloom · 25/10/2020 22:51

@Enough4me

As long as it's not over five women it would be fine where I am.
Hahahahaha

Definitely not nosing I can hear them through the walls.

Then put on some music or invest in some noise-blocking ear phones.

Can he hear you frantically clicking away on your computer 'through the walls'?

Tigertotea · 25/10/2020 22:52

Is this a joke? No, of course you shouldn't.
